'Are You Thinking Again, Dear?' by Aliki Brandenberg is about a young crocodile named Charles who has a hard time paying attention to what's going on.

Young Charles is always thinking, but not necessarily about what he's supposed to be doing at the moment. This can get him in trouble at school. It also makes his parents worry because they want him to be safe. When his uncle visits, he has a slightly different opinion about Charles, and some good advice for him.

I liked this book and the message. It is important to be present, but it's also important to understand the differences our children can have. The book presents a sort of lesson for both young readers as well as for parents. The illustrations are fun,and so was the story.

I received a review copy of this ebook from Dover Publications and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this ebook.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Dover Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. What a whimsical story. A fun one to read, as most children can relate. Graphics are adorable. I am sure this will make children giggle but can be a stepping stone to a discussion on their behaviour. A solid 4.

Everyone knows a kid like this. You may even have one in your own family. Heck, you might be like this yourself; I am! teachers and other adults don't appreciate this too much, but sometimes it pays off in the future! This is a story I am sure is going to appeal to many children who are also absent minded. We're thinkers, it's what we do! And NO ONE should discourage it, just maybe direct it a bit!

This is a really cute book! The story is about Charles, who can't seem to keep his mind on what is necessary. We find out that his father and uncle are also "thinkers". The illustrations are done very well and children will love reading about Charles.
