This was my first book in the series, and I absolutely loved Bam and Amber! Great suspense and romance! Really good read that makes me want to read more of the series.

I was excited to read Rough Ride. I have read the True Brother’s MC series from book 2. This series has captivated me. I love reading about bad boys who find their true loves with good girls. I have loved reading this series and Rough Ride was no exception.

What I liked about this book was how relatable Amber and Bam were. I also liked the chemistry between Amber and Bam. Even when they were in denial about their feelings for each other, it was still there. What I also liked was that both of them were not afraid to stand up to people. Bam stood up to his MC family for his relationship with Amber. And Amber, well she stood up to the son of the head of the region’s Russian mafia.

There were also things I didn’t like about the book. I didn’t like how Tank acted for 90% of the book. I get that he felt guilty about what happened with Stitch but still. He acted like a jerk when he began to suspect that Bam had feelings for Amber. If I didn’t know any better, I would have thought Tank had feelings for her. I also didn’t like Bam’s mother. She was a vile woman. That whole scene in the casino turned my stomach. The last thing I didn’t like about the book was how Amber’s mother acted the entire book. I get that she was destroyed when Stitch was murdered. That would have destroyed me too. But she wallowed in it. Kept drinking and forced Amber to take over paying the mortgage and all the house bills. She did redeem herself halfway through the book but still, the damage was done. I couldn’t look at her the same way I did when Brittany was introduced in Rebellious.

I liked the plot of Rough Ride. It takes place a year after Stitch was murdered. We find Bam is a full member of the book, despite what happened in Resilient. Amber is struggling to take care of her mother and keep the bills paid while going to school. She also needs closure with her father’s death. So she decides to go to the Russian Mafia owned club and demand answers. She gets them and she gets the unwanted attention of Ruslan, the son of the head of region’s Russian Mafia. When the Brothers’ find out that Ruslan is stalking Amber, Bam is put on duty to watch her and keep her safe. Which Amber resents and fights against. But soon they start to develop feelings for each other. Can their love survive? Or is it destined to be a failed love story?

Ok, let’s talk about the cover. While I like it and think the model is hot, he does not look like what I expected Bam to look like. Bam was described by Amber as looking like a Viking. I was expecting a cover model who looked like a biker viking.

That is what I thought Bam should look like. Not, the cover model on the cover. Just saying.

I liked how Bam and Amber’s romance was slow going. Bam didn’t want to be attracted to her. She was off-limits to him and here he was fighting his attraction to her. But once he kissed her, the romance took off. Of course, it wasn’t easy-going.

The chemistry between Bam and Amber was insane. The author took her time having them do the dirty but when they did, it was insane. As was every other sex scene that they had together. I do have one question, which wasn’t answered in the book. Was Bam pierced like Reb and Tank? Author didn’t mention it and inquiring minds want to know…lol.

The end of the Rough Ride had me in tears. I agreed with Amber about why she did what she did. But, I also agreed with Maverick. She shouldn’t have run. I loved the epilogue. Loved, loved, loved it!!!

What I liked about Rough Ride:

A) How relatable Amber and Bam were

B) The chemistry between Amber and Bam

C) How they weren’t afraid not to stand up to people

What I disliked about Rough Ride:

A) Tank and how he acted for 90% of the book.

B) Bam’s mother. What a vile, vile woman

C) Amber’s mother.

I would give Rough Ride an Adult rating. There is explicit sex. There is violence. There is language. I would suggest that no one under the age of 21 read this book.

I would reread Rough Ride. I would also recommend this book to family and friends.

I would like to thank Random House Publishing Group, Loveswept, and NetGalley for allowing me to read and review Rough Ride.

All opinions stated in this review of Rough Ride are mine.

Quite an interesting book... It was okay i guess, it had a son of anarchy's vibe. For some reason, one small littlle thing anoyed me...the name of the characters...I tought they were not good, it did not fit them...

Why haven’t I read this series from the start. I love MC stories and once I started reading Bam & Amber’s Story I was hooked. Bam & Amber were meant to be but Ruslan might have something too say about that. Between the crazy shoot outs to losing a love one and finding love, this story had it all. I will definitely get one clicking the other books in this series.

A great book with plenty of sexy times. If you like books about motorcycle clubs and alpha men, this is your series. I loved Bam's story. He made a great couple with Amber.

Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC.

I have recently become more interested in reading MC books. Sometimes it is hard to pick which ones to read based on the nature of the writing, etc. I am so happy I picked this author. She had just the right amount of violence that is not too hardcore and without all the cheating and triangles. Bam and Amber are both young but based on their life experiences more mature than people give them credit for. They have dealt with death, violence and a psycho who wanted Amber more than anything. I was intrigued from the beginning and cannot wait to read more. Looking forward to which character will be next. For any fans of MC this series is definitely one that needs to be added to list.

Rough Ride by Gillian Archer is the fourth book in the True Brothers MC. The first book was rocky, but each book since then has been much better. I have grown to love the characters in the MC club and have found each of the couple’s hotness factor outstanding! Rough Ride focuses on the relationship between Amber and Bam.

Amber is the daughter of a True Brother who has died. Her mother is falling apart and she has had to drop out of school and take a cruddy job to help her family stay afloat. On top of everything, Amber feels she needs some information to help understand and let go of her father’s death. The problem with looking for that information brings her into the sphere of the Russian Mafia, number two man. He is having trouble taking her no as acceptable.

Bam Bam is one of the newest members of True Brother. He is huge and acts to help enforce what the bosses need. He sees Amber with the Mafia Don and at the direction of his boss, takes her away. Bam ends up having to shadow her to help dissuade him from forcing himself on Amber.

Bam Bam and Amber begin to see the good and wonderfulness in each other. Truths come out and they fall - hard - for each other, but at what cost. Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read this book. Rough Ride is a great addition to the True Brothers MC series and a great read!

I was lucky enough to have gotten a copy of this book through NetGalley in exchange for a review, which I am always happy to provide. I became a fan of Gillian Archer after I read the first book in the series and I hope that there will be many more to come. I liked the characters and the storyline, and even though its part of a series you can enjoy the book without being lost in what is going on if you are not familiar with them, there was plenty of action and romance and the emotional ups and downs that comes with love. Very entertaining read.

Actually really enjoyed this book even though I have read none of the books prior. I felt enough was given so you were not lost at all. The chemistry was amazing and the concept and storyline kept me engaged the whole time. Going back to read the other ones now!

OMG!!! You know that moment when you open your Kindle and the next book. But you kind of "forgot" that you had the book. And then you were like, "wait a sec, didn't this series end?". And then you start reading it, and you're like, "HOLY. MOLY. YEEEEEEEES!!!!", because you realize that it's THAT series. The series that you find yourself re-thinking about. Yep. That's EXACTLY how I felt with this one.

DISCLAIMER - Although I won't be "spoiling" anything within this review, I reference things in the previous book that could be considered a spoiler if you haven't read it yet. So stop reading this if you haven't read the other books first. Just sayin...

Amber is the daughter of Switch. Yep, THE Switch. Tank's best friend and the one that no one wants to talk about. But Amber needs answers. She needs to know that the guy who took his life is suffering worse than she and her family are. That's how she ends up in the one place she shouldn't be in. Talking to the one guy who she shouldn't be talking to, and setting up a chain of events that will forever change her life.

Bam isn't a prospect anymore. He's a full voting member of the True Brothers MC and damn proud of it. Having his Brother's backs and knowing that they have his is more than he could ask for considering where he's come from. And he's willing to put all of it on the line once he gets to know Amber. Because now that he knows her, now that he's seen her, he'll do just about anything to keep her not only safe, but his.

YOU GUYS!!!!! I've enjoyed each and every one of these books. But this one! This one had me all wrapped up in bed, flipping these pages, gasping and crying and laughing and smiling and sighing. This story was so much. I loved Amber's drive and courage. I loved Bam's protectiveness and heart. These two really were made for each other. This wasn't just True Brothers MC, this was True Love.

And why does it feel like the end? Where the last one made me "think" it was over, this one "feels" like it's over. Geez. I actually just got really sad. I hope not. I'm honestly in love with these guys!!!!

Amber Bennett is searching for answers, ones that will put her on the path of finding out who murdered her father and permanently broke her family. Her search leads her to the door of a seedy looking bar in a desolate area, and puts in the presence of a very dangerous man with lots of connections and lots of resources; surely he can help her find what she craves to know. But before she can really lay any groundwork for her little plan, they are interrupted by her fathers MC club, and within minutes of their arrival she's tossed over Bam's shoulder and hauled out the door, and far away from the man who might be able to help her with her search. Now how is she supposed to learn the truth about her fathers death...

As soon as Bam enters Howl and spies motorcycle princess Amber Bennett cozied up to a very dangerous mafia man named Ruslan he can't help but walk across the bar and pull her out of his embrace and race towards safety. She has no idea who she is in the company of, or the power he holds, and Bam isn't about to see this beautiful woman fall victim to Ruslan's dangerous life... but Ruslan isn't about to give up that easily. With danger constantly lurking and Ruslan sniffing around her, Bam soon finds himself spending a lot more time with Amber than he ever anticipated, and before long this trouble-making beauty starts to work her way into his steel trap of a heart. And that's a whole new kind of trouble that he doesn't need, or does he?

Within the pages Rough Ride lies an addictive, and pulse pounding tale that is certain to have you blushing one minute and on the edge of your seat the next... it's downright mesmerizing! It's been a while since my last visit with the men of the True Brothers MC club and I have to say it didn't take no time at all for me to make myself right at home with them, they are quite a welcoming, (and oh so sexy) bunch. Bam was quite the character, he has a tough gritty side, but every now and again you see a glimpse of a caring and sweet gentleman there too, and of course he is as smooth as all get out too... the man is a gifted dirty talker that is for certain! This was such a wonderful addition to the series, it had moments of suspense, moments that spoke to the heart, and of course moments to awaken your passionate side... all around good read! Highly recommend!!

I requested an advanced copy of this title from NetGalley, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

If you are like me and enjoy a good MC book but want it as a safe read without all the club women and cheating, then you need to read this series by Gillian Archer. It's completely safe. Well, there is violence but you don't have to worry about the men straying. It may take them a bit to acknowledge their feelings but so far the men are loyal to the women.

This one was a bit more exciting due to the fact the Amber drew the attention of Ruslan from the Russian mafia. It's not a love triangle but he does seem to think he's in love with her. He was sweet in a psychotic sort of way. Amber can thank Ruslan for getting Bam in her life because of his stalkerish ways.

I liked seeing Bam's protectiveness towards Amber and I loved them as a couple. They are younger and you can see a bit of immaturity there but overall I really liked this couple.

When I think about it, I can't believe that I love romance stories about bikers! Gillian Archer has wrapped me around her great collection of romantic, hunky bikers in her True Brothers MC series. (I've read them all!) This story is about Bam, one of the newbies and Amber, daughter of Stitch, one of the older brothers. Gillian Archer has a knack for creating appealing, realistic characters that will be so solid in your mind, you’ll swear that you know them. I even loved the characters in the Russian Mafia! Rough Ride is the fourth book in the series and I can’t wait until the next one! Romance level is spicy hot to boiling over!

Rough Ride by Gillian Archer will be available July 24, 2018 from Loveswept, an imprint of Random House Publishing Group. An egalley of this book was made available by the publisher in exchange for a honest review.

Amber is back home to help her mom get back on her feet after her husbands death. Amber also wants to make sure the scumbag responsible gets what he deserves. When she approaches the Russian mob to find out she garners the attention of a highly placed member of the Bratva (who is a wee bit crazy). Her Dads former MC club is doing business with the Russians. Bam is a member of the club and is surprised and angry to see Amber with the Russians. She has always felt something for Bam and he is way more interested in her than he would like. Sexual tension, danger, humor and hard loving abound from that point! I would recommend this MC read. This is not the first book of the series, but i think it could stand alone. My one sour note is the cover. Bam, through out the book is described as a blonde long haired Viking. That guy on the cover is about the furthest thing from that.

Great biker romance, I loved the chemistry between Bam and Amber and oh god! Bam was such a sweetheart, I want a Bam.

**Received an ARC of Rough Ride from the publisher via NetGalley for an honest review, no compensation was given**
Rough Ride is the fourth book in the True Brothers MC series, this is the first book that I have read but I was able to jump right into this series without any problems. This book is Bam and Amber's story. Amber is a MC princess. Her father is murdered in the beginning of the book and then the story is picked up a year later.
Amber is having to deal with her mother's total decompensation. Amber wants answers about her father's death. True Brothers are being very elusive and refuse to talk to her about anything concerning the details of his death. Amber takes things into her own hands and goes to the Russians for information, that's when things get interesting. Things become a bit sticky with Russians and Amber needs to be protection. And in walks Bam, all tall, blond and Viking! I have to say that I immediately fell for Bam Bam, Ms. Archer hit the 10 on the hotness scale with him.
Bam has been a member of the club for about a year. He is trusted with protecting Amber. I liked that there was a bit of aversion between Amber and Bam.... No insta-love for these for them. There were times that I was annoyed by Amber's behavior, she was very head strong, and not in a good way, it got her into some real trouble. She did redeem herself later in the book, so that was a plus for me.
This book has some twists, some surprises and some very tense moments, which keep me reading. Also, the steamy scenes were very well done. Overall a good read.

So Bam has to choose between his true feelings or his true mc family! It's definitely a great ride! It's hot, sexy, a lot of action, some heartbreak definitely a great read! Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

I liked this book, the overall story was engaging and kept me interested and moved at a good pace, my only issue is that I didn't realize this book is part of a series so there were some references to past events that I didn't know about.

Mafia and tongues and threats to your balls. You sure know how to live.

Ha! How on earth does one get over a sexy Viking-looking caveman biker? You don’t.

If you’ve ever wondered about how Gillian Archer manages to keep people from their beauty sleep, let her introduce you to Bam Bam and Kitten, both the main characters in her fourth installment of the True Brothers MC series, Rough Ride.

MC princess and very-off-limits, Amber proves to be everything Bam doesn’t want or need in his life. He, however, reluctantly has to let her ride on the back of his bike to drop her off at home.

Bam is all long blonde hair and beard. But he’s also human and we find more and more of his layers removed as the story moves on.

Amber, feisty and strong and quick to tell you where you can jump off. She’s annoyed with being followed and more so by this blonde Viking-looking biker who seems just as irate as she is with the situation. She doesn’t let up too easily but given enough time, she finds the upside of being under Bam's eyes.

It was sweet in that badass-biker-who-had-feelings-for-me-and-didn’t-want-to-piss-me-off kinda way.

Too bad there’s a Russian mafioso who can’t seem to read between or above any lines.

Things never go as they should and with a few unexpected twists and turns and wanting to punch through a wall yourself, things eventually go much, much better.

Bam is drawn in but Amber isn’t someone who can be used and tossed away like a toy he might get bored with, as his brothers who form the rest of his biker group are quick to remind him.

I’ve always been a smart-ass. I was just hiding it behind my raging paranoia and rampant stupidity.

But with a very important and altering decision to make, does he brave it for a chance to make the rest of his life one hell of a sweet ride with a woman who matches his stubborn and crazy or for the men who have been his closest family for as far back as he can remember?

This. Book. Is. So. Damn. Good.

It’s an epic-badass-biker-who-melts-your heart-kind of five star read!

I received an ARC of this book from #Netgalley, in exchange for an honest review.

Pros: I loved the pace of the book, always something happening. A book you could read in one sitting if you had the time. It’s been awhile since an author new to me has held my continued interest through an entire book. The chemistry and life trials of the two main characters was totally believable and kept you interested at all times. I enjoyed this book enough that I will now need to go back to read the rest of the series, however, I didn’t feel as if this book was missing anything to be a true stand alone!

*****SPOILERS BELOW*****
Cons: there were some things that were a little rushed, lacked believability or just felt as if there was something missing from them.
1. The h was a virgin, not told to us until seconds before the first sex scene. No problem there. Where the problem did come in for me was that she was terrified each time the H got close to her, but within minutes, he was fully seated within her and she hadn’t even noticed due to the great kissing. Lots of things that didn’t ring true for me in that part alone, but although they seemed to screw like rabbits from then on, no H-O-T sex scenes to make me swoon. I felt that was lacking in this book, but it’s my personal preference.
2. For more than a year, the h’s mom had been an alcoholic to deal with a family tragedy, however, one day, she just becomes sober and starts trying to be Supermom again. A year of alcoholism is not resolved just by a person making a decision and returning to their prior life within a day or a week.

Bam was the typical, HOT, alpha male that we expect in good MC novels, but just felt like there could have been a little more in this story to make it a 4 or 5 star book for me and I felt this writer definitely has more to give!
