This is Ian’s story to tell and he tells it well. Ian is at the point in his life where he should be content; he’s got a loving wife, a wonderful daughter and the career he’s always dreamed of with the assignment of a lifetime on the immediate horizon. Yet, he’s broken from his childhood. He needs closure or at least to know what happened all those years ago.

Ms. Lonsdale does an excellent job of getting the reader to understand what it must be like growing up with a parent who has a debilitating mental illness. How as a child he thought it was his job to take care of her? How when things went terribly wrong he felt guilty.

Everything We Give is about forgiveness and hope but it’s about love as well.

You never know when you start a series if the following books will maintain the status quo, I had read Everything We Keep and loved it, this one was just an OK read. We follow Aimee, Ian and their little girl Kate thru Ian’s search for peace, closure and mending his relationship with his estranged mother and father. This was a quick book to read, unfortunately it just didn’t have many memorable moments to cling to. Not much mystery nor cliff hangers. I felt the story was superficial and didn’t really dive into the character development, it did try to latch onto the horses in Spain and that was very interesting, but then again, the personal relationships overshadowed the horses.
The best parts of the book were the chapters when Ian was recalling his childhood memories and would tell of his mother’s mental illness. I found those chapters to be the meat of the book and the best part. I’m glad I read it, I enjoyed it and will most likely pick up another book up by Ms. Lonsdale to finish out the trilogy.
I was given the opportunity to receive this book from Lake Union Publishing through NetGalley. The opinions expressed in this review are completely my own. This one gets 4**** stars.

I have been anxiously awaiting the 3rd and final book in the Everything series and Kerry Lonsdale did not let me down . I loved how she tied everything together in this last book but it wasn't a perfect end. If you have not, you would definitely want to read the first two prior to this one . I was so happy we finally got to hear Ians side of the story

I would like to thank netgalley and the author for the free ebook in exchange for an honest review.

This is book 3 of a 3 book series.
The first book- Everything We Keep
The second book- Everything we left behind

This final book of the trilogy is Ian's story. Ian had a very stressful and difficult childhood because of his mother. He is haunted byhis past. This book is where he has to make some difficult choices.

Aimee is in the book also, she even tells a few chapters.

There is drama, suspense, love and many emotions, it's difficult to talk about the book but not spoil it.

Ian loves and adores his family and they are the most important part of his life.

I turned off the kindle feeling satisfied with the book and the series, feeling the ending was just as it should be.

Book Three in the Everything Series and I must admit, I liked it much more thank Book 2, only because I was hoping so much for Ian and Aimee to have everything they wished for.

After James disappearance, Aimee married Ian and Ian finally found his happy ever after. Or so he thought. Then James is back on the scene, but not as James, he becomes Carlos and Ian is terrified that the love Aimee had for James would be rekindled and he would lose her.

This too is a book you really need to concentrate on, so sit back with a cuppa, and immerse yourself in the wonderful story writing of Kerry Lonsdale. You won't be disappointed. But you must read the previous two books as they all have connections that you need to know about.

Thanks to NetGalley and Lake Union Publishing for the opportunity to read and review this book.

EVERYTHING WE GIVE is the third and final book in the Everything series by Kerry Lonsdale. It was bittersweet to finish this one. I want to continue hearing Ian and Aimee's stories and it's sad for this to be over. However, Kerry did a fabulous job of giving Ian a voice and wrapping up the series.
I love that book 3 is Ian's story. We learned about Aimee and James so this was a nice way to get to know who Ian really is. Ian's story (and his mother's) is heart wrenching. The flashbacks to Ian's childhood really tug at the heartstrings and made me want to jump into the book to help him. Ian is an incredible person from his childhood to adulthood. There is no way not to be #teamian. And, his relationship with Aimee and the love that they have for one another is something that we should all be so fortunate to have. Beautiful descriptions of the wild horses are also an added delight.
Kerry knocked this one out of the park. I can't wait to see what is next for Kerry Lonsdale. Until then, I may just have to re-read the series. Thank you for the tremendous adventure this book took me on.

3.5/4 stars
Book 3 in the series evolves around James, Aimee and Ian. The character focus is on Ian, Aimee's husband. The book chapters rotate from Ian's childhood and to the present time. His childhood was everything but ideal and now he's trying to live a happy life with Aimee and learn to cope with his past. My heart broke reading his story growing up and the level of responsibility he assumed to help his Mother. I loved the story he was working on with his photography in Spain and reading about the town's tradition in keeping the wild horses safe and healthy. The ending was unexpected and wonderful.

I absolutely adored book 1 of this series but book 2 and 3 felt a little drawn out for me. I loved hearing more about the characters but felt there was unnecessary filler in this story. Similar to book 2 I found myself loving some parts while skimming through other parts. I'm glad I read it and I enjoy Londsale's writing for the most part so would consider reading her in the future.

Ian's story was so much more than I imagined! I hope that this series will continue, I don't think I'm through with it yet! Kerry Lonsdale writes a great story, if you haven't read this series, do it now! All three! You will not be disappointed!

I cannot believe that after finishing the third book in this series that the first thing I wanted to do was go reread the series starting with Book 1 to experience it all over again! Everything We Give is the perfect story for Ian and I loved how Kerry Lonsdale switched up the point of views with Past & Present along with Aimee.

What I love about this unconventional book series is how the author incorporates romance, love, friendship, family, along with identity disorder. This series is explosive and addicting that gave me chills, screaming out loud, along with falling in love with all the characters myself. Hopefully we get some more books starring some certain supporting characters next because I feel this cast of characters has so many more stories to tell.... Kerry Lonsdale PLEASE?????

The conclusion of the series of "Everything" from this most talented and beautiful writer. An amazing read filled with love, lies, and the secrets within families. Ian has it all---a successful career and a loving family but the mysteries of the past still elude him. An opportunity and decisions to close the circle and what choice he makes that will allow him to either keep or lose what he holds dear. A beautiful story and thank you for allowing me the opportunity to have read this title prior to publication --- I just loved it!

In October of 2016, I had the opportunity to be part of the BookSparks Fall Reading Challenge, which included Everything We Keep, the first book in a three-book series by author, Kerry Lonsdale (see review HERE).  The second book is Everything We Left Behind but unfortunately, I never had a chance to read it. Now that I've jumped ahead to book 3, you can bet I'll be jumping back to read book 2 so I can fill in all the blanks.

Today's post is about the third and final installment in the series, Everything We Give.  I highly recommend this series, it is such a blend of genres that it will appeal to a variety of readers - romance, mystery, suspense fiction - it's all there. The first book, Everything We Keep, was primarily from Aimee's perspective and was part mystery,  part love story.  Then came Everything We Left Behind, a story that brought readers current with Jamie, although Aimee and Ian were still in the mix.  In this third and final installment, Everything We Give, Ian was the focus.

This book was exactly as promised - UNPUTDOWNABLE.  That's right, I couldn't put it down and read it cover to cover.

Ian and Aimee are married and have a four year old daughter named Caty. He's a successful professional photographer and Aimee is expanding her coffee shop. Ian's marriage and career are successful, but he struggles with unresolved issues from his traumatic childhood.  There were some surprises in this story as readers follow along with Ian. The scenes were told alternating from the past to the present, and the flashbacks are acutely distressing and painful.

As a young boy, Ian loved his mother Sarah Collins, who suffered from mental illness. His father was largely absent and at times his childhood was dangerous and unsettling. Ian is haunted by his younger years and a mistake that he made driving his mother away and destroying his family.

Everything we Give totally wraps up all of the issues in the "Everything" series and it gives readers a great close-up view of Ian's life. There are a few surprising twists in the story line that made a lot of things make sense.   It was an emotional journey and experience that will stay with me for quite awhile - a perfect ending to the trilogy.

I received an advanced readers digital copy of this book from NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. I was not required to provide a positive review and this affected neither my opinion of the book, nor the content of my review!! Thank you NetGalley!

This is the third book in the series, focusing on Ian’s story. I really enjoyed this book. Reading about Ian’s childhood just broke my heart. It was fascinating to read. I liked this book a lot!

Wonderful final book in the trilogy. I hadn’t read the other two and was feeling lost so went back and read them first and then was able to truly enjoy this lovely read.

Sequels aren't usual as good as the first book, but Kerry Lonsdale killed it again with the Everything trilogy. To be honest, I will miss reading about Ian, Aimee, and James because they feel like close friends and family. Reading about Ian's past and present life gave me total understanding of why he stuck with Aimee, his need to be a successful photographer, and his reaction to James. I couldn't believe how tolerant he was, but it shows how much he loved Aimee and didn't want to live without her.

This entire trilogy was jam-packed with love stories, tragedies, surprise, and forgiveness. Start with Everything We Keep and go from there. You definitely won't be disappointed.

I received an Advance Review Copy of this book. All Opinions are my Own.

Thank you to the publisher, Kerry Lonsdale and Net Galley for the amazing opportunity to read this entire series . I loved this series from book one and have been eagerly awaiting this final book in the series. I highly recommend the entire series as its one of the best series I have read and each book tells the story of one of the three main characters Aimee, Jamie and Ian and ties together their story with the plot of the previous books.

In this third installment, Ian was the focus. This is his story. He was a favorite character of mine from the previous books, always the voice of reason and patient while loving Aimee through her troubles. He and Aimee are married now and have a four year old daughter. He's a successful photographer and Aimee's in the process of expanding her coffee shop business which she built from the ground up and is highly successful. Ian is happy with his new life except he is still struggling to deal with unresolved issues from his troubled childhood.
Alternating from the past of his childhood to the present we came to understand just how difficult his childhood was and how it framed his fears he lives with for his new family, As he embarks on his own personal journey to alleviate his guilt and fears, the reader is swept into his story. As Ian takes off for a mysterious assignment in Spain, the author entrances the reader with location descriptions that place the reader with the character and we experience all the rich sights and sounds of Spain. As he searches for his long lost Mother, his ex enters the story and seeks him out. She catches him in a vulnerable state and soon Aimee is on her way to Spain to intervene. The remaining story is to be savored by all readers as this outstanding series comes to a exciting conclusion with heartfelt compassion and new beginnings for all the characters.
I loved this final book and look forward to further works by this fine author. The mark of a great author is how the reader is swept into the story and this series is one with each book I could not put down. Its outstanding.

I read this wanting to see how Aimee, James, and Ian’s stories ended. I found this book to be “fine.” I enjoyed it more than “Everything We Left Behind” which I wasn’t crazy about and found it interesting to learn more about Ian, but I found myself wanting to see more about how things ended up for James and his family. Some of the storylines involving Lacy and the James connection just seemed a bit far fetched for me at times. The book just didn’t excite me terribly, which leads me to a three star review. I like Kerry Lonsdale and would try out additional books by her. Thank you to the publisher and Netgalley for giving me the chance to review this book.

Loved this book! It was the perfect story to complete the Everything series. The characters that we fell in love with in the first two books didn’t disappoint in this one. Lonsdale’s ability to capture mental illness and the pain and suffering it causes for families was realistic and relatable. Looking forward to her next book!

This book is the third installment of Kerry Lonsdale’s ‘Everything’ series. While in the first book we learn Aimee’s story, the second one is dedicated to James (Aimee’s childhood love). But now we finally get the conclusion we’ve been waiting for....Ian’s story!

I fell in love with this character in book #1. While I don’t want to give anything away, most readers are either #teamJames or #teamIan, I am 100% team Ian. To understand what I mean by that, you’ll have to read the first two books!!

I absolutely adored this book! After getting to know the characters and caring about each one, it was great to read about how their story concluded.

As with the first two books, this one gives us the perfect amount of insight into their lives. The emotion and chemistry between Aimee and Ian is unlike any other. I think what I liked best was the parts of the story that were told about Ian’s childhood. We learn just who Ian is, and It made me like him even more.

Lonsdale is a great author who knows how to suck you in, with just just enough to keep you hanging after each chapter, yearning to find out what happens.

This book is the perfect ending to a wonderful series by a terrific author. Highly recommend!!
