"Wild Hunger" from The Phoenix Pack Series by Suzanne Wright is seriously a page-turner, and I'm not even kidding! If you're into paranormal romance and urban fantasy, this one's a must-read. It's got all the supernatural creatures, steamy romance, and action-packed moments you could wish for. The chemistry between the characters is off the charts, and the witty banter? On point! Suzanne Wright nails that perfect balance between romance and a kick-butt storyline. So, if you're up for a wild ride with shifters, vampires, and a whole lot of sizzling tension, this book's got your back. Trust me, you won't be disappointed.

This one was actually pretty good. The past few books have been very similar, but finally this one had different elements that made it very refreshing. I loved that Trick had no hang ups and was really open and happy to a mating, and the family dynamic that Frankie had with her grandparents. And the mysterious murder suicide was another really interesting aspect.

Overall I enjoyed this one! It brought some freshness to the past few books that the author has put out. The formula has been getting a little stale (at least for me).

Trick and Frankie's story was really good. I knew almost immediately who was involved in hurting Frankie's past, but it was good to read through the story and find out how it all happened.

I like that Frankie had to learn about herself and her wolf half after reconnecting with the Phoenix Pack.

This one worked for me.

What kind I say about Wild Hunger the 7th book in the Phoenix Pack series, Except I absolutely loved this book. Ever since I found this author totally by accident, I couldn’t get my hands on her book and read them quick enough.

Wild Hunger was fast-paced, with chemistry that lit the pages on fire. The plot was entertaining and fun.

Wild Hunger a great paranormal romance that will share to please any reader of this genre. High marks.

Suzanne has done it again. Wonderful story, awesome action scenes, sensual and hot sex scenes and we get to follow up with all of our favorite Phoenix and Mercury pack teams.

Frankie is an accomplished artist..sure her art is dark, but it sells and it tells a story "sort of"..she enjoys her life with the humans and tolerates her grandparents attitudes towards her..when she realizes that there is a large part of her life that is missing..will she have the courage to face her past and more importantly, will she have the courage to accept her deep feelings for the sexy man she barely remembers.

Trick has always been broody and he loves that his pack mates have found their mates..he cant wait to find his mate and feels prepared to accept not only her, but the electric pull that will pull them together. When he is reunited with a friend from his old pack..he is utterly and completely addicted to her..he is committed to helping her embrace her new family and how to make peace with the tragedy of her parents death.

I love the relationship between Trick and Frankie. There was no drama or misunderstandings..Trick knew who she was and had no doubt about it..once Frankie determined they were mates..she accepted it and dealt with it. Tackling Tricks past was so smooth and seeing how that connected to Frankie's (indirectly) is genius. Add to that our new nemesis, her family issues and her parents murder/ suicide, weaved a tale that had me on edge through the whole book. Normally I'd skip ahead to see if I was right about "whodunit", but I wanted to anticipation to build and feel the angst of watching the story come together. How these stories come to light in Suzanne's mind is mindboggling.

Loved this story, recommend it..guarantee that you'll love it too.

I loved the way Trick handled and took care of Frankie. His dark side was sweet and tempting when around her. I loved this book and can't wait to read more by Mrs. Wright.

Another great Phoenix Pack book! I really liked Frankie, she is an artist who makes amazing sculptures and has been separated from other shifters most of her life due to tragic circumstances. Her romance with Trick is actually pretty mellow compared to others, but the circumstances surrounding them is pretty crazy. The have not just one but two dangers to face.

As usual the story is sexy, exciting, and funny. Super entertaining! I can't wait for the next one.

Held my full attention the whole time I was reading. Love how all the previous characters were in the book. Action packed but also displays good family loyalty, which I love in books!!

This is the seventh book in the Phoenix pack series. My love for this series grows with each new book and new addition to the pack. This is Trick and Frankie's story. Their mating was very low angst compared to the other couples in pack because Trick has always been ready for his mate and Frankie is half shifter. They do have to deal with Frankie's human family who have been lying to her for her whole life. This book had all the great elements of a Suzanne Wright story plus added mystery surrounding Frankie's past.
Love this series and loved this book. Can't wait until we get Dom's story.

This book has everything I love about a Suzanne Wright book. However, in my opinion, I thought there could’ve been more pack interaction. But that’s probably because I just really love Taryn and Roni. I mean who doesn’t want more mischievous girl bonding, am I right? I loved Frankie as a whole and the banter between her and Trick was very humorous. I really enjoyed her character’s artsy nature. And I throughly enjoyed getting to understand Trick’s character better. In the previous books I felt we didn’t really see as much of him, besides book 4. The action scenes, as always, leave you unable to put down the book. And I don’t really have to say anything about the steamy scenes, because we all know they’re good. If you enjoyed any of Suzanne Wright’s previous books, I’m certain you’ll enjoy this one. If there’s one thing I can say about this series, is that it’s consistent. If you like it, you’ll continue to like it, and if you don’t like the series why have you read up to book 7? Honestly, I would just love a side story of all the girls in a shifter gang, causing mayhem, and being reckless. But that’s wishful thinking. I’ll probably end up re-reading this book and liking it more than the first time. So, that has to mean something. Overall, this is a well written book that is easy to follow and leaves you wanting the next installment as soon as possible.

This was a really good addition to the series and while I enjoyed it. it was not my favorite in the series it was still a good read with a good storyline it just was not as action packed as some of the previous books I really liked the characters they were so good together and had great chemistry. Another great read.

I love these wolves so much, its so sad there is only one left single. But I think that Suzanne Wright has done so well with this entire series that I can read these books over and over and fall in love with all the characters every time.

Trick was really sweet, kind and sexy, and I am so happy he got his HEA. I will admit that this story was a bit more intense than some of the previous ones, but overall still a really good time with some awesome guys.

Can't wait for Dominic's story

I really loved this book. It was a great addition to the series. Trick and Frankie are both awesome and interesting characters. I really couldn't figure out who the bad guy was until the end.

I absolutely loved this book. Like every single freaking one by this author. I swear she is the queen of paranormal romance, they are just so good.
I read this book all at once because I couldn't wait for it to come out, and since then I have already read it twice.
I loved the characters and they were the perfect match for each other, and I absolutely loved the storyline.
I don't really know what else to say because for me, Suzanne Wright is an automatic buy, I sometimes buy her books before even reading the plot. She is just that awesome. So I really really recommend this book.

"I know you're feeling like you're being pulled in different directions, but I'm the one person you don't have to try to please, because you please my by just existing. You're my priority."
I love this series. Suzanne Wright writes each main character in such a way that they have a distinctiveness from each other. None of the characters throughout this series are ever too similar. Each have their own personalities and struggles, that there is no way the stories feel like they're on repeat. No repetition here. Each story leaves the reader to want more but at the same time, has us being able to see the story line without any confusion of past characters.

In Wild Hunger, we finally get Trick's story. And what was very different from his character in this series is that he knew from the very beginning that Frankie (the female lead, obviously) was his mate. But I have to give it to the guy...or wolf... he was slick. He was smooth. He was sweet. He was protective. He was hot! See, Trick had been waiting a long time for his mate--almost gave up hope of finding her--so he wasn't about to screw it up by going to fast.
“Something inside him roared to life, and a strange possessiveness began to viciously claw at his gut and tighten his chest. It was as primal and basic as the need that twisted his stomach.”

Frankie was a good match for my boy Trick. She was feisty and kind and talented. She was a dominant wolf but not one that was overly so, where her wolf was more distinguished than herself. I'd say they were in perfect balance with each other. There was a point when reading this book that I just wanted to go back and hold the little Frankie, protect her. She (little Frankie) witnessed something very very terrible and sad. Though she can not remember her life before coming to live with her maternal grandparents, she still struggles to find answers, understandably so. Because she has no recollection of her life before living with her grandparents, she doesn't remember her pack mates and family. But I really love how they are all patient with her, accepting...Well everyone but Greta, but it wouldn't be the same without that old grouch there with her comments. Plus it was awesome catching up with the members of the Phoenix and Mercury pack.
This book was definitely worth the read. It had just the right amount of mystery, fight, love, sexiness, laughs, and character growth.
