"I Think I Love You" was the perfect conclusion to the Oxford Series. Brit and Hunter's friendship
had been pointed out in previous books in the series and it had been hinted that Brit and Hunter's feeling for each other were more then that of best friends. Watching their relationship evolve in "I Think I Love You" from best friend to lovers to soul mates was a fun and passionate journey to go on as they were supported by the characters in the previous Oxford Series as well as those from the Stiletto Series.

Lauren Layne's I Think I Love You is pure friends-to-lovers gold. Following Hunter and Brit as they traverse the different stages in their budding relationship was perfection. From "we're just friends" to "where'd the attraction come from" to "fuck it, I want more"... I friggin' loved every damn moment.

From the time they appeared in Layne's I Knew You Were Trouble, I was chomping at the bit for Hunter and Brit's story. And knowing that the Oxford series was winding down, I crossed my fingers that Lauren would grace us with one more book in the beloved series. Imagine my excitement when this little beauty popped up onto my radar. I may or may not have squealed. It took all my willpower to not devour I Think I Love You in record time. When it was finally time to start it, I was up until the wee hours of the morning because I couldn't stop reading. I was enthralled and enamored from the first page to the very end of the epilogue.

Tired of being friend-zoned, Brit came up with the brilliant plan to ask Hunter, her best guy friend, to teach her the ways of seduction. Of course Hunter initially scoffs at the idea of Brit not being able to find love. But when it looks like Brit is moving on to the office jerk, Hunter forgets his initial doubts and decides to help her. One thing leads to another and the best friends find themselves trying to come to terms with the not-so sudden attraction between them. I loved them. The sexual tension and chemistry between them were fabulous. That first spark of attraction and the inevitable jealously that follows... I happily devoured it all.

Can we talk about that epilogue?! I originally want every series to end like that. As sad as I am to see the Oxford series coming to an end, I couldn't have asked for more. Loved every bit of it. And yay for me... I still have the first couple of books in Layne's Love, Sex & Stiletto series to read, so it's not quite over for me. Sweet!

I was sad to see this series end; however, this last installment of The Oxford series is wrapped up beautifully. Brit and Hunter’s relationship is unique. Best friends who will do anything for the other including show the other how to seduce men. Brit can’t seem to get it right and decides it’s her, something is wrong with her. It has to be her because men don’t see her as anything other than a pal. Hunter doesn’t mind helping his bestie out but when he starts to see her in a different light, it may be a little hard to show her how to become a seductress. She may give off pal vibes to men, but he doesn’t mind when he realizes he wants her attention to be on him.

Hunter’s family cracked me up but it’s the relationship this couple has already formed that made their story special. Friends to lovers, told in dual points of view, perfect for a vacation read. I really enjoyed that all the other couples make an appearance and we get to catch up with this family of friends.

Oxford #5 Okay this is the last Oxford novel and I know I've said that before but I mean it this time. The final couple finally realizes their potential. Brit Robbins is tired of being every guys friend, he latest break up with a loser momma's boy was a real eye opener. Hunter Cross couldn't ask for a better friend than Brit but when she asks him to give her lesson on how to seduce a guy she just may be pushing the limit. He hesitantly agrees because it's better if comes from him, right? Hunter almost immediately starts to doubt the logic in the plan especially when he start to have thoughts about Brit that he's never had before and suddenly the thought of her doing any of this for another guy makes him feel jealous. Brit is learning a bunch from Hunter she's also learned she loves her best friend, when their fake dating leads to a practice kiss they are both taken by surprise at how strongly they want each other. But love is never easy in Lauren Layne's world and insecurities and family emergencies threaten to get in the way of their HEA, mostly it's Hunter's hardheadedness.

Once again LL makes a perfect couple with humor and romance combined and some really sexy scenes. I really loved it, their friend to lovers romance was believable because I think it was always there, everyone else saw it but because neither Brit and Hunter went ready to see each other as anything but friends they couldn't see the love and the passion that could be there until they looked for it. The hardest part of that was not only them accepting it but admitting it to themselves. This was a bittersweet end and yes it's really the end this time there is a really nice tear jerking farewell at the end.

Brit and Hunter are best friends, but maybe they could be something more? JK obviously they'll be something more and I'll love every second of it because I love Lauren Layne. I've enjoyed The Oxford Series so much and I'm sad to see it end, but this was a satisfying love story to end on.

I am a Lauren Layne fan and have really enjoyed the Oxford series. I like a friends to lovers story but Brit and Hunter were more like siblings in my head and initially I had a difficult time seeing them as romantic partners. As the story progressed and the reader got a more in depth view of each of these characters, I was able to embrace the romance. Ms. Layne writes with her characteristic wit and her characters are always likable. This book stands alone but I recommend you treat yourself to the whole series.

Oh, how I loved this story! I was so excited to know that the Oxford series was book. Brit and Hunter's story did not disappoint. There's something about friends to lovers that I just can't get over, this story was no different.
I've always been intrigued with Hunter since we first learned about him. Lets just say I feel hard for Hunter in this story. Watching Hunter and Brit interact was so much fun. Seeing them navigate Brit's request to Hunter was hilariously awkward at first and then the magic happened. There was something about these two and I think it was the strong relationship of friends that created their amazing connection and made their story perfect for them.
I couldn't put their story down. It was exactly what I needed when I started to read their book and had me out of my book funk at the end of it.

Reading the last book in a series you have enjoyed is always bittersweet. While this series did start off as just ok for me, the books only got better and better.

I Think I Love You was the perfect ending to this series and I loved every bit of this book. This can be read as a standalone and it will make you fall in love with these characters so much that you will want to go back and read the other books.

I won't go into any details because the blurb pretty much tells you what to expect as for plot. However, it's how everything plays out that makes this book so good. It all sounds cliché - friends to lovers, he teaches her how to seduced and ends up being the one to be seduced in the end. But it's how Lauren plays this out that just sucks you in.

The sexiness, the playfulness, the teasing - all of the interactions between Brit and Hunter are so real and fluid. Lauren writes her characters to where everything just feels natural and true to life. Lauren's writing style is what makes her stories stand out from the rest and it's why I will always read her books.

Lauren makes falling in love so beautiful and sweet - it's impossible to not fall in love with her characters and their stories.

I apologize in advance, but I could not finish this book. The third person was really throwing me off and I really could not get into the characters voice.

Every time I open the cover of a Lauren Layne book I do so with a smile on my face. Why? Because I know for a fact that I’m about to experience a fun, romantic story that will take me away from the stresses of life and, that before it’s all over, I’ll be sighing over the characters, the story, and the romance. And, guess what…it happened again. This sweet friends to lovers story brought all the feels and also the heat!

Brit and Hunter are best friends. They hang out, they have fun, they support each other but they don’t see each other a possible romantic partners. So, when Brit needs Hunter to help her practice her seduction skills, they’re not worried about the situation getting out of hand. However, as the fake dates and flirtations start to stir feelings in both of them, their story really takes off. Both Brit an Hunter find themselves outside their comfort zone and soon enough they’re pushing against the inevitable pull of desire and love. Their chemistry is hot, their banter is fun, and these two are the perfect match. I loved these characters and was rooting for them to find their happily ever after from the very beginning.

Sadly, this is the last book in this series. It was good to see the other characters playing a role in this story and I was glad to leave this little tight-knit group of friends on a happy note. This is the kind of series that you can read over and over again and know that the characters will always touch your heart, there will always be a smile on your face, and you’ll end up feeling over he moon thanks to the lovely romance. As always, Ms. Layne spoke to my heart with this story and I can’t wait to see what she’ll share with us next!

Brit and Hunter are the cutest couple of best friends ever! They know the other person better than anyone else! What could go wrong when Brit needs Hunter’s help in the world of seduction?

I loved how strong and independent Brit is! Hunter is also equally amazing with his dashing personality and his kind heart!

Witty, charming, and delightfully romantic!

I Think I Love You is a passionate, friends-to-more RomCom about the determined and focused Brit who doesn’t want to be just one of the guys anymore and decides to undertake lessons in the art of seduction, and the sexy, considerate Hunter, who suddenly finds it harder and harder to keep his attraction for his best friend in check.

The writing is crisp and light. The characters, including all the supporting characters, are charismatic, fun-loving, and lovable. And the plot is a perfect blend of drama, heat, emotion, hilarious hijinks, sassy banter, unconditional friendship and true love.

I Think I Love You is the fifth and final story in the Oxford series, and even though it’s a little bittersweet to say goodbye to the characters we’ve come to know and love from the Stiletto and Oxford novels, it is nevertheless a lovely way to catch up on the whole gang and give Brit and Hunter the happy-ever-after ending they undoubtedly deserve.

YES, Yes, YES to another Lauren Layne book but oh so sad that it's the end of the Oxford series.

I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED "I Think I Love You". The dynamic and relationship/friendship between Brit and Hunter was AMAZING. Both of them were funny and adorable in their own way. I loved having all the past heroes/heroines come in and out of the book and how much their lives have changed or getting glimpse of their personalities again. I have loved every single book in the Stiletto and Oxford series and to think there will be no more is just heartbreaking. Thankfully they're all so DAMN good that they're books I will go back and read over and over again.

If you're new to Lauren Layne- you will NOT regret a second of any of her books. Once you start you will fly through all of her series/books because they're all that EASY to fall in love with. I look forward to many more books and new series to come from LL - as always, she is the BEST and hands down one of my favorite authors.

I have several books of this series on my TBR e-pile but read the last installment first thanks to NetGalley. Thoroughly enjoyed the friends to lovers story written by Lauren Layne. I'll definitely move the other stories up to the top of the pile!

I was very interested in this book because of the trope of fake dating. However, it was less of this and more . . . I don't even know. There was also a LOT of unwarranted jealousy from Hunter, I thought. This led to way more toxic masculinity that I could not deal with. I almost did not finish this book, but I pushed through it. The ending seemed way rushed. I did like the interactions with the characters from the past books though.

What a beautiful end to an amazing series! It was bittersweet to say goodbye to much loved characters, but Ms. Layne accomplished it in the best way... with her own take on the “friends to lovers” trope. Ms. Layne always delivers a wonderfully seductive, yet heartwarming story, and this was no exception. I will miss her Oxford/Stiletto series very much.

First off, let me say I love Lauren Layne's writing, but I'm not a huge fan of friends-to-lovers romance. Here's why, friends-to-lovers plot line can so awkward, because you don't know if you want to cross that line. If you cross that line you cannot return the place you were once at. So, we find Brit and Hunter at this perilous journey in I Think I Love You. Boy it was soooo awkward. However, I think it was made super awkward when Brit basically asked Hunter teacher her be a man-eater. Okay, she didn't say those words, but she wants to know how to catch the right kind of gentleman. Again the perils friends path in jeopardy.

As awkward it was to read the first half of the book, Lauren does capture the readers attention. She does make the story fun to read, with oh my gawd kind of moments, which makes the reads laugh at the situation. Those who have been with the series since the beginning are going to enjoy this story. Those who are picking up the series for the first time are still going to like story. Even though there's a lot of secondary characters in the story from previous books, you don't lose the focus which happens to be on Brit and Hunter. So, if you are one of those people who love that friends-to-lovers story, if will be one don't want to miss. Those who been the series from the get go you don't want leave before you finally get see Brit and Hunter together in I Think I Love You. Overall, it was a fun read. I was laughing and yes biting my nails at some point wondering if Hunter was going to man up and take charge of the situation.

This author has never written a book I didn’t love! Brit and Hunter’s story is no different. Plus one of my favorite tropes is friends to lovers. This book was romantic and fun! You will have a smile on your face reading this book from start to finish. You might have a romantic sigh or two escape also.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book provided by NetGalley.

First time reading a book by Lauren Layne and I’m happy to say it won’t be the last!

I THINK I LOVE YOU is the last book in the Oxford series, it can be read as a standalone or as part of the series. I personally skipped the previous books and jumped straight into this one—my name is impatient, nice to meet you—and never felt out of the loop. Characters from the previous books make appearances but there is really nothing spoiler-y. You could go read the other books in the series after reading this one if you wanted. I will definitely be doing that as soon as I have some free time because I fell in love with the characters who appeared in this book and Lauren Layne’s writing is lovely, how come no one told me before? Shame on you! You wanted Lauren’s books all to yourselves! But I understand why y’all did it… let’s move on.

The story itself is not one that I found very refreshing, it is actually a pretty classic friends-to-lovers romance with some office romance mixed in but it is great nonetheless. It is a fast-paced feel-good romance. You’ll feel all warm and fuzzy and content while your reading it and when you finish reading it as well.

The characters are not the most original either but I bet you’ll love them anyway. They are lovely and smart and funny and they are open to giving their relationship a shot unlike in other friends-to-lovers where the characters refuse to take the step.

All in all, I loved this book. It was a great escape for a couple of hours and it made me add yet another author to my list of auto-buy authors. If you need a short and sweet read to enjoy this summer then this book should be number one on your list.
