I love when Chantal writes about the MC world and then she combines characters from past books into all her stories. If you read the first book in The Cursed Ravens, then you know that’s where we met Knuckles. He is the sweet down to earth single father of two beautiful girls and the Sergeant of Arms in the MC. We met Celina at the end of the first book and she is Erin’s cousin and journalist for a paper. When Knuckles and Celina meet for the first time their attraction is intense but Celina fights tooth and nail to keep her walls from crumbling down. Knuckles takes on the task of integrating himself into Celina’s life to get to know her. She finds it funny and irritating because she is an independent woman. Celina has another agenda and that is to write a story about the MC. When she finds out the MC aren’t who she thought they were she puts a stop to the story while someone may be causing trouble in the background. Celina and Knuckles are becoming close all the while there are people trying to keep them apart. Celina has trouble letting people into heart and they both have trouble trusting. When trouble brews Knuckles, and Celina must fight to keep what they have or risk losing out on something special.
I love that men in the MC can be sweet and protective when it comes to family and those they love. This second book was better then the first but still the was some drama in places that there didn’t need to be. I loved Knuckles and when he girls were in scenes they were so cute in their interaction with Celina. Both characters are stubborn and that can cause a lot of drama to unfold. I do love the story line and each scene flowed into one another and never lost momentum. There is an intensity to the men in the MC and when they find a need they will do anything to fight for it. Love that kind of story and Chantal knows how to write those kinds of stories. This one has all the characteristics that she loves to write about and that is why she is one of my favorite authors to read about. We must tone down the dramatics though Chantal and maybe find a happy balance to the drama. Keep on writing though because I love all your MC series and have never missed a book.

3 to 3 1/2 Stars.

For the life of me I could not get into this story. The characters just seemed flat. I enjoyed Knuckles in the last book, but he didn’t even seem like the same character. He seemed dull and kind of blah. I really didn’t feel a connection with him and Celina. Celina was just a cold flat out mean person. She was so mean to knuckles and she too was just flat. I couldn’t relate to her at all.

This book seemed so different from the first. It is almost like a different person wrote it. The characters before got on my nerves, but I was into them. This time the story was a chore to get done.

Was very disappointed. Received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley.

This is book two in the Cursed Ravens MC series, and I do suggest reading book one Ace of Hearts. It just makes more sense to, everyone is introduced, and you start to get a feel for the cast of characters that the author has created. Knuckles was one of my favs, and I am very glad that he got his book next. With two daughters that he co-parents seemingly well, he is also Erin's best friend. When Celina, Erin's cousin, is invited to a party at the clubhouse, she has no clue what to expect. What she walked into was definitely not it. Something that was more like a home than what you would see on TV wasn't what Celina thought she would get, but she has to admit, she does like it. When Knuckles makes a point of introducing himself to Celina, he has no intention of letting her get away. For Celina, her trust in men is lacking, and Knuckles is not what she would have envisioned herself hooking up with, but there is something about the way he woos her. Will Knuckles be able to get Celina to trust him? What about when it comes to light that Knuckles himself has trust issues, will Celina be able to prove that she is worth trusting?

I really liked this story. While it was more personal drama than MC drama, this was still very entertaining. With some hot sexy times, some OMG moments, and a bit of wanting to throat punch someone, this gets 5 stars.

I received an ARC from Netgalley. This is the second book in Chantal Fernando's Cursed Ravens series. I read and adored her first MC Club series the Wind Dragons. This second series hasn't disappointed. Knuckle Down started off great and ended even better. Celina was a good mix of bad ass and vulnerability. Knuckles is every woman's dream man. Tall, dark, and handsome and an awesome father. I was rooting for them the whole time. I can't wait for Rogue's story.

Celina is Erin's cousin. She is a journalist. After being cheated by her ex its been hard for Erin to let someone in. She's afraid of being heartbroken again. Knuckles is Erin's best friend in the clubhouse. He has two daughters who he would do anything for. He and his baby mama have separated due to trust issues. When Knuckles meet Celina at a club party who couldn't wait to make her his. Will Knuckles succeed in breaking down Celina's walls? I liked this book just wished there were more plot twists.

After reading Ace of Hearts, I was super excited to see more about Knuckles. I adored him in the first book and seeing him in this one was stunning and heartstopping. He is completely swoon worthy that makes you want a Knuckles of your own! Then Celia was a brilliant character. She gives as good as she gets and doesn’t back down regardless of what is thrown at her. Add these two together, it was positively sinful. The one thing I adored about this story is that you get a deeper look at this MC and how it is rolling. You have a tough as nails single dad who lives for his club and his daughters and you have a reporter who wants to bring out the good to the world about the MC. Their banter is hilarious but also so passionate. When things hit the fan, it was tough to watch how things unfold and my heart broke for them. But both of them are fighters and that is what made me adore them even more.
Overall, this was a fun read that keeps you on your toes, not just with the passionate moments but also with the witty banter and fun moments that happen throughout. I wanted to junk punch the people that Celia worked with in the worst way! If you haven’t picked up this series, you want to do so. This is a brilliant take on a new MC club and Fernando’s words are pure magic.

Knuckle Down is the second installment of Chantal Fernando's Cursed Ravens MC series and brings us to the Sergeant at Arms story. Jack 'Knuckles' Chester is a single father with a reputation for his fighting but has a soft side that he doesn't try to hide. I loved when we were first introduced to him in the first book but his own story made me love him even harder. He was such a contradiction and I thought it was amazing how we got to meet this tough as nails biker that turned out to be super sweet.

He made this story truly spectacular in my opinion and it was seeing him with Celina that had me loving it so hard. I thought they were great together despite the fact that you wouldn't think a biker and journalist would be a good match. Yet they proved me wrong. There was, of course, some angst thrown in as usual with these books but it was nothing too over the top and instead added a lot of intrigue to the story. I really enjoy when Ms. Fernando gives me that little bit of extra something in the story that keeps me captivated with the characters.

Overall, I loved this book and would definitely recommend it for anyone that wants to meet an adorable, yet bad as hell, biker. And I would say that this book could be read as a standalone with no problem and you won't really get spoiled about the first book in the series.

I Loved this Character as Erin's Best Friend in the first book of this Series, Ace of Hearts, and couldn't wait for his story.
His love interest here is Celina, Erin's older cousin, a highly independent woman, ambitious, oh and the big NO NO for a biker, she's a journalist!!!!
Meeting Knuckles at Erin's birthday party kind of throws Erin into the deep end of an MC Club. The attraction between her and Knuckles is obvious. But he's everything that is wrong for her, he's a single parent (instant swoon) he's a biker ( HOT SEXY BIKER), he's making her feel things she shouldn't (omg yes he's the kinda man we all want).
I loved how Knuckles goes after this woman, woo's her in such obvious yet Alpha ways. Even though they are total opposites i was captivated. I loved Celina, and how she spoke her mind. Even though you know their story will have drama, this author brings it to you perfectly. Even though this is an MC Series we really get the emotional fix we need, on a personal level, with the important things like LOVE, Loyalty, Family, Protectiveness, and two people who just want to share their lives together despite the odds and have their "family behind them." Isn't that what we all want?? Oh be Still my heart!! I feel like a cliche, because this author always makes me eat my own words. I love the Hero's and everytime i find my favorite, she gives me another to take the pedestal as she has done this time yet again !!

ARC received for an honest review

Oh. My. Knuckles!

I adored you as Erin's "best friend" in Ace of Hearts, but now I have a full blown crush on you!

And if you have read the first book, you will remember Celina, Erin's cousin? She's older than Erin, but in some ways she feels younger.

And when the biker and the journo meet - well, things don't go the way either of them expect, but boy is is better than anything either wanted.

A journalist and a biker together -yeah, you can see the conflict between them coming a mile away, however it was not what I expected it was going to be.

A single dad, Knuckles really is all kinds of swoonworthy when he is with his girls. I mean... le sigh. You need to look past the kutte and the rumours about bikers to get to the real man.

I love the push/pull between Celina and Knuckles- well, him pushing for more, and Celina pulling away lol. There is such a spark between them that you can't help but want them to get more.

Was great to get more of the Cursed Ravens MC, loved seeing where Erin and Ace were at in their relationship, and I neeeeeed to know more about Rogue/

ASAP.

Can't wait for Going Rogue - even though it is only a few weeks away, it is too far away!

Gimme gimme gimme!

Knuckles grabbed my attention as the "bestie" to Erin in the first Cursed Raven's book, Ace of Hearts.  I was eager to get his book and crack some of the mystery surrounding this character.

He was as great as I thought he would be.  Strong, loyal, a little bit scary (he is the Sergeant at arms after all) but still soft and sweet when he needs to be.  He has it all.  Seeing him with his girls was the absolute best.  His character wasn't one you expected to be a family man so when he was it really endeared him to me.

Celina was not a character that I connected with at all.  She came off as too abrasive and distrustful.  Even as she began to change throughout the book I still didn't find myself warming to her.   I did like how she slid into the roll of "Old Lady" it suited her but, in general she just didn't do it for me.

I did really enjoy the storyline of this book.  It flowed well with the perfect amount of ups and downs to keep you interested and engaged in the story.  The end really caught me off guard, I wasn't expecting it to take that turn and I loved that it did.

Celina doesn't usually let anyone in, and Knuckles has his two daughters to think about, but after a little "wooing" I guess you could call it by Knuckles, Celina decides to give it a go with him, he is after all chivalrous, funny, kind, and an oh so HOT alpha biker badass. At the first hurdle though, things don't go smoothly; will the pair be over before they even really begin?

Although not quite as dramatic as book one (Erin and Ace), Celina and Knuckles' story still has some drama, sexy times and a tiny bit of action. A bit of a surprise thrown in at the end too. Another good read from Chantal Fernando, and I'm looking forward to reading Rogue's story next. Knuckle Down gets 4 stars from me.

Knuckle Down is the 2nd book in The Cursed Ravens MC series, this book is amazing and takes you on a journey of love, trust and just a little bit of drama.

Knuckles is not what Celina thought, Sergeant at Arms, loving Father, loyal and her cousin’s bestie. Celina is an accomplished journalist, her career and dogs are priority, falling for Knuckles was not part of her plan. When a party at the clubhouse brings her face to face with a story that could get her onto page 1 she makes a choice which leads to ramifications regardless of what decision she made.

Knuckles is devoted to his 2 daughters and his club, he hasn’t found anyone to share his bed long term, when he met Celina everything changed and Knuckles bought his A game which turns out to be just him. Celina is an independent woman who has is driven and has everything she ever wanted in her sights. Will her relationship with Knuckles bring her down, or will they stand tall together?

From the moment that Celina and Knuckles met, it was on. Celina stayed in denial about how she felt but deep down she knew that the allure of Knuckles and his swoon worthy moments; which let face it was always, they would have a fast and furious relationship. Together they burned up the pages leaving me hanging on every moment.

Chantal absolutely smashed this book out of the park. I fell in love the Chantal’s writing while reading Ace of Hearts and couldn’t wait to read Knuckle Down. Chantal made you feel like you were there living within the book and making you wish that Knuckles was your man.

I personally couldn’t put this book down, I was counting down till this book came out and It will be the same until Going Rogue hits my Kindle. Chantal has cemented a spot in my top Authors and I can’t wait to see where she takes this series.

In the second book of this series, we have the story of Knuckle, a single father of two lovely girls and also the Serjeant-at-arms of the Club and Celina a journalist who is a cousin of Erin, the heroine of the previous book, and see if a relationship between a journalist and a member of an MC can work or if fatally this will end badly.

What I liked in this book was the way that the author conducted the story, we have a couple that live in different worlds and who feel an attraction for each other and begin to explore this. And we see them dealing with this, coupled with the uncertainties that both have to trust in the relationship and how they navigate in this new universe again for both.Without excessive dramas, this book tells the story of a couple trying to navigate a relationship that is new to both.

Knuckle and Celina are soon liked characters and the chemistry between them worked from the first interaction. It was hard not to smile through the interaction between these two in some moments and when joined with the lovely daughters, was a smile on his face for sure.Of course this book has drama, has element beyond cliche, but honestly reading the book was so hot that it didn't bother me much.

Knuckle Down is a lovely reading for those who like books like that. Let it be clear that I think no one writes better about this universe than Chantal Fernando,She manages to balance good romance, action, drama all the style of this universe that make its fast reads and addictive.

This is the second book in the cursed ravens mc series, this is Jack "knuckles" and Celina book, they call Jack knuckles due to his reputation as a fighter, Celina is a journalist for the local newspaper. They couldn't be more wrong for each other! But their chemistry is off the charts!! But when a story is published in the local newspaper it breaks knuckles trust! This was a great story, very hot, some heartbreak, definitely some action and some drama! I definitely recommend reading this book! Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

Be ready to swoon for Knuckle's. With Knuckle down you get not only a biker but a single dad of two awesome girls too. I love Knuckles aka Erins bestie. He is gentle yet you know he means business. Celina is one strong cookie. It's no wonder she and Knuckles hit it off from the start. I love how she just doesn't bat her eyes when it comes to his daughters of the MC. She fits right in. Knuckles and Celina are one of my favorite couples. In Knuckle Down you get to see a little more of how much of a family this MC really is. I heart the Cursed Ravens hardcore. Chantal Fernando is doing a fabulous job with this MC series. This is one series that should be read by you MC lovers out there.

Knuckles was one of my favorite characters in the first Cursed Ravens book, so I was excited to dig into his story. It doesn't disappoint. He's aware of his sex appeal and doesn't care to point it out, but he's not over the top arrogant about it. He's also completely unfiltered and has a wit about him that I absolutely love. Celina is his opposite in almost everything. She's straight-laced and emotionally closed off. She does voice her opinion, which of course, often differs from Knuckles' and their resulting banter is witty and fun. As with the first book in the series, we don't get the down and dirty details of the MC. The book is more about the feeling of family and personal interactions of the group. The drama is obvious, even before it happens, but the focus of the story is in the developing relationship between Knuckles and Celina. I loved how their romance develops as they move toward a happy medium with their differing lifestyles. All in all, another entertaining, fun read from this author.

With a nickname like "Knuckles" one would automatically assume Jack Chester is a bad boy, which he is, but underneath that rough exterior is a guy with a big heart. A heart that currently belongs to his daughters, they are his number one priority, and he'd do anything for them, but somewhere along the line he needs to make a little time for himself too... maybe work on finding someone to share his nights with. Living in the clubhouse means there are always various women hanging around to occupy his time, but that's not really the kind of woman you can make a life with, he wants someone who understands the life he leads, and is willing to share it with him.

When the clubhouse hosts a birthday party for one of their own, they open the house up to guests of her choosing, and she invites her best friend Celina. The moment she walks into the clubhouse she manages to catch the eye of every single MC member in attendance, but it's Knuckles who plans on spending the evening occupying all of her time. He likes what he sees, and from what his friend has told him about her he thinks they would make a pretty good pair, but first he has to convince Celina to give him a chance. She is a no fuss kind of girl, and she isn't really in the market for a man, which means Knuckles has got his work cut out for him...

Knuckle Down is a enthralling little page turner that is sure to pull you in from the very first sentence, and keep you completely captivated until the last... the moment my eyes found the words, I couldn't pry them away!! This is my second visit to the series and I have to say that I loved this visit just as much as the first, Knuckles caught my attention in the first installment, and I couldn't wait to meet the man under that rough and tough exterior... and my oh my did I love what I found!! He managed to give Ace some serious competition as my favorite Cursed Raven, he had moments that made me smile, moments that made me blush, and moments that made me swoon... simply said he was a all around good dude!! I got a kick out of his feisty counterpart, she had no trouble keeping him on his toes, and wrapped around her little finger, they were so much fun to watch tangle! Highly recommend you get your hands on this one, it's sure to leave you satisfied!

I requested an advanced copy of this title, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
