I’ll never get tired of these stories. Suzanne Wright could write a million more and I’d read every single one! I couldn’t believe my luck when I realized this sexy gem was actually “read and listen free” in Kindle Unlimited! That’s freaking amazing!!

For whatever reason, I didn't expect Trick's story to be so sweet. I swooned so much. He's such a thoughtful and sweet mate. Gah! Love him! He just jumped to my second favorite alpha of the bunch. No one will ever top Trey. IJS!

Here's the breakdown: Frankie Newman is unaware she has long lost family until a phone call from her aunt leads her to question the connection. The revelation of family she never knew existed sets off a series of events that changes her life drastically. In the best ways.
What I loved:
Errmmm....Trick. See above. LOL Seriously he was unbelievably amazing. The insta factor is always a favorite of mine, as well. Trick is protective, thoughtful, caring, and so much more grounded than I anticipated. I love those types of sweet surprises.
The plot is well planned, though it teensy bit convoluted at the end.
It is obviously HOT AF, cause that's the author's MO. She excels at delivering a fantastic PNR romance that will set kindles ablaze....each and every time!

My only real issue with this story is that fact that is was repetitive in place. Like...noticeably repetitive. I would have preferred a shorter version than hearing the same thing multiple times.
Other than that, this is another superb addition. I'm already looking forward to more!

2.5/5.0

Obviously my opinion is not the norm when it comes to this book. Admittedly, I have not read the previous books in this series. In fact it is the first book I have read from this author - so, maybe things may have been better if I had more of a backstory into the world, characters etc. Although it was obvious I was missing relationships and stories from previous books, I don’t think it affected my opinion of this book to a large degree, however.

The writing was fine, the story flowed smoothly but it was just generic, and often rather boring. There wasn’t anything new or especially interesting in the overall plot. It was just like the million other shifter stories already written and read out there.

Oddly enough the one area that was different was also the area that was the most confusing and just didn’t work well. I just didn’t get the ‘once gay now he’s not... bisexual but now he’s found his mate he’s changed’ stuff off-putting. In fact, much of the conflict and arc is based on whether someone who was gay can suddenly be totally hetero. (In this case, more than one character has decidedly done just that.) Eh..... for me it just made a muddle.

I also didn’t care for the way Trick’s sweet, teasing, loving personality changed when it came to sex. Telling Frankie what she will and won’t do and demanding she do what he wants whether she wants it or not did not sit well. Of course after, the fact she ends up liking it afterward should make it all just fine. Uh... no.

I do think the authors writes well and obviously MANY people love her books so I may try another to see if this is just a one-time fluke... We’ll see.

Francesca, aka Frankie, Newman knows a lot about her mother but not much about her father as he is the reason that she grew up with her grandparents after, according to them he killed her mother then himself. However, the truth could be something different then what Frankie has been told by her grandparents. When a member of the pack that her mother and father belonged to contacts her due to one pack member being on her deathbed, will Frankie go and see if she can get some answers? Could this meeting just bring more questions? Or will it be a chance for a new chapter in Frankie’s life? Then again, what will her grandparents and uncle say?

Trick Hardy is the very definition of an alpha male. He has for all intents and purposes given up hopes of finding his mate, but when he sees Frankie at a meeting with her Aunt, he knew that Frankie was his true mate. He didn’t want to freak her out by telling her that right away and he promised her Aunt he wouldn’t do that. He did, however, make sure that she knew he wasn’t going anywhere and that she was important to him, he let her set the pace but when something threatens to harm her all bets are off.

This book is full of adventure, romance, suspense, and a bit of deceit with a twist of empowerment. The way that the characters play off one another is just the best, I could read this book repeatedly. Mrs. Wright knows just how to bring the readers into the book as if they were characters in the book the whole time. Mrs. Wright has found another great fan in this reader and I can’t wait to read more from her.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

I love Suzanne Wright's Phoenix/Mercury pack books, so this review is biased.

While this followed the same formula as the other books, to me it also slightly refreshing. I loved Trick and Frankie together. Frankie kept her independence and dominance while Trick was pursuing her. Also, she was funny and smart, everything I love in Heroine.

I loved that Trick took a different tactic to pursue her. How sure he was that she was his true mate but wasn't completely overbearing. He took her feelings and needs to adjust his wooing approach.

The underlying conflict with family and enemies was interesting. Everything was resolved a bit too quickly but still the storygrabbed you. A fun quick easy read.

Thanks Netgalley for the ARC.

Frankie is stuck between a rock and a hard place. She just found out she has a side of her family that she had no clue existed and when she confronts the family she does know... they want her to stay very far away from her newly found family.

Luckily for Trick, Frankie makes her own decisions and is not afraid to find out just why her new found family has stayed away for so long. Can Trick convince Frankie to accept her wild side and live with him happily every after? Read and find out!

I voluntarily read and advanced review copy of this book

Overall this book was great and for a great price. It was packed with heat, romance, action, suspense and mystery. I can honestly say that I thought I had it figured out and while I knew they why, I was shocked to see who ended up doing the horrible deeds of the past.

These books definitely keep me on my toes! Just when I think I have the “formula” down, they throw me a curve ball. The ending of this book kind of broke my head.

Frankie has been raised by her human uncle and grandparents since the unthinkable happened and her shifter father killed his human mate (her mother). One email from the Phoenix Pack later, however, and her entire world has tilted. Everything she has been told by her family is, apparently, a lie. The pack wanted to help her (her grandparents kept her away from them), she has living relatives with the pack (she was never told about them), and they are not the monsters she’s been led to believe.

The trigger for said email is the declining health of her father’s mother. Since she’s always been an outcast of sorts, she embraces the challenge of reconnecting with the pack (against her grandparents’ wishes). With it, comes the re-introduction to Trick. She apparently knew him growing gup but meeting him again comes with some unintended consequences. Trick immediately knows that she is his fated mate but also knows she is being thrown into the deep end all at once. Deciding to take their time, they are also navigating some pack politics, even more lies and deception, and Frankie’s repressed memories of her parents’ death.

While this couple certainly encounter some roadblocks to their happiness, they manage to get there by the end of the book. We are left with a very satisfying HEA and some resolution to the mystery throughout the book.

The Phoenix Pack never, ever disappoints!

Trick and Frankie's story surprised me in a lot of ways. Wright stretched her writing wings a bit on this one and gave readers a story that was touching and endearing while remaining extremely funny. This book was unpredictable in a way that I haven't seem from Wright before. Seriously, Wright's writing just keeps getting better and better.

I wasn't quite ready for how much I adored Trick in Wild Hunger. In previous books, he always seemed a bit on the periphery, almost like an outsider. In this book, though, he was all protective and honest with Frankie right up front. I love that he accepted his bond with her from the very first meeting of their reintroduction. He is crazy possessive of her in the best possible way!

Frankie...geez, what can I say about Frankie. She is an artist who sculpts really dark stuff. Like creepy, nightmarish stuff. I LOVE THAT. She has always been a bit separate from her Grandparents and Uncle, who raised her after her parents were killed. Frankie learns that her family has been lying to her about the cause of her parents' deaths and it sends her into a bit of an emotional tailspin (as it should). Frankie never loses her gumption, though. She's tough and strong and totally an awesome heroine.

Together Frankie and Trick create this loving and protective bond that is just so incredibly divine. They are fated mates, but also so much more. Yin and yang, perfectly balanced. This book should NOT be missed! 4.5 stars!

I am a huge fan of Suzanne's writing. I loved all of her books I've read so far and this one was no different. Sure, her books often resemble one another, but that doesn't change a thing for me. I know that when I pick a book by Suzanne Wright, I won't be disappointed. I always end up loving her alpha males, strong and witty heroines and the stories she tells us, even if they seem similar sometimes.

I enjoyed reading Trick and Frankie's story too. I liked the fact that they didn't fight their mating bond, like some couples before them did. Trick new right away that Frankie was his mate, but knowing she was raised by humans and might not recognize the bond right away, he didn't push her. He gave her time and with his actions showed her that he was there for her. They were great together too. I really liked them both.

The plot was interesting too. I enjoyed reading it and would recommend this book (and series) to everyone who likes paranormal romance :)

Wild Hunger was an amazing adventure. I'm so glad they all found their way back together. Trials and tribulations are only well fought when you know you're fighting to get back to those you love and this story has plenty of that. The love, family, and togetherness made for a good story. I did have a hard time with the bouncing back and forth between characters in a chapter. A bit of warning would be great, otherwise nice.

Another Phoenix Pack book, another great read from Suzanne Wright. I really enjoyed Trick and Frankie's mating dance. There was no - oh I don't want to, etc .... They took their time and had a relationship, and learned about each other. It was refreshing, and real. The interesting part of this story was that Trick was paired with a female. Throughout most of the series it seemed his mate would definitely be a male. The good thing is this was not shied away from, and it was addressed.

I have been reading Suzanne Wright from the beginning and will continue to read her. She never disappoints.

I love this series and author and this was another fab addition to this series.
I fell in love with Trick, he was the perfect alpha male. He was strong, protective, totally open to Frankie and their mating bond. I loved that he listened and he heard Trick. This couple were off the charts smoking hot together. They really worked as individuals and as a couple and this is why I really do love this authors characters.

This was a fun read! A little difficult to get into as it's book 7 in the series (and it's only on Kindle, so I won't be able to read the rest of it), but once I realised that I was fine to follow along.
I really enjoyed the relationship between Trick and Frankie as well as their characters and how they found their way to each other. And the twist at the end was really neat and unexpected.
I love the author's Dark In You series and Wild Hunger delivered on all fronts:).

Apologize on late review. Have been in hospital.
I just love Suzanne Wright. She is one of my favorite authors. This is my favorite book so far and the one I have been waiting on!! I wasn't disappointed in the way things turned out. I loved Trick and Frankie.
Trick was supportive, sexy, dominant, and bad ass. Frankie was sassy and brave. I loved that she was open and honest. I also liked that they didn't fight the mating bond. Trick gave Frankie time to deal with everything going on in her life. They were great together. Definitely a one click to add to my arsenal and one I re-read over and over!

I love the paranormal genre!
While this is the 7th book in the series, I didn't feel too lost since each is a new couple. This was also my first book by this author and I was so not disappointed! I will be buying the entire series at some point! Loved the book!

Whilst being number 7 in the series this book can be read as a standalone .

Frankie Newman is a half wolf shifter ……….raised by her human grandparents after their murder/suicide deaths
of her parents …………... she knows little of shifters , living and working as a sculptor in the Human world . .
But one day she receives an email out of the blue , someone claiming to be related to her asks to meet up
and reconnect her to her shifter relatives/pack . Frankie is sceptical but decides to meet up in a
public place .
She soon discovers that the past is not all that it seems ………..she has been lied to for most of her life, danger lies in searching for the truth , but also the gift of love and belonging can be hers if she will just trust
her instincts .

This is a brilliant , enjoyable read with great characters...………..I look forward to more books in this series

I was given an arc of this book by NetGalley and the Publisher in exchange for an honest review which I am happy to provide .

This writer never fails to impress. Strong women and strong but not overbearing men - what's not to love about a romance like that.
