After reading Blood Type, I was counting down the days for this one. I couldn't believe what Reyna got herself into. She did seem to attract disaster without really meaning to. There was times that I was like NO, don't do it and what were you thinking??? Then it was like really??? you did it anyway. *Sigh*

She wanted to go back and do things differently but couldn't. Beckham was always on her mind but she couldn't get any answers from anyone. She felt so alone with no one to help.

This is literally a nail biting kind of book that I couldn't get enough of. I can't wait for the next one to come out. I NEED to know what happens!

I can't right now!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am broken!!!!!!!!

Amazing!!!!!!

I finally managed to get my feelings on check to write this review. I seriously had to think long and hard to come up with words that would do justice to this book. I am still in shock. I am still broken. Probably will be until I get book 3. FYI, I need book 3 so K.A. Linde, you better hurry up. I am in pins and needles. I came up with all kinds of scenarios to justify the ending of Blood Match but I just cannot. K.A. Linde, you are one cruel lady but still a genius. Your ability to write a refreshing continuation to a highly charged and action packed paranormal romance is astounding. I love paranormal romances but Blood Match definitely cemented why I love them. The sizzling scenes. The escapism. The danger. The unforgettable and luscious characters. Blood Match COMPELLED my mind, REJUVENATED my soul and FED my heart. Blood Match is a devastatingly beautiful paranormal romance that will leave you tongue tied. I am still trying to pick up the remains of my heart from the floor.

Blood Match is the second book in the Blood Type series and picks off where we left in Blood Type. New alliances are formed. New characters are introduced, Survival is the new game. I am not going to lie but Blood Match killed me. Every page sunk me in so deep. Every sentence was deadly to my inhibitions. I was wretched. I was ruined. I was turned upside down. Wicked. Fiery. Dangerous. Sublime. Exciting. Blood Match was a brilliant and high paced paranormal romance with a blazing plot that captivated me. Blood Match was a story of paranormal love. It was a story of survival. It was a story of a battle between good and evil. Man, I indulged this story. I inhaled this story. I ate up this story. Blood Match caused an inferno in my soul. Blood Match opened a big hole inside me. K.A, Linde, you are incredible. Your writing is unique. Who knew a paranormal romance written by you could touch me like this. K.A. Linde's words just pull you in. She just makes you escape with an epic and different vampire tale. Blood Match was a well written book filled with angst, twisted secrets, intensity and a breathtaking romance that will ache you.

I love Reyna and Beckham. I am so head over in heels in love with them as their relationship develops. I freaking adore their chemistry. It is heavy. It is sexy. It is smoking. It is intense. And boy, did it make me quiver. Reyna and Beckham as always just bring sexiness and life to the story. Reyna is freaking amazing. She is a spitfire. In this book, she goes through a lot that can damage one's soul but she comes back ready to fight and protect. Like always, she is impulsive and gets in trouble. K.A. Linde made me lust for a vampire. Hard. I lust for Beckham. He is strong. He is powerful. He is broody and violent. I just want a piece of Beckham all night long. Is that okay to ask because I am just addicted to him. To his protectiveness and possessiveness over Reyna. To his vampire nature that makes me hot. Beckham definitely makes my ovaries sing to his tune lol.

K.A. Linde, I need book 3 like yesterday. I am coming with all kinds of scenarios and theories. I will not rest until I have book 3 in my kindle.

I can't even with this book! Linde has done it again and although this is a PA book, it still has all the angst in which she writes her other books. And i love it!!

After reading Blood Type I was so anxious to read the next book to see what would happen in the worlf of Reyna and Beckham. And I was not disappointed. While the first book established our characters and the world around them, we really get to dive into the story in Blood Match, as well as get to know some new characters that play an important part in their world.

I don't want to do a spoiler review but I will say that there are some amazing scenes that I read over and over again. And once again Linde has left us all on the edge of our seat.

If you don't finish this book and yell, scream or throw your kindle/book, then you have no heart!!! This book had my heart racing in so many places from anticipation and I am sitting on pins and needles waiting for the final installment. In all honesty I'm hoping that it doesn't end with book 3. I want to read more and more of these characters!!

Holy hell….where is this story going?! Blood Match is the second book in KA Linde’s latest series. You can check out my review of the first book Blood Type HERE (you need to read this story first to know what is going on, you can grab it HERE).

This book took me down a path that I was not expecting. I refuse to say too much here because you probably wouldn’t believe me anyway. Picking up where we left off after Blood Type ended I was horrified at what Reyna was being put through. You will get to see how things can really be for humans in this new world where vampires are out in the open and taking control. One thing kept her going though…

“Beckham was imprinted on her heart”

Beckham is of course here again, still as conflicted as ever. He is intense and broody and then sweet (in his own way) and sexy. I hate how he still feels like he is a monster, his past haunts him and seems in inhibit him in the present.

“My present does not erase my past.”
“No, it doesn’t. But your past doesn’t define your future either.”

The pull he and Reyna have is incredible and rare, you will learn just how rare soon! We are also introduced to new players in this game - Meghan and Gabe, Jodie and Tye just to name a few. Everett even makes an appearance and you will probably want to smack him this time too! This world goes deeper than I could have imagined. The details and the storyline are so well put together and I am not above begging Kyla for more!

Be prepared to be shredded….you have been warned!!!

It wasn’t until you arrived that I knew you were everything I’d been seeking. You were then and you are now.

No.  Nope.  Nu-uh.  That, dear reader, is my reaction to the end of this book.  It is a cliffhanger of epic proportion.  And we'd already had a pretty big one at the end of the first book.

Once again, the author has provided a character driven tale with trauma, heat and emotion in abundance.  As well as betrayal from an unexpected source.

That ending though?  Yikes.  Talk about heart wrenching and devastating.  I can't wait to see how this one is redeemed.

Bring it on!  (Pretty please)

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

Blood Match is the second book in this series and starts off right where we left in the first book!!

Reyna Carpenter, is kidnapped and held captive by the Power Hungry Vampire of Visage just for her rare blood type.. She is also very much wanted by Elle, the revolutionary group who are fighting the Visage..
Visage wants Vampires to be in control and Elle is fighting for equality between vampires and humans. And in this political war, Reyna is the pawn..
Reyna is still an attraction to troubles.. However, i loved the growth of her character in this book.. She is much more strong!!
Beckham ends up stealing your heart all the way!!
The relation between Beckham and Reyna is tested even more in this second installment. The hidden secrets threaten their love and the world they are trying to create even more..

This book reveals political aspect of the vampire world and the revolution in Depth...
Blood Match was even better than the first book.. I couldnt put it down once.. The plot was so gripping..
And that ENDING!! I didnt see that coming..
Iam a fan of this author's writing, especially her angst stories..
I knew that she would leave us hanging.. But nothing prepared me for the Cliff hanger in this book... K.A. Linde just outdid herself in this book!!
Even though, the finale comes in 2 months, with the ending that was pure evil, 2 months is real long!!!!

3.5 Stars
WARNING - If you have not read the first book in the Blood Type series, stop. Do not read Blood Match first as you will be completely lost.
Having said that, I found this middle book of the series to be entertaining and intriguing. There is a Hunger Games - esque vibe to Reyna and Beckham's continued story and the intrigue element plays a much larger role than the romantic relationship.
I definitely see this more as Reyna's story with Beckham playing a secondary and supporting role. I appreciated Reyna's growth, even if she still wasn't making the best decisions. Well written, this is a compelling story that pulls the reader in and leaves you wanting to know what will happen next.
One plus for me; while Blood Match ends with a cliffhanger, it ends in such a way that if you are ready to be done with the story, you could walk away and let your imagination take over. I am very curious to see how things end in Blood Cure.

I really loved the first part but I struggled with this one. I hardly ever take books that have cliffhangers solely because I read too many books and by the time the other one comes out I have forgotten some details. This is what happened here. I was confused with who was who and doing what. When I read the first book I didn’t know it was a cliffhanger and paranormal too. I never read paranormals. After reading Blood Type, I was impressed so that’s why I took the other one and realized there are 3 books.

It’s not the authors fault. Her story seemed like a great one but just not for me.

I devour Blood Match, this series is so addictive.I loved it, it was brilliant from the beginning till the end!

Blood Match started a little bit slow but this shouldn't worry you because once things pick up you'll not want to finish this book!!It was a fantastic read, like the first book and I'm aching to see what will happen in the next book!

If you like paranormal romances, this is a must read!K.A. Linde did an amazing job and I wish that we will have more books like this from her!!

K A Linde shows you no mercy in this book. Not one tiny little red blood cell of mercy. She tortures you, just like she tortures Reyna. She tosses you in lock-up, throws away the key, and mocks you from the other side of the door.

And you know what? YOU WILL LOVE IT.

This book picks up several weeks after Blood Type ends, and you immediately know what happened to Reyna. (Linde keeps you guessing about Beckham because OF COURSE SHE DOES.) She also plunges you into the central conflict of this series: Elle, a group of feisty and fierce insurgents, vs. Visage, the evil vampire empire. What is Visage's end game? Who are the people behind Elle? And who is on whose side?

At the same time, K A Linde stokes the romance between Reyna and her Becks. This, too, is beset by outside influences, namely Penelope, the mayor's daughter and Beckham's erstwhile girlfriend. No one is happy or content in this book. There are moments of levity, but K A Linde never lets you forget the dystopian nature of the world her characters inhabit.

You can't have a book with a character like Beckham and not have the sexy times. K A Linde does not disappoint in the least where the hot headboard rocking is concerned. She delivers the quiver in a way that will have you begging for release.

About the ending. This is the second book of a trilogy, and second books of trilogies typically are dark. Let's just say that KA Linde understands that dictum and does not deviate from it. The ending is horrible in a "NOOOOO!" kind of way. You will find yourself wondering how you're supposed to survive until the third book comes out in August.

Holy crap, this book was so good, emotionally tore you heart out and left you NEEDING more! I need book 3 NOW!

You know, for as long as I have read K.A. Linde I know how evil she can be and that I should have my kindle wrapped in bubble wrap because it will be thrown. Another one bit the dust when I finished Blood Match. Yes, I broke another kindle. My husband is going to kill me when I order yet another one. I am sure I am not the only one who broke their kindle especially with that ending! Really Ms. Linde? Really? And I can’t even say what it is because I refuse to spoil this book but OMG WHY WHY WHY?!?!

Reyna and Becks will once again have you on the edge of your seat. You will want to stake Becks more than once, trust me, I know I did but you will also love him again. Reyna goes through some things, again I won’t say what, and it changes her, makes her more cynical at times and it is understandable because I would be as well. There are so many twists and turns in Blood Match that it is impossible to try to figure out what will happen next. The buildup, the drama, the angst, the OH MY FUCKING GOD WHAT DID I JUST READ moments make this book one that you can’t put down, for ANY reason. I can’t believe what happens, happens. I am still sitting here asking how could that happen, why would it happen?

I can’t wait for the next book, Blood Cure, I need this book in my greedy book whore hands because I NEED to know what is going to happen but at the same time I am scared because I am devastated over that ending. This entire series so far has my addicted and I must say that Blood Match was one of my most anticipated summer reads and it did not disappoint!

I've been anxiously awaiting the release of this book because Blood Type had me like, WHOA! And this book was seriously epic!! I couldn't put it down and consumed it as fast as I could! Yes, I realize that's a lot of exclamations, but that's how seriously good this book is. I was immersed back in Reyna's life and I was holding my breath, waiting to see what would happen next for her. I loved the way this story flowed and the story was exposed. There were twists I didn't see coming and K.A. Linde had me on the edge of my seat. There was no way for me to put this book down. This was an all-consuming read and I couldn't devour it fast enough! I loved the pull and the chemistry between Beckham and Reyna. Reyna's world may have been changing in a way that she wasn't expecting, but I liked the people she had around her (mostly), and was invested in all the things that were going on around her. I feel like I'm being so vague here, but I truly don't want to ruin this story for you. Just know this was a top read of 2018 for me and I HIGHLY suggest this book. You need to read Blood Type before you read this book though.

Holy Smokes! This second instalment into the Blood Type series blew me away!

It’s originality and premise are one of a kind.

In Blood Match, the feud between Elle and Visage heats up and it comes to an unforeseeable climax!

Reyna and her counterparts at Elle are desperately trying to bring down Harrington and Visage. It is a game of chess. For every decision, there is a consequence. No one is willing to put the queen in jeopardy.

Along the way, secrets are revealed, loyalties are tested and mayhem abounds.

Will Reyna and her friends defeat Harrington or, will Harrington destroy everything and everyone she loves?

KA Linde really knows how to write an intriguing story that keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Reyna was a strong heroine and her character grew and changed with every chapter. She is no longer the naïve girl she once was but she is still as caring and loving as ever.

Beckham, my dear Beckham. I absolutely love him! Dark, brooding, tortured yet so full of love and compassion. He finally shares his past, but, his past has no intention of staying there!

This was an incredible read full of action, intrigue and love. It is my favorite PNR romance so far this year!!

First of all, Blood Match is the second installment in the Blood Type Series and you need to have read Blood Type first. Blood Match picks up right where Blood Type left off so you will be lost.

It's going to be hard to write this review without giving away any spoilers but I'll try my best. In Blood Match, Reyna and Beckham's love is tested even more. There are a lot of secrets in their world that they are both trying to uncover. They are pulled apart and pushed back together, really testing the special bond that we all know that they have.

Blood Match and this series is so addictive that once you start reading, you can't put it down. I was wrapped into their world and didn't want to get out. I'm so happy that Linde has created this wonderful paranormal world that keeps me begging for more. And holy cliffhangers. I'm DYING for the next one. Full on grabby hands, begging for the next book to be in my hands NOW.

If you like paranormal romances, then you need to try this series out. It's a bit of a different spin on paranormal that speaks to the geek in me as well. Seriously, give it a go!

Blood Match is book two in the highly anticipated Blood Type Trilogy and Ms. Linde starts us right where Blood Type left us with our jaws on the floor screaming NO!!!

I’m going to write this review a bit different then my usual.

0%- I hope that there’s a beautiful reunion, all the hearts and flowers. Becks and Rey slaughter the upper management at Visage.

25% - I have to say that Blood Match started a bit slow for me. I kept waiting for Becks to save Rey, for this big reunion full of dedications of love. Instead we are given a$$hole Becks but don’t worry that is short lived.

50%- This is getting good. I love Becks. They got this sh*! down. Visage is going down!!! #Burn

75%- Well this isn’t good… nope that’s not going to work… and for the love of god don’t piss off that woman!!!

100%- Yep, I was right you shouldn’t have done that or that and Becks you meant well but... OMG, WHAT!! NO!! I didn’t see that coming… Patiently or not so patiently waits for Blood Cure.!

Well, well, well,… where do I start… Let me just say that I am head over heels in love with this series!!! It’s perfect! It’s not often that a series can capture my heart and my mind so fast and for so long (#bookhangover). I don’t think I can find the right words to describe how amazing Blood Match is. This story is unique and has more depth than most of other books I’ve read. It’s thought through and lets you be part of this experience. It transports you into another world where everything is unknown and mysterious, even dangerous. Believe me when I tell you this book won’t let you go. It’s an amazing experience to read this paranormal/dystopian story and just like in the first book, Blood Type, you won’t be able to rest until you’ve finished.

“Everything fit her like a dream. If only she wouldn’t be living a nightmare.”

Blood Match continues right where we left off and you’re once again thrown into this world where humans and vampires live together, divided in two classes.
The second book reads a little bit different than the first. You already know all the important things you still had to learn in Blood Type. It’s exciting and emotional. All the things happening in this book just makes you want more; more Reyna and Beckham, more vampires, more love and intrigues, and just more of this beautiful and dangerous world.

Personally I love reading romance. Every book I read has to have at least a little bit of love drama in it. Also I am a huge, HUGE fan of dystopian stories, which are not that many great out there. And Blood Match just fits perfectly in this category. Once again I fell deeply in love with KA Linde’s story of vampires, politics, love, intrigues and betrayal. And yet again KA Linde managed to make me LOVE and HATE her at the same time. Especially because this book ends in a cliffhanger. I am so anxious to find out what happens next! So if you start reading this book be prepared to get a huge book hangover. It’s already a few days and I still can’t get Reyna and Beckham out of my head. Their story is etched into my soul. I loved everything about it and I’m dying to know what happens next.

K.A. Linde is blowing me away with this series; like I can't even describe the amount of wtf I have right now. She created this world so vividly and you can't help but fall into it once you start reading.

"Oh Little One, how do you still have such a heart?"

Book one, Blood Type, left us all in an uproar. I was left speechless and stir-crazy at the abrupt ending and I knew that when this book was made available I would devour it like I had done the previous one. Let me tell you....I wasn't wrong. Linde grabbed my heart, shook it up threw it in my face! We left Reyna at the end of Blood Type captured by Harrington to be his own personal "blood bag." The situation seems hopeless and every early on Reyna doesn't know whether to give up and give in to the madness or keep fighting. It's an endless cycle of needles, isolation, and fear.

Without giving away any spoilers, there are some major revelations in this book and we see characters who we thought we knew were on certain sides show us another aspect of themselves. The plot is fast-paced and full of twists and turns while the characters remain so very well written.

Reyna's character evolves into something more than what she was in a way that only her circumstances could have made her. She's jaded, but at times we still see that hopeful young girl we first met. Her relationship with Beckham is so intense; Linde gives us this palpable love, lust, and friendship between the two in such a magnificent way. I loved watching them together and believe me...they have some revelations of their own.

Overall, this book was great. If you loved the first one then you'll fall in love all over again in Blood Match. Just be prepared, the ending is just as abrupt, or even more so, than it was in Blood Type. You'll definitely be left wanting more and screaming your lungs out.

KA Linde is killing me with this series. KILLING ME! The 'Blood Type' series is so addictive and consuming. I can't get enough! I thought the first book ended on a cliffhanger... well, I hadn't seen anything yet! The ending of this one... gah! I die. Thank goodness the wait between these books aren't long!

Reyna Carpenter was not in a good place when we last saw her. Life was not turning out how she planned and she was in real danger. This story took off right where the last left off. My heart was beating so fast and I was so anxious for how things would turn out for Reyna. Just as I thought things were calming down, BAM. Something else happened that shocked me.

Reyna and Becks. I love them together. Seriously, I can't imagine a world where these two don't end up together. They're meant to be. Their connection is more than just sexual, they are a true match in every sense. You can feel it. I don't know where the next book will go, but I have to have faith things will work out.

This has to be one of the best paranormal romance series I've ever read. They've captivated me from the start and always leave me wanting more. Kyla has done an amazing job with the characters, story line, and of course- the angst! I highly recommend these books to anyone who enjoys PNR!!!
