There are so many reasons why i keep coming back to K.A. Linde's books - at first it was because of her Wright Brothers series and then when she wrote the Wright sister story that tore my heart into so many pieces that i wasn't sure just how she'd manage to put it back together. But put it back together she did. Then she came out with her Vampire series - the Blood series that have kept me awake more nights than i'd care to admit.

This series is everything that i love about paranormal romances. It's entertaining. It's new. It's a story that kept me at the edge of my seat. But most of all, it also had me coming back more than once, forgoing on sleep when i knew i desperately needed it. It also had suspenseful aspects that kept me guessing more than once on what would happen next.

I wish i could say you can just pick this book up and go on your merry way - but regretfully, i have to inform others that you have to read the previous book just so that you can understand what makes Reyna so special and wanted by more than one vampire. By reading the first book, you get to really understand why Beckham and Reyna are so drawn to one another, how they manage to make each other better. But most of all, you get a full picture of them as a couple.

There's just something about this series that keeps me coming back for more. It's unlike any of the previous vampire themed novels i've read (and i've read more than i can count), and it gives you just enough twists to make your jaw slack in surprise. i loved this book, i love the series so far, and i can't wait to find out just what'll happen in the next instalment because this series is that fascinating.

I am completely gutted with one hell of a book hangover.
Vampire books are slowly becoming my favorite type of books. This book had the perfect mix of scaring me out of my wits to a beautiful love story between a vampire and his human.
But let me just say I didn't even think that the book would end the way it did

I so need the next book now! K.A. Linde has killed me with this series already and I am dying to see what will happen next and where she will take us with this storyline. I am so in love with this world she has created. I am intrigued and hanging on the edge of my seat through the entire story. The twists and turns have definitely left me needing more. Even if PNR is not your first choice, you so need to read this series. It still has that angst that you come to expect from K.A. Linde and I have found myself completely involved in these characters' stories.

AHHH!! Blood Match was incredible!!!

After reading Blood Type, I was so excited to pick up Blood Match. As soon as this book landed on my kindle, I picked it up asap. Again, if you know me, you know that I don't generally read vampire romances, however, this book, is so freaking good!! It is so sexy and suspenseful that your heart is constantly beating out of control.

Reyna and Beckham are two characters who are each so different, yet find a way to be absolutely perfect for one another. Their "relationship" just works so well. Yes, they have their issues and problems to overcome, yet, that makes the book so much more intriguing.

I cannot wait to see how their story ends in Blood Cure.

5/5 Stars!

Beckham is protective and possessive, “I would kill before letting a single person lay a hand on you. You know this?” Beckham has animalistic qualities at times, “well, we could have someone else drink her blood and see if it works,” Washington said simply. Beckham growled. Actually growled. “Or . . . we could try something else,” Washington said hastily, taking a step back." I am in desperate need for book three Kyla hasn't let me down before so I'm trusting her to get me where I want to be in happy land for these characters.

We left Reyna in Blood Match in a bit of a predicament now we find her, in her words, as a blood bag to the most powerful vampire in the world—William Harrington.

The story continues and there are revelations, big revelations and omg the underhand goings on! And sexy times. Omg they were so hot I nearly combusted!

But still there was that tight feeling in my stomach. 'Oh Little One, how do you still have such a heart?' Totally what I was thinking Becks. I mean I know it's for the greater good but it drove me mad! But sometimes you have to put align yourself with fate....

This aside, I did like it. The idea around this trilogy is unique and I love that. The writing is flawless and it flowed so well.....and that ending! I need the next one!

3.5 Stars

I think this book may have suffered a bit of Book Two in a Series syndrome. The last 25%-30% is what saved this one for me.

I know that the second book in a ongoing series are usually more geared to that final showdown and I truly felt that in this one. This book seemed to be more informative than action, like it was putting all the pieces in order before the puzzle could be solved. I get the reasons for it but when those things happen I tend to find myself a bit bored.

I will say that it was a relief to see Reyna safe and back with the people she belonged with. Her fight is admirable and seeing her wanting to be in the middle of that battle instead of cowering was awe-inspiring. I love when a personal vendetta is not only that but something for the greater good. Although she is still a bit compulsive in this one and makes some questionable decisions she is still a great character and I can't wait to see what happens with her next.

There were elements of this part of the story that annoyed me a bit even though I knew the facades the characters had to uphold were necessary. These did get better as the story unfolded so by the end I found myself endeared vs annoyed.

After that ending I can only hope the third book comes quickly. It was not what I expected at all and I need resolution like stat!!

Gah. This series slays me! As an introduction to K.A Linde's writing, it couldn't get any better! Blood Type continues to be a suspenseful ride that has me turning pages as fast as possible.

Blood Type ended on the mother of all cliff hangers and Blood Match picks up almost straight away. Reyna is still being kept captive by Mr Harrington and living a boring and repetitive existence. 8 long weeks of donating blood, running on treadmills and staring at the wall. Her fear of needles and hospitals is getting worse with every IV that's inserted and her hope for freedom is slowly dying.

She’s left with questions, what’s happening with her blood? Will she ever escape? And more importantly where’s Becks?

Blood Type was an introduction into the world of Reyna and Beckham and Blood Match continues on that path with great character development and even better plot development. With Blood Match you learn more about the history of how the world has ended up being run by Vampires and how Beckham and Reyna tie in to the history of what happened and the future of what could happen.

Reyna's character development was so well written in Blood Match. After the events of Blood Type and what occurs while being held by Mr Harrington I thought her actions and character development were so true to how someone in her situation would be acting.

I say this about a lot of books but Blood Match is best when you go in blind. The blurb gives absolutely nothing away about the story within these pages. And every page keeps you captivated and has you reeling from events that occur. The angst is non stop!

I'm suffering from the mother of book hangover's and am literally counting the seconds till Blood Cure hits my kindle!
