Not a lot of new material that I didn’t already know or haven’t read in other places. And I’ll admit that I didn’t read the whole thing, just skipped around to the parts that applied to me. But it is that kind of book. I guess I’d you haven’t heard this material before then it is amazing.

This is a pretty good guide that doesn't need to be read in it's entirety. Some of it seemed like common sense, but there was still a lot that could be gained from this book.

I have to admit that I didn't really learn anything new from this book and I don't think it's made for parents like me. I'm a mom of 5 with two of my kids grown and out of the house, and I found most of it to be commonsense. I'm also older and have read a lot of parenting books already. That said, I also don't relate to the way she recommends breaking up time and I think I'm just a different sort of person. The book is probably better suited for type A personalities. Lots of good stuff here though.

This is one of those books that you don't have to read cover to cover. It's not a book you have to read all a once. you can use it as a guide a reference. Maybe only a few chapters apply to you and those are what you read. It is well written and a good book not taking that away from it, I just didn't read what didn't apply.

I loved this book because I felt that the author was talking to me and really understand real life ,complete chaos and trying to control it.
I loved all of the helpful hints and the real time problem-solving and suggestions on how to help parent and slow down and be present.
The book even touches on taking out time for yourself which is the one thing that everyone always forgets and is the last On the to do list!

I'm a big fan of Julie Morgenstern's other books about organizing and life coaching so I was delighted to receive this to review from Netgalley.

I liked the practical, pragmatic advice about how to find balance while parenting in our modern world. The book is well organized and clear, easy to find topics of interest and skip over portions that don't apply to my own life. I can see myself referencing this book as we reach different stages with my kiddo.

I will definitely be recommending this book to my mom friends as well as handing it out at baby showers. Great book!

Many thanks to Netgalley, the publisher, and the author for my ARC. All opinions are my own.

Being a parent of 2 young children I am always looking for books, articles and magazines to read about parenting, children and how I can improve on being a good parent. I came across Time to Parent and I was immediately drawn to the cover. Because of the colors of the hand prints, it drew me in like nothing else. I am a full time mom, wife, worker, student, contest enterer and I also work two side jobs. This book opened my eyes to see that all time is precious, time never stops and that our duty to our children never stops. This book enabled and encouraged me to put down my cell phone and become unplugged when I’m spending time with my children. As we all know, being & remaining unplugged can be quite a challenge sometimes. The various strategies outlined helped me realize that it is ok to be unplugged, and that spending quality time with my children is more important than anything else! I have recommended this book to all of my Mommy + Me groups, friends and family even those who will be adopting children this summer. This is a great resource guide for all and I really enjoyed it!
