Two people, two broken hearts, meet and in so doing they slowly give each other the benefit of the doubt and what unravels could either make or destroy them. Joss is the doctor whose husband divorced her for a nurse in the same hospital where they work. Carson is the maintenance guy who does not like talking, but when they meet to set up air conditioning in the room Joss would be working in, the two set it off.
I loved how different they were. Whereas Joss was very accommodating, Carson was the one who never forgot the ill that people did to him. I am not a big fan of love at first sight in stories, but with this one, I could see just how their personalities blended to create that setting. Thank you NetGalley for the eARC. I'd recommend this as a short sweet romance that'll break your heart at some point but it's definitely worth the read.

Joss is a doctor at the hospital where Carson is a maintenance person. They meet when they are both working late in to the night. Both are characters that are likeable, and you want everything to work out for them.
A short but enjoyable read.

It was a good book. The romance was nice. The characters were alright. The storyline pretty generic but that a romance book for you.
