Rough Ride is Bam’s story and rather he realized it or not, his life to was about to get complicated. And what better way than with Stitch’s princess daughter Amber. Amber dropped out of college to take care of her grief stricken mother and wanted answers about her father’s death. Soon realizing going to the Russian mafia was the wrong thing to do. Bam has sworn to take care of her but can’t seem to stop thinking about her, allowing their attraction to go further than what it should have. Now the club members are warning him, the Mafia and rival gang Wild Riders are on their back. Who knows Amber and Bam just might make it together!

Love the story. Love the characters. Well written and intense. A new author for but worth the late night read.

I have read all the books in this series and I have loved every single one of them!! These are the kind of books that I’ll go back to for a re-read. And I’m finally glad we got Bams story.

Bam and Ambers attraction to one another is through the roof. Amber doesn’t want anything to do with motorcycles or the men who ride them. And most importantly she doesn’t want a man from her dads MC. Especially the club she feels responsible for his death.
Bam wants Amber in his bed. But she’s an MC princess and she’s hands off. That is until Bam becomes Ambers protector after she digs into her fathers death and gets more than she bargained for.

I did not realize this was part of a series. I now need to find them ALL and read them NOW. I loved this storyline. I loved the characters. I also loved that someone would write about "the life" without judgments. The real essence of living the lifestyle was greatly captured and the sex wasn't so bad either (happy winking face)

Rough Ride by Gillian Archer is the fifth book in her True Brothers MC series and I loved it from first page to the last one. This is Bam's story and one very strong MC Princess, Amber.

Amber has had to step up and be the adult in her family after her father Stitch was killed by a rival Wild Riders MC. Her mom, Brittany Coles is coping with her grief with a bottle so Amber gets a job in a casino and drops out of school. She approaches the local Russian mob boss for answers on her dad's death she meets Bam Bam. Since she refused to ask the MC for help Bam self appoints himself her guard to keep both Ruslan the besotted Russian away. But can Bam calm his libido and not touch Amber because she is under the protection of the club? When a trap is by Wild Riders and someone is injured can she overcome her fears and tell Bam that she'll also be there.

Bam has just earned his True Brothers patch and still work for Maverick in his shop but when he sees Amber at the Bratva's club he know he has to protect her at all costs. The MC is the only family he has after his grandmother passes away so when he assigned to be Amber's guard at the Mother Lode he'll have to keep his feelings buried and claim her as his old lady or risk being booted from the club. When they both give into their feelings will he be able to choose her and not lose the only family he's ever known? Can Amber get over how the MC business took her father and now with Bam can she keep him safe?

I greatly enjoyed reading this story! This is book four in the series, but can be read as a standalone. However, I think you would enjoying reading all the previous books first.
This is a story about Bam and Amber. Amber’s father was in the same MC as Bam and was killed last year by a rival MC. Because of this, I didn’t see how these two would work out. The buildup to their relationship was hectic (from outside sources) and sweet (mostly Bam who was willing to give up the MC life for Amber.

I received an ARC copy of this book to give my review. I’m so happy that this author continues the series with some of the younger crowd. I loved Bam from the old books and feel that Amber was a good partner for him. The beginning was rough and sad but I liked how strong in showed that Amber was. She was able to step up to the plate and while some of her choices were crazy she did what she had to. Bam has also had his own trials but showed that he wasn’t just an alpha biker but a strong and caring lead. He realized quickly what hardship Amber was going through and followed up on that. While both leads are young there strength shows they’re not little kids which helped with the steamy side. Familiar faces are abound and I hope she’s able to continue with more stories about this biker family because that’s the core to this story. Biker stories are great because of the action but I liked how “real” it felt. I highly recommend this book and if you haven’t read the previous ones don’t worry. 5 stars

Bam!! Loved him, and his dedication to Amber was amazing. I will say that Amber is a pain in the booty in the beginning and then again towards the end but with her history it’s not like we can fault the girl, and keep in mind she’s young. Now....it had been awhile since I read this series so it took me a bit to put all the history and players together but once I did I was enthralled. We’ve got the door open for more in this series, and oddly enough I kinda wish it was over Ruslan, for a creepy stalker Bratva dude, his weirdness was intriguing. Bam was all we’ve expected out of our biker males and lovers of this series and world will truly enjoy this.

Love this whole series and finally we get Bam's book. Poor Bam has not had the best of luck and now he runs into a certified MC princess in Amber - and she's having run ins with a stalkerish Russian Mafioso. Just his luck! The wild ride and the sparks between Amber and Bam are great and seeing Bam grow into his own as a patched in member of the MC while Amber struggles with her father's death, her mother's slide into alcoholism (and her subsequent turning around) are engaging but when everything comes to a head, Amber's history nearly does them in. Can't wait to see what's next for this MC.

Rough Ride started out with a bit of a dull note and by the middle I still wasn't feeling connected to anyone in the book. I felt Gillian could have but a little bit more emotions into it and not kept me waiting for the bang. I finished it but it took me a bit to actually want to finish.

Absolutely loved this story. Bam didn't want to fall for Amber, but a crazy Russian started stalking her. The club started protecting her in honor of her dead father, that had been a member.

Gillian Archer's "Rough Ride" is sassy, spicy and oh so good. This latest installment in the True Brothers MC series, is the story of Bam and Amber. Poor Amber, still reeling from the loss of her father Stitch, is done with the Biker world and Bam is the last person she would want t0 be with. Sometimes, however, you find that the one person you shouldn't want is the one person you can't live without. Hot alpha men, spunky heroine, and a family of bikers who stick together all come together to make a book well worth reading.

There are times that even though he doesn't want to admit it, I think Bam gets all jealous, “flowers? What flowers?” Bam demanded." Bam is often times flustered around his woman, “I don’t have standards .” Bam closed his eyes and bit out a curse. “I mean I have standards— clearly— but that’s not what this is about. I just— Eff, why is it so hard to get words out?” I think it's so cute that Bam doesn't understand what his woman is trying to say at times, “You’ve never been with a biker?” Bam blinked at me. “You know we’re like other guys, right? Same equipment and everything. Nothing strange, although I know a few of the guys have piercings. We can talk about that later if you want.” Bam tends to make plans without sharing with his woman and gets upset when they get changed, “what? An hour? When did that happen? I thought we were gonna have the whole afternoon together. I had plans. Wonderful, dirty plans involving you and my beard and your thighs.” I loved this book!

I love visiting the True Brothers MC. Revisiting old friends and making new ones and Gillian Archer didn't disappoint this time.

While I will admit parts felt rushed - maybe I just wanted more of the characters - overall, I enjoyed the story and action within.

Amber's father was killed by a rival Motorcycle Club (MC) gang and her world fell apart. Her mother becomes a drunk and it's up to her to provide for the family. Trying to get answers about what happened to the man that killed her father she winds up on the Russian Mafia's radar. Bam, a member of her father's MC comes to her defense and they begin a tumultuous relationship. If you like MC romance you'll enjoy this book!

I'm not entirely sure what to think about this book. It started off strong, but got a bit cheesy and OTT toward the end. Still, it was a decent MC book. I liked the storyline and I liked Bam. Amber was kind of a mess. Overall, I enjoyed it mostly considering I hadn't read the previous books in the series. I'm intrigued just enough that I might go back and read the others.

I thought it was wonderful how that was added into the story.
You should definitely read this book. You will not be disappointed.
My only complaint is the cover – Bam is described as a blond Viking, but the cover shows a short haired brown headed man. I think this should be changed. I want to see a hot blond Viking! This cover should be used for a different book.
