This was a wild ride. Every page held a new twist and keeps you guessing. I thoroughly enjoyed every one of them too.

I left a 3 star rating when I read this book 4 years ago but didn't write a formal review. I am marking the rating here to move this book off my shelf.

I really enjoyed Blood Type, and I was eager to read the next book in the series. K.A. Linde really likes the cliffhangers, so this second book could not come soon enough. One thing I will say is that I really appreciated the quick timeline for the publication of this series. I hate waiting for sequels (especially when there are cliffhangers involved!), so that was an added bonus.

This series is not a companion novel series - you must read each previous book in order to follow the next one. Blood Type, Blood Match, Blood Cure. This series started out as a story about a young girl who needs to make ends meet, but it turns into so much more. A deadly game of cat and mouse, a rebellion, an intense romance... this series has it all. I truly enjoyed reading more about Reyna, Beckham, their growing relationship (ahhh, such good chemistry, such good romance!), and the danger that lies at every turn. Blood Match takes the seeds that were planted in Blood Type and uproots them, throwing them aside. I loved seeing the world completely expand, and the plot take twists and turns that go beyond a linear trajectory. Blood Match is an excellent sequel to Blood Type, and trust me, you'll be wanting Blood Cure as soon as possible. I highly recommend reading this series if you enjoy sexy paranormal romance novels. I've reread the books many times in the last two years, and you will be too!

The surprises continue!
Captivating, consuming, I’m still impressed with this unique read.
Suspense, mystery, and intrigue as Reyna’s story unfolds.
This book 2 starts right where book 1 ends, and the story is getting better and I can’t wait for book 3!

Overall 4 stars

Warning, expect a cliffhanger. This is book two of the series and wow is all I can say. You are going to be taken for a ride and it may leave you feeling a little shell-shocked. The characters will have you wanting to know more about them, but the plot will have you turning the page and feeling forlorn at the end when you realize you read all the pages and there is no more to the story.
Mystery, secrets, intrigue...you'll find them all right here. The emotional toll this book takes is over the top and I have to know what will happen next. You are not going to be satisfied with this ending, but I'm hoping we will get everything we are desperately begging for in the next book. I can't wait for book 3 to come out, but until then, you need to one click this 4 star read today!
________
Well KA Linde has sure captured my attention with this series and this second book has blown up what I thought was going to happen. Reyna and Beckham's story continues in this twisted tale and now I can't wait to get the next story in this series because my heart is broken and I can't stop thinking about what could happen next! Blood Cure is going to be epic I can feel it!
Reyna is finally getting Beckham the way she has fantasized of... but when drama and mayhem rocket through there world it will leave all hopelessly devastated.
I have to know what happens next! I have to see what the final outcome will be and all the secrets that are lurking will be revealed... and hopefully some of the devastation we endured in this story will all just be a dream- one can only hope!
Get to one clicking to see what happens you don't want to miss this story! I would give this book a 4.5 stars and highly recommend to others for sure! Intense and passionate and so many layers,,, ahhh can't wait for the rest!
_________
Holy crap on a cracker this book couldn't come fast enough for me. We ended on a bit of a cliffhanger in book one.
Reyna has been captured and delivered up to the worst possible scenario. William, who is in charge of Visage is keeping her against her will. She is subjected to blood being taken and every other freedom imaginable. The only thing keeping her sane is dreaming of and trying to find a way to escape and reconnecting with Beckham.
This book took many twists and turns that you didn't see coming. Some parts seemed disjointed to me and didn't flow. But holy crap, did I still turn those pages. And just as you think things are finally falling into place and the good guys will win, we are dealt with another blow.
Wanna know what I am talking about? Definitely one-click this now.
I need Blood Cure (book #3) STAT!

My God! Oh my God! Of my effing God!!! I can't... I don't... I just... I have no words. This book... My God. I need book 3 like right now. The wait is going to kill me.

There isn't much I can say without spoiling anything. But if you've read Blood Type, I'm sure you're dying for this book. And it doesn't disappoint. At all. Wow. I'm still effed up over it. It is intense. And angsty. And suspenseful. And intriguing. And sexy. And Becks is everything!!! *swoon* Also, I'd wrap your Kindle in bubble wrap before finishing this one. Just saying. LOL!

If you haven't started this trilogy, I suggest you do so immediately. Especially if you're a fan of vampires. It. Is. So. Amazing.

After being taken by William Harrington and Visage and being tortured for weeks, Reyna Carpenter has been finally rescued by Elle. As the time passes, Reyna learns a lot more about Visage and Harrington. But can they really stop him?

I loved Blood Match and after the cliffhanger I need Blood Cure. This book has a lot of action and we learn a lot about Beckham's past, about the vampires' past and how they rose to power and about Elle. There are a lot of surprises and twists, but also a lot of drama, sweet and funny moments, and sexy scenes.

Reyna changed a lot. She isn't the same naive girl we met in the first book. She is much stronger and fierce and she isn't afraid to fight for what she believes and for the ones she loves.
Beckham is still the same dark and brooding vampire, but we learned a lot about is past, especially about his family and about what he did in the past.

K.A. Linde did a phenomenal job with Blood Match. This book hooked me from the first page and I couldn't stop reading until I reached that amazing cliffhanger. There are so many new characters and so much new information that will captivate your attention and will make you want more. I can't wait to read how Reyna and Beckham's story ends!

Well seeing as I started and finished this book in the same day, obviously you can tell it’s a can’t put down type of read. Linde hits it out of the ballpark once again. I love the different genre for her, and I’m in love with this story, even though this book will make you feel a bit ragey. The third book needs to be out like yesterday so I can find out what happens next!!!

Thankfully this book picks up where Blood Type left off & gives us the slow build to an epic finish, which i must warn you is a cliff hanger & will leave you begging for next book . As Reyna is finding out having a rare blood type is a curse & the reason why shes been kidnapped , it also doesn't help she placed her trust in the wrong person , everyone wants something but mostly the prize that runs through her veins . I feel that Reyna puts her big girl pants on in this book apart from the odd tantrum i found her a stronger person . When the hero turns up its not quite the rescue she was expecting , keep the tissues handy you'll need them plus you will love & hate the end all at the same time , bring on the next one .

5 Perfect Stars!!

I didn’t think Linde could top Blood Type, but man, was I ever wrong! Blood Match kept me on the edge of my seat. I was hooked from page one and could. Not. Put. It . Down!! It was enthralling. It was riveting. Linde pulls you in to Becks and Reyna’s world with a finesse that will leave you begging for more. From the heartache and sorrow, to the happiness and love. Blood Match is one book, you won’t want to miss! A definite page turner that was unputdownable! I cannot wait for Blood Cure to come out!

need the next book!!!!
K.A. Linde never fails to keep me invested in a story.
There were times I felt the story was very Twilight-ish or unoriginal in some ways (which isn't necessarily a bad thing but I unconsciously made comparisons). I will say though, that I really do like reading Beckham Anderson's character. He is strong and intelligent. He is vulnerable and ambitious. I also enjoy that although he is a vampire, Linde manages to maintain his humanity without compromising the very essence of his vampirism.
I am enjoying the conspiracy and soft thriller aspect of this story. There is a lot going on and you need to pay attention, so definitely don't read this when you are close to falling asleep lol.
At times the story lagged or seemed repetitive but you couldn't necessarily skim through as you might miss a point in the drama parts of the story over skipping through some of the romance or human nature parts of the story.
Much like any and all K.A. Linde books, I love the female characters in this series. Including the antiheroines (antagonists). They are strong willed, the give the men and all others a run for their money all while being glamorous.
If you thought the ending of book one was a WTF moment, I'm not sure you'll survive this ending. It's so classic Linde and you know she's a sorrynotsorry kind of gal lol.
This is a worthwhile series.
D 3.5/5

Its such a unique twist and absolutely held my attention the entire read. Definitely put this series on your to read shelf at once! Even if you don't typically read paranormal or the like, I promise this series is worth the trip into the unknown!

K.A. Linde has magically turned me into a big vampire lover or at least a lover of this author’s vampire hero. I, Karen, have replaced my Twilight vampire with a better version: Beckham, the Blood Type vampire. K.A. Linde has created my new vampire hero, as my heart belongs to Beckham Anderson now. My heart belongs to this achingly-addicting Blood Type series that turned me from non-paranormal lover to vampire-loving whore. Blood Match was my passion in words . .. my perfect match.

Once I started, I didn’t want to . . . I wouldn’t . . . I couldn’t stop. Blood Match was the greatest ADDICTION. I couldn’t put down this decadent vampire delight that was UTTERLY UNIQUE and UNPUTDOWNABLE. Blood Match melted me from the very first page and never stopped. The intensity pulled me in where I was paralyzed to every powerful word. I was so sucked into Blood Match’s vampire world!

”I am not the hero you constructed in your story, Little One. I am the villain.”

Beckham, this beautiful and broody, vampire gets better and better! I can’t love this blood-sucking and big-hearted alpha of a vampire hero enough! K.A. Linde created the perfect hero in Becks! I’m still stunned that non-paranormal lover me is lusting after a vampire—SO OWNED by K.A. Linde’s brilliantly crafted Blood Type world.

”I want all of your pleasure, Reyna. It belongs to me now. Do you understand?”

As much as I loved and lusted after Becks, his human is pretty incredible too. Reyna, I adored her more than ever because I witnessed her transformation from meek mouse to powerful lioness. Reyna roars with her newfound strength that is admirable. Together, Reyna and Becks are fated soul mates with a connection felt so deep that it’s as if they were created for each other.

”You are mine, Little One.”

Blood Match is hot, heady, and HEARTBREAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL. This thrilling and twisted roller coaster of a romance will thrust you to the emotional edge and you’ll love every pulse-pounding minute! This shot of paranormal romance was my drug, my APHRODISIAC OF ANGST. I was HOOKED and HIGH on Blood Match, this heart-hitting, pulse-pounding, deliciously decadent delight. My feels were on fire where I burned for this book with every bated breath I took. I burned for these compassionate and complex characters with off-the-charts chemistry who were perfect together. I BURNED FOR MORE.

”I do it all for you.”

What another heart-beating-out-of-my-chest, render-me-raging, shock-my-soul ending!!! Oh K.A. Linde, my heart rate jumped through the roof with your epic conclusion. In fact, I’m now crowning K.A. Linde the Queen of Angst and the Master of Epic ‘Crack-Your-Kindle’ Cliffhangers. I am still panting and about to show my vampire fangs if book three doesn’t surface soon.

”You will be the end of me.”

“Aren’t I just the beginning?”

K.A. Linde SLAYED this story like a vampire hunter, hot hero vampires of course. My heart was hit so hard as Blood Match MELTED ME. I was such a GONER, so lost to Blood Match. K.A. Linde has converted me to a PARANORMAL VIXEN—SO POSSESSED—as I can’t help but down her Blood Type books like a bloodsucking vampire whore. Like Blood Type, Blood Match is a TOP 2018 READ, and I have to bestow my highest rating on a paranormal romance. This sinfully delicious and soul-slaying adventure will mark your heart long after you turn the last page. Blood Match is so bloody EPIC and so epically EVERYTHING. The perfect match. MY PERFECT MATCH.

”Some risks are worth everything.”

💋💋💋💋💋💋 beautiful bloody kisses

This trilogy may just be my absolute favorite thing that K.A. Linde has ever written. It’s just so new and refreshing, and holds me completely captivated the entire time that I’m reading it. I can’t put it down once I start. Blood Match was absolutely no exception to this rule. Blood Match picks up just a few short weeks after the ending of Blood Type, and once it starts, you’re on a roller coaster of emotions that never stops.

I think the best part about this trilogy is that it is such a new take on the “same old” vampire story. I’ve read a lot of vampire/urban fantasy romances throughout the years. At point, if a book didn’t have a vampire or a werewolf somewhere in it, I wasn’t reading it, and after a while, they all seemed to be the same. The plotting and pacing were all really similar and there was simply nothing new to be discovered. However, in both Blood Type and Blood Match, Linde has blown those preconceived notions clear out of the water. The world introduced in this story is new, and refreshing, and brings with it an entire new layer of political intrigue and vampire happenings. There is so much creativity and thought placed in this world building, its overwhelming to think about one author creating all this by herself. But I am so glad that she did!

Beckham and Reyna continue to remain probably one of my most favorite literary couples to date. Beckham is both dark and loving, with an overprotective side that is hauntingly sexy and intriguing. His love for Reyna is unquestionable, and I loved that we learned more about him in this chapter of the series. And where Reyna was always a powerful main character, she grows even stronger in book two. We really begin to see her come into her own, and her no nonsense attitude is refreshing.

I cannot wait to see what surprises Linde has in store for us in book three, and I am anxiously awaiting finding out!

3.5 stars

ARC provided via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

Reyna finds herself in the hands of the enemy, being his personal blood bank. She is held prisioner even if it is in a nice jail cell. Just when Reyna thinks she is losing all hope and the only way out is death, she has an unexpected visitor with an agenda she can get behind.

Soon Reyna finds herself in Elle headquarters, freed from her prison but now in another type of cell. She misses Becks and can't figure out why he hasn't come to her yet. Then when she finally sees him again things do not go well.

Can Beckham and Reyna find their way back to each other or are the fated to be apart.

So I would give the first half of this book 2 starts and the last part 4 1/2 stars, so I averaged it out to 3.5 stars.

I found Reyna to be somewhat annoying in the first half and she really was getting on my nerves. I had a hard time getting into the story and just felt it moved a little slow. Then finally a little half way thru the book it picked up and toward the end I was finally all in. So of course I am now hooked to find out what will happen in the next one due to the cliff hanger in this one.

5 make the lambs stop screaming stars

This book picks up at the end of Type.

It was awesome.

I really, really don’t want to leave anything else for fear of spoilers.

You realize in this book what being a perfect blood match means for this society.

It will make you cry, squirm, laugh, say awwwww... this one has it all.

I highly recommend starting with book 1 and diving right in.
I feel this could be on the level of a new hunger Games craze. With hot sex that is.

This book was everything. My emotions were all over the place. I spent half the book on the edge of my seat. I absolutely adore Becks and Reyna. The writing is superb and the flow of the story line is perfect!

I was beyond thrilled when I saw that Blood Match was up for review on NetGalley. I had loved Blood Type and was waiting for Blood Match to come out. I had hyped this book up in my head. I am glad that it lived up to my internal hype because I would have been mad if it wasn’t good. Let me clarify, mad at myself. I try not to let myself get all hyped up over books. But in this case, because Blood Type was so good, I let myself do it.

Blood Match starts off 56 days after the ending events of Blood Type. Reyna has been kidnapped by William Harrington, the president and CEO of Visage. Reyna was kidnapped because of her very rare blood type, RH null negative. Harrington needed Reyna for her blood but he wasn’t above torturing her when she wouldn’t comply. One of those times, he left her alone with a deranged vampire that he called B. Reyna is soon broken out of Visage by Elle. Reyna soon learns that not everything is what it seemed. That enemies can be allies and allies can be terrible enemies. Can she overthrow Visage with the help of her friends or will she be forced to watch people that she loved die?

Blood Match was as dark and gritty as Blood Type. There was an undercurrent of violence that ran throughout the book. That is what made the book so good. You never knew when violence was going to explode. What I also liked, and what made this book dark, was that the “good guys” weren’t necessarily good guys. The author had those characters walk a thin line between good and evil. I loved it!!

The sex in this book was great. But, what I liked was that there wasn’t a ton of it. But, when Reyna and Beckham did bump uglies, it was explosive. Even Reyna’s dream sex was amazing!!!

The plotlines in Blood Match were not resolved. If anything, more depth was added to them. I cannot wait to read book 3 to see how this story ends.

The end of the book was insane. I didn’t expect what happened to happen. And it ended with a small cliffhanger. I was mentally yelling “NO” when I read it.

I rated Blood Match with a 4-star rating. Why did I do that? I liked the plotline. I liked the characters. The sex scenes were hot. Now, with the good, there is the bad. There were parts of the book that I didn’t like. I didn’t like William Harrington. I didn’t like what Visage was doing behind the scenes. I didn’t like the cliffhanger (as small as it was).

What I liked about Blood Match (to recap):

A) Plotline. Thought it was great.

B) Characters.

C) Sex scenes

What I disliked about Blood Match (to recap):

A) William Harrington

B) What Visage was doing behind the scenes

C) the cliffhanger

I would give Blood Match an Adult rating. There is explicit sex. There is violence. There is language. I would suggest that no one under the age of 21 read this book.

I would reread Blood Match. I would also recommend this book to family and friends.

I would like to thank Random House Publishing Group, Loveswept, and NetGalley for allowing me to read and review Blood Match.

All opinions stated in this review of Blood Match are mine.
