Kerry Lonsdale has done it again. Highly recommend this author. I am going to read her other books now.

I'm getting the feeling that this type of "mystery" is not my cup of tea. "This type of mystery" being one that isn't truly suspenseful. If I want to read a suspense mystery, I want it to be keep me on the edge of my seat, turning the page, biting my nails, all those thrilling cliches. This series did none of that for me.
It was more of a casual stroll down mystery lane. Everything We Give was more mysterious and allotted more questions that I was interested in. So I guess if a book brings up questions that you want answered it's considered a mystery?

Anyway, Ian's story was interesting. Ribbons of interest were brought up in the previous two books so I was ready to hear the truth behind it all. And what a sad truth the story was. I like Ian more than Aimee or James, so naturally his story kept more of my interest. The flash backs brought a nice depth to the story, but I don't really understand what the purpose of Aimee's perspective was. Why bring her as an entire point of view in this book? Unless it was to close the series with her since she opened the series, but I think that's a weak reason to switch us back and forth with her perspective. Maybe it was to show their love for each other, but in my opinion, Ian loved Aimee more than Aimee loved Ian, so that didn't work for me either. I just don't like Aimee. Sorry about it. I even like Reese more than Aimee! That was a great little twist! Now I want Reese's story. She was interesting!

I keep giving Kerry Lonsdale book three stars and yet I keep giving them a try. Maybe she isn't my cup of tea. But I still have 2 more of her books to go, and then maybe I'll decide.

Loved the story and how the characters feel like people you know intimately. So very well written that you become engrossed and can't stop reading. Your emotions will go every which way throughout the book and you'll be sad that it ends. I highly recommend you give all of Kerry's books a try. This series is a great starting point!

I've read all three books in this series and I loved them all! The characters became real to me and became people I cared about. I highly recommend this series!! You will not be disappointed.

This is a fine and fitting and most satisfying conclusion to the Everything series. This is Ian's story.

I selected the first book of the series as an Amazon Kindle First Read, when it was published. I still can’t believe I selected such a clever and moving book (author’s debut), based on the summary alone. Sometimes, you get lucky.

For new readers: I strongly recommend that you read this series from the beginning: Everything We Keep (James's story) first, followed by Everything We Left Behind (Aimee's story), then settle in for Ian's story with Everything We Give. Read them as a binge! You will be in for a most satisfying treat. Kerry Lonsdale has created achingly memorable characters who are living with and working through extraordinary and heart-rending circumstances.

EVERYTHING WE GIVE by Kerry Lonsdale

This book was the perfect ending to the Everything series by Kerry Lonsdale.

It’s a very emotional story and started with the first book, Everything We Keep. It will take you to far away places and the many ups and downs in this story will keep you turning pages until the very last one. So many tears will be shed so have lots of kleenex handy. You will need them I assure you.

Ian is one man you will truly love. I cried with him and for him so many times. He sure went through a lot in his life. As a child and an adult. From his mother’s illness to his dad’s neglect you will root for this child and young man to have it all. All the happiness he deserves. With his wife, Aimee and his daughter Caty, by his side he can’t possibly go wrong.

He learns things about himself that he couldn’t as a child. He took so much responsibility on his young shoulders that it is a wonder he didn’t break. He had so many ups and downs and twists that no child should ever have to endure. But he became a strong man. A loving husband and a wonderful dad. I fell totally in love with Ian.

I felt so bad for what his mother went through. I had tons of empathy for her. Anyone who went through what she did is bound to have problems. She truly loved her husband and son but could not be the kind of person she wanted to be due to circumstances beyond her control.

This book had wonderful characters. Was beautifully told and was rich with love, tears and happiness. I loved it from start to finish. I was reading when I was suppose to be making potato salad. I just wanted to find out what happened next. It’s a wonderful yet sad and then again happy story of a boy who grows up to be a strong man. A family man with enough love to forgive anything.

A huge 5 stars from me.

Thank you to #NetGalley and #Lake Union for the ARC of this awesome book.

I highly recommend it. Just have lots of kleenex handy. I promise you will need them.

This was a bittersweet ending to an amazing series, I’m so sad to say goodbye to these characters that I’ve grown to love, but I feel that they were given a great closing. Very solid ending to a great series! I do highly, highly suggest reading these in order.

This book is difficult to rate and review. I just thought the book was okay. Part of that may be that I have not read the first two books in the series.

Ian's insecurities grated on my nerves and Aimee's contact with James made me angry. I agree with some of the other reviewers that this book does not work well as a stand alone...you need to have read the first two books to have a clearer picture.

I'm not sure this was a good use of my reading time. But might give the author another chance with a different book...especially if it's part of a series and I can read the first one.

Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

In my defense, I would not have asked to review this book if I had finished the first one first. This is just SO cheesy. I enjoyed the Ian flashbacks but that was all. His relationship with Aimee us just ridiculous and sickening and unbelievable. Nobody finds out about an ex-WIFE who was never mentioned before on that context, and then has sex with the dude 10 minutes later because they have already forgiven him. All problems in this book are solved by extremely lame sex. Just, ugh. I didn't read the second book of this trilogy and don't intend to. Probably done with this author. I like cheese, but I much prefer to eat it, not read it. Two stars only because I actually finished the book instead of just giving up.

This was a 4.5 star read for me. I simply adore the way Kerry Lonsdale tells a story. It took me a bit to get into this one, but that's totally on me It had been a while since I read book 1 and 2, so I had a hard time remembering some of the nuances of the story. So, I was a little lost for a bit. But Ms. Lonsdale did a great job of making sure you got enough of a backstory even if you didn't read the first two. By the end, I was so invested, and my heart hurt for Ian. This was moving tale, and really gives some closure to everyone's story.

I think this was my favorite book of the series. The way the author wove a somewhat suspenseful tale in a character-driven story was fascinating. It's a bit of a slower pace than I'm used to, but I liked these characters, so that wasn't a big deal. Thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for a copy of this ARC.

Many thanks to NetGalley, Lake Union Publishing, and Kerry Lonsdale for the opportunity to read and review the final installment of this series - it was so nice to delve back into these characters' world again. You definitely want to read the first two books - Everything We Keep and Everything We Left Behind. - to get the full impact. In fact, I wish I would have gone back and read them again to remember all the details.

This final book focuses more on Ian, happily married to Aimee and father to Caty. But he still struggles with his past - and this book brings that all into focus. He's estranged from his dad and doesn't know where his mom is, plus he holds an incredible amount of guilt because he feels responsible for the breakup of the family. Ian finally gets his dream assignment - to shoot pictures for National Geographic - but a clue to his mom's location may put that as well as his family in jeopardy.

A great series - part mystery, suspense, family drama - highly enjoyable!

Wow! Kerry Lonsdale amazed me with the second installment. I was nervous going in, because the first installment wow-ed me. And let me tell you , this book did not disappoint in anyway. I felt the continuation was a perfect flow to the first book ( there were flashbacks that were written perfectly, not overdone) , and because of the smooth transition , you did not feel like you lost time. Character development gained in my opinion, and you got to know the main characters even more than you would of imagined. I am looking forward to the third installment, so glad I found this authoress, her stories are remarkable.

This is a great book 3 in the Everything series and it's a very informative story of Ian and Aimee. We learn about Ian's childhood and his parents. It shows him becoming a husband and father in a series of flashbacks and his mother's mental illness. I liked how we learned about his life through the eyes of a child and how it effected his life growing up. Also we learned more about Aimee and her past. As Ian finally gets his chance to have his photos featured in National Geographic we learn so much about the wild horses of Spain and the Rapa das bestas. While this can be read as a stand alone, the characters will be so much richer if you have read Everything we Keep and Everything we left behind. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Interesting read on mental illness. Well written. First time I read a book from Kerry Lonsdale and found her a good writer.

This is the last installment of this series . While I loved the series as a whole, I felt like this book was not as exciting as the other two but I still enjoyed it and gave it 4 stars. The book gives us more insight on the background and brings us full circle.

I think each of the books in this series gets better. I wasn't initially enthused about the first book, "Everything We Keep". Thankfully soon after finishing #1, I had the chance to read the second, "Everything We Left Behind", and found it to be wonderful and helpful in making sense of the first title. I was hooked. Thus, when I had to chance to read the third, "Everything We Give", I jumped on it knowing that I had to find out what happens to Aimee and Ian. I wasn't disappointed.
This series builds nicely, and is best read in order to appreciate the experiences that the main characters go through to wind up where they are by the end of this book. There is just enough conflict in #3 to have kept me interested. It is less contrived than the first book, and really shows a deepening developement of style and research on the author's part. I continued to want to read about these characters and their unfolding story, particularly Ian's childhood. I have relished this love story and continued to root for them in spite of the many challenges they run up against. The conclusion was fitting and satisfying. While happy to finally know the whole story and bring it to a close, I kind of wish that I could have just a bit more of this couple and their love story. Who knows, perhaps Ms. Lonsdale will find another "Everything" in her.
I highly recommend this series, beginning at book #1, to solid and realistic romance fans. Plan to have the second and third books handy to be able to continue the saga. You won't want to have to wait like I did. If you have already read the previous books, pick this one up too. It didn't disappoint me, and I highly doubt that it will you either.
My thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this title.
