I love Lauren Layne. I love the entire Stilettos and Oxford clans. I'm in serious love with second chance romances, so I figured it was going to be pretty hard for me not to love I think I love you. I was right. I loved it. Witty, hot and fun, I Think I Love You is proof of why Lauren Layne is on my always-buy list.

I received an ARC of this book, via Net Galley, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

This was a really good read! The writing flowed well, and hooked me from the start. I love a friends to lovers romance, and this one did not disappoint! Hunter and Brit were great together, and their chemistry was hot! This was my first book in this series, so there were a lot of names mentioned that got a little bit confusing when they were all together, but for the most part wasn't a problem. I enjoyed Hunter and Brit's journey, and the love that they clearly had for one another evolve into something more. It definitely makes me want to go and read the rest of this series.

5+ stars. I knew I would like/enjoy I Think I Love You honestly
I didn't expect to Love it. I was so not disappointed.
From page 1 Lauren Layne and her characters Brie and Hunter
grabbed me and didn't let go.
And then there were the sub-characters all friends and co-workers.
I want to work at Oxford/Stiletto. The work environment is friendly. Very friendly all the staff are friends. Everyone likes each other (some maybe more than others) and supports each other. There is no shortage of romance. Some of the co-workers are married and starting families. Some are engaged and end up married by the end of the book.
Brie and Hunter are just hard to explain.
He is a bachelor that knows women. He has money and knows how to use it and enjoys his bachelor life.
He has an amazing best friend in Brie. She is there for him when he needs 'out' of a relationship. And there to just hang out.
But what they don't realize it is actually Hunter that causes Brie not to find 'the one'. Unintentially their relationship runs off any other guy that's interested.
Brie is sweet and funny. She is just a little uncertain of her own attraction to men and doesn't realize it really isn't 'her' it's 'him' as in Hunter. Who unknown to both of them is standing in the wings and causing the other guys to not get closer or romantic with Brie.
Finally the two realize that they are more into each other than they
thought and another whole ball of wax starts. There's a little drama that ends up worked out neatly in the end and there is a great
Happily Ever After.

I Think I Love You is part of a series. But it is stand alone.
Be prepared when you read it you'll want to read the others.
Each of the sub characters have a charisma that will draw you in and keep you wanting to read each of their stories.

I have to say that this book and this author has made it's way to the top of my best reads for the year (so far).

If you like a good sweet romance you'll love this series.
Mama might blush a little there are a few bedroom scenes but they are subtle and classy.

I received a complimentary copy.

4 stars

I think I Love You by Lauren Layne is a very enjoyable friends to lovers romance.
The storyline is well written, the plot easy to follow and once you start you won't want to put it down.

Brit and Hunter have been in each others lives for a long time, they've been there for each other as best friends, never letting themselves think about the other in a romantic way as they didn't want to ruin their beautiful friendship.
But after Hunter agrees to help Brit with her dating life things start to change. Feelings are awoken and suddenly helping their best friend isn't what either one wants.
I loved watching Hunter and Brit move from friends to so much more. They share that something special that a lot of couples want but never find. It might have taken years for these two fall in love but once they open themselves up they made a beautiful couple and I loved them together.

Being a huge fan of both the Sex, Love & Stiletto Series and the Oxford Series revisiting the previous couples helped make this read even more memorable. I've loved watching their friendships grow, watching them find their soul mates and living the best life.
I'm going to miss the gang, it's truly been a joy getting to know them and I'm very thankful author Lauren Layne shared her words and characters with us.

Brit and Hunter's love story was perfection!

Friends that become lovers type of plots are never easy, the transition always make for the most incredible and funny books. But they also break your heart the most, because this two people who are perfect for each other are blinded by their friendship status and they miss the obvious for the longest times.

Brit was everyone's best friend type of girl and there was nothing wrong with that, it just got super lonely.
Being the one that never gets chosen is not a fun thing to go through, it made her feel like she was not good enough; that she would forever be stuck in the best friend department and no one would truly love her.

She knew Hunter was gorgeous but she never felt that way about him, or maybe she had never really looked into her feelings for him.

Hunter had never seen Brit in a different light, for him she was the best friend and the most amazing crazy woman he knew.

But after she shares her plan with him, things begin to slowly change. Seeing her as this seductive woman ignited something inside of him and now he can't seem to turn it off.

The problem is that taking this leap and choosing to go for this strong feeling would put at risk their friendship and they are both scared of what might happen if they realize it was all a mistake.

Would you risk everything for love?

I realized a couple of chapters into this book that I had read one of the previous Oxford series novels (I Wish You Were Mine) but obviously it didn't leave quite the impression on me that this one did. I Think I Love You is a really hot best friends to lovers story about Brit and Hunter. Of course when Brit asks Hunter to be her love coach you know exactly where this book is headed. It's still a a lot of fun watching it unfold. The cast of supporting character from the previous books add some fun to the mix as well. If you are a fan of the friends to lovers trope then this one is definitely worth checking out even as a stand alone.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I like Lauren Layne's light-hearted writing and she screwed up the Stiletto and Oxford series with I Think I Love You. Bringing the characters from the previous books to add an extra spice to the plot.
This time, it shows the story of the inseparable friends Brit and Hunter. She does not know the reason why she doesn't get a boyfriend and up asking her friend to help her with the seduction games and interpret the masculine signs of interest.
He finds the idea absurd at first, but when he imagines the risks that his friend can take in launching herself into this male world, he ends up accepting to help her.

But as they get closer, they realize that the heart and body are getting too involved in classes and are beginning to face the dilemmas of wanting to get involved with each other and not being reciprocated.

In a fun and dynamic way, the couple will gradually discover how special they really are for each other.
I liked the way she managed to make me feel every moment of connection and tension between them, I was stuck reading happily and I love to feel a little nostalgia at the epilogue.

I can't even tell you how excited I was to see this Oxford book released. I had thought the series was over and have grown to love these guys. I love friends-to-lovers stories and Brit and Hunter were so much fun to read about. I particularly like the fact that neither of them were attracted to each other previously and that this was an organic progression. As always, Layne brings the funny and the sexy, and I recommend this for anyone who loves a romantic comedy.

Brit and Hunter's story was the perfect way to say a final goodbye to the Stiletto and Oxford family. The very first LL book I read, was the first book in the Stiletto series, and I have been a loyal fan ever since. These are characters that you really come to love and their relationship dynamics were all unique and the perfect blend of sweet romance and sexy fun! I am always a sucker for a friends to lovers story, because I married my best friend (and everyone saw it coming a mile away, even though we didn't!) Reading the final pages and revisiting all of the wonderful couples that we as readers were rooting for, made me want to go back and read both of the series' again...I recommend you do to!

Can't wait to see what else LL has in store for her readers!

I'm always so excited to get a new LL book on my Kindle. It sits there until it comes up on my TBR list. Then when it's time to start reading it, I hesitate. Every time. You know why? Becuase I know 1) if I start reading it I won't be able to put it down and 2) Once I'm done reading it, I won't have an unread LL book on my Kindle. And that makes me sad.

Ok, that was such a book nerd problem. Anyways, like all the other Oxford books, this one was my favorite. I mean it this time. My favorite of the series. I loved Brit and Hunter. And I loved how they evolved into so much more than friends. Trying to not sound like too much of a broken record here, but I love LL's way of bringing in the supporting cast. The group of friends is just divine. I teared up reading LL's parting words about the series. All good things must come to an end, but I've loved this series sooo much. I will miss the men (and women) of Oxford.

Can I give I Think I Love You more than five stars? I’m not kidding. I freaking LOVED this book. Hunter and Brit’s best friends with benefits to more relationship was perfection. The banter. The swoons. The chemistry. The feels. AND THAT EPILOGUE. I’m so sad to see the Stiletto and Oxford series come to an end but damn if this didn't end it with a bang.

When Brit's latest boyfriend dumps her with the "let's just be friends" line she's heard countless times, she decides to enlist the help of her best friend, Hunter, to teach her the art of seduction. And I was hooked. Like, from page one. I Think I Love You was a one-sitting kind of read for me because, I swear, I'd read half the book before I'd realized it. I literally could not put it down. This isn't a new trope — and we all know how it's going to end — but it's how it got there that was special. And Hunter and Brit's story was just that. This is one of those books that I totally cheesy grinned my way through. I pretty much dare you to read it without a smile on your face. Even the parts with feels had me smiling through my teary eyes. And yes, I'm an emotional reader so there were definitely some tears.

I loved both Brit and Hunter and I Think I Loved you checked all my bookish boxes. Friends to lovers, friends with benefits, office romance? Check. Amazing characters, tons of chemistry, banter that made me laugh out loud? Check. Swoony romance, super hot sexy times, feels for days? Check. I couldn't ask for a better book. I could go on and on and on about how much I loved this book, but I'll spare you. I'll leave it at this — if you've not yet discovered the amazingness of Lauren's writing, start with Stiletto and work your way to Oxford once you've finished. You won't be sorry.

It's hard to say goodbye to the Stiletto and Oxford gang, but the epilogue made it a bit easier. Plus, I can always reread, right? And believe me when I say I will. Everything Lauren writes is absolute gold and I Think I Love You is the latest in a long list of books I fell head over heels in love with.

FAVORITE QUOTES

"I'm not all brokenhearted or anything. I'm not even that upset; it's just... You guys, this is the third time in a few months, and it's always the same. It's like I'm sprayed in man-repellant."

"I don't need to meet the One. I just want the potential. To make it past date three or four without getting the let's be friends talk."

"You said you trust me. Trust me on this. The key to being irresistible? Quit trying so damn hard to be everyone's best friend. Just be you."

This was what it meant to ache for a kiss. To want it so badly, a little piece of you would die if you didn't feel his lips on yours, like she couldn't survive if Hunter didn't kiss her...

I really enjoyed this book as it was a sweet with a bit of heat read. I haven’t yet read the previous Oxford/Stiletto books, but there was enough information on each of the couples that I didn’t feel totally lost.

I found myself annoyed by Hunter's "I won''t make a good long-term boyfriend" stance. If he isn’t interested.... It seemed everyone else knew that Brittany was the right woman for him, but he really didn’t want to see it. This book is the standard Friends to Lovers plot theme where one asks the other for help to get a mate, and that’s when it becomes apparent they are a perfect match.

This is a great poolside read with a glass of wine at your side!

Thank you to Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review an ARC of this book and I am providing my honest review.

This was a fun little book! My actual rating is closer to 3.5 stars but I have decided to round up. I knew I would want to read this book as soon as I saw it. I have had a great time with the Oxford series so far so I had to see how everything would wrap up. This book is the fourth book in the Oxford series but it works perfectly well as a stand alone. This wasn't my favorite book in the series but I thought that it was a very enjoyable and solid story.

I thought that this was a well done friends to lovers story. Brit and Hunter are best buds and often tell others that they see each other as siblings. Brit tends to be pushed to the friend zone whenever she tries to start a relationship and she cannot figure out what she is doing wrong. She decides that she needs a man's perspective to help her seduce future potential suitors so she asks Hunter for instruction. You can probably guess how that is going to work out.

The story was pretty predictable in some ways but it was still a lot of fun to read. Even though I knew going in that Brit and Hunter were going to fall for each other, watching it happen was an enjoyable experience. I did think that it was a little strange how both of them felt no chemistry with each other but everything changed suddenly for both of them at the same time. Who knows...maybe it really happens like that. I do know that it great to watch them as the sparks started to fly.

I did like Brit and Hunter as a couple and individually as characters. Brit is ready for a relationship and isn't afraid to let others know. She knew what she wanted and was willing to do the work to make it happen. Hunter is happy with his life the way it is. He has some great friends including Brit and dates when he wants. Hunter does make some bad decisions in this book that did make me cringe more than a bit. As a couple, they worked really well. They knew each other really well and were very comfortable with each other. There were some pretty steamy scenes in this one.

I would recommend this book to fans of contemporary romance. This book had a lot of great elements including great characters, fun banter, heartfelt moments, and a bit of heat. I had a great time watching Brit and Hunter find their happily ever after. I look forward to reading more from Lauren Layne soon.

I received an advance reader edition of this book from Random House Publishing Group - Loveswept via NetGalley.

I've only read one other book in the Oxford series but reading the final book has me moving the rest of the series to the top of my TBR.

I love a good friends to lovers story and I feel like everyone has felt like Brit at one time or another. Why am I constantly getting friend-zoned? Why don't I feel a spark with anyone even though I go on regular enough dates? Good for Brit that her male BFF can give her advice about how to be right? I loved everything about the lessons that Hunter and Brit had. This book had just the right amount of angst that kept me reading until I was bleary eyed and exhausted.

The ending made me want to read all about the Stiletto and Oxford crews as soon as possible! I'm sure once I've read the books before this one, I'll be super sad that this is the end of the Oxford series.

You know what … this story was ridiculously fun! These two friends were fiery fun. They sparked, as friends, as more and then as much more. The gist of the story is Brit is lost in the romance department. She just really doesn’t understand why every single time she tries to date someone, she gets put in the friend box. So she talks her best friend Hunter for advice and pointers. And to do so, they have to actually pretend date. Hunter has no problem with this because he is absolutely sure nothing will develop from it … let the games begin LOL

This is one of the best friends to lovers stories I have read in a while. It was fun and easy and not overly dramatic. It was charming and sexy and full of heart. And best of all, we have our friends from Stilettos & Oxford popping in and out for a visit into the story. *sigh* that made me miss them all the much more! I hope this isn’t the end for these guys/gals. I know the author tells us it is and the Epilogue does kinda solidify that, but I will always hold out hope :)

I the last book of her Stiletto and Oxford series, Lauren Layne doesn't disappoint. Hunter and Brit have been friends since the beginning. Brit is tired of being alone. As she sees her friends find that someone special. She blames it on herself that she's still single. So why not ask her best friend Hunter to help. She needs to push past that friend zone with guys. As he starts to teach her how to seduce a guy, something is off. Watching Brit with other guys starts to bother him. Slowly he sees he wants to be the one she catches. But as things progress and obstacles are thrown at them will they be able to be together. Can best friends end up in love? And if you like this book I suggest you read them all their good stand alone but the series is great.

Lauren Layne hits all the perfect notes, mixing humor and passion in "I Think I love You". A fun, sexy contemporary read for current and new fans of Layne.

I finished this book in one sitting and holy heck the FEELS, in an I-love-this-series-I'm-so-sad-it's-the-end nostalgia kind of way.

You can always count on Lauren Layne for fully developed characters with actual human flaws and one heck of a slow burn (plus just a bit of awesome steam that somehow manages to be entirely explicit but also not at all graphic at the same time), but I Think I Love You surpassed my expectations. I loved the previous books in the Stiletto/Oxford universe, and Brit and Hunter's story is a wonderful culmination. I've grown attached to all of the supporting characters and I'm both sad their stories are "over" because they have all been told and happy for them, living on in book world bliss.

I highly recommend this book, and even better, just bingeing the whole series. Lauren's built one heck of a rich world. Each is a standalone and you can skip around as needed, but I think you get the most enjoyment from reading in order.

I’m going to add my two cents here, since I also read this book.

It would appear that Samantha didn’t love I Think I Love You as much as I did. That could be because a) I’m a fervent Lauren Layne fan and b) I devoured the entire series and wondered if and when Brit and Hunter would get their own book.

That said, I would give this one 4 Stars!

****************************************************************

Brit is tired of always being friend-zoned by men. Her dating life is getting worst and she needs a total makeover. She quickly tries to enlist her best friend, Hunter, to help her in the art of seduction. Having a male best friend should make this goal easy but spending so much time together quickly blurs the lines of friendship for them.

This is the first book in this series that I have read and crazy enough it is the last book in the series. While it is a cute and funny romance, it didn’t necessarily wow me. I come to expect the right blend of romance and humor with Ms. Layne’s book. This just fell a bit short.

Maybe because I didn’t read the previous books in this series, I didn’t know the vibe between Brit and Hunter. I have to say in this book the chemistry is lacking. They continuously talk about each other as best friends/ brother & sister for the first half of the book. When they finally kiss, it is hot but the author does the job of telling us that it is hot instead of showing us. I think that made it hard for me to switch off the friendship vibe I got from the first half. Readers need to ‘see’ why best friends work well as lovers.

There is conflict that is kind of petty in my opinion. I would like to think that since these two are best friends they would have communicated better once they started a relationship. Brit is so easy going and nice, she just brushes off whatever Hunter did. He should have worked to get her back. Down to the very end she is more of a best friend and even lover to him which slightly annoyed me.

Despite my misgivings with this particular story, I’m so curious to read the previous additions to the series. The other characters are all present in the story and some of them have big personalities that I’m drawn too.

Overall, if you want a quick and light hearted romcon this the book for you.

~ Samantha
