Thank you Netgalley for the advanced copy in return for an honest review. I have had this book in my kindle for ages but didn’t get around to reading until recently and I’m glad I persisted! This was an enjoyable romance with just the right amount of emotion and complex relationships. I really enjoyed reading about these characters and the story that developed between them. Would recommend to anyone looking for a sweet romance.

This is the 3rd in a series and having not read the previous book I still felt like I had enough detail about the characters for this to be a stand alone story.
This story isn’t a light and fun romance but more of a couple coming together despite the emotional baggage both have. The book really focuses on their coming together despite that baggage as well as getting past that baggage to find their way together. I still think it was a good read and recommend it!

Sexy. Very sexy. Loved the romance and the strength of the main character. I connected to her more than I thought I would. Really liked this.

This is my first book by this author. It’s the third book in the series and I didn’t realize it when I started reading it. There were a bunch of side characters and it got me a little confused in some parts. I did think the book dragged here and there, I found myself putting it down a few times. It didn’t really blow me away. I still think it was a good read and recommend it!

Kasey Lane's Beautiful Wreak was an amazing read. This book had me engrossed in it from the very first page. I had a hard time putting it down. I look forward to seeing what Kasey comes out with next!

An Enjoyable read with engaging characters, however this is best part of a series and I found that reading each book in order was best - the books cannot be taken as standalone.

Gabby move to Oregon for a fresh start to put her difficult past behind her. She moves in next door to the all too sexy tattoo artist Bowen. He is the last thing she needs. He is a recovering addict. Her mother was an addict so Gabby knows all about broken promises and disappointment. They need to keep their distance for the sake of their own personal recoveries. Bowen can not afford a distraction. When sparks fly they can no longer ignore their off the charts attraction. They agree to a fling with an end date. What could possibly go wrong? Sometimes love is the best cure and the strength you need to overcome your demons. Good read.

This book is part of a series but can be read as a standalone. I didn't really know about the previous books before requesting this one but you don't have to read them in order to get the story, the only thing is that you could spoil some things of the previous books.

I really loved the plot and couldn't wait to read it but it took me a bit more than usual to get into the story because I didn't immediately like the style of the author and I had to get used to it. After that, I started enjoying the story a bit more.
I liked the romance and also how the story as well as the characters developed throughout the book.

The only downside was that it was a bit slow in some parts but again, it's more a style preference I guess.

Bowen provided something Gaby had never found before. Her entire life has been an emotional disaster from dealing with her mother to being in foster care. Being with him she begins to feel safe. Bowen is finally getting his life back together after leaving rehab. After falling so far, he feels the need to finally be in control of his life. Each day gets easier and being with Gabby drives his desire to be by her side. Each character complements the other as you look for the one person who will make you feel whole.

I liked this book right from the beginning. Bowen wanting to get to know Gabrielle when he sees her at the weeding. Both are trying to put the past behind them and as much as they try the past still comes to the front. Bowen wants to get to know her but only as a friend. Just getting sober he does not think he could handle a relationship of kind right now. He is though drawn to her curves and the way she handles herself. When she goes to him for a tattoo and the scares revel something from her past she will not open up about what happened. Even after he takes her in after her place is destroyed and the two of them become closer, you as the reader feel a shift between the characters and as the story becomes more intense Bowen just sits there as she pours her heart out to him and lets her walk out. You as the reader are taken to a whole other level with Gabrielle’s character and this last part of the book only adds to a wonderful story. Read this very good book with good characters.

I met Kasey Lane in Beautiful Crazy and fell in love with her writing with Beautiful Wreck was no different despite having a stronger dramatic charge after all we are talking about vices and stalkers.
I loved Bowen too much and his protective way and the connection between the couple is very strong. Gabrielle also has marks of the past and just like Bowen wants a new beginning.
I liked the characters, the plot and the tension behind the stalker I only found the end a little fast.

This is the third book in this series by this author. I've never read anything by this author before and I was pleasantly surprised. This is a darker side to romance with this story. This is a very compelling story, you will be hooked from the beginning. The characters were really likeable and they developed along with the story. I can't wait to read more in this series and by this author in the future.

Highly recommended start to this series

This was a very sweet yet sexy romance between two of the least likely people to get together. Bowen is struggling with getting clean and mending fences after addiction to drugs and alcohol. Gabby is the daughter of an addict and has been disappointed and ignored her entire life. Somehow the relationship does work, and it is believable that they would end up together.
I really, REALLY liked that Gabby was the grumpy/prickly personality while Bowen was more of the positive, happy-go-lucky one. More grumpy female representation!
I was a little disappointed with the ending. I was expecting some form of dramatic stand-off or confrontation--maybe between the stalker and Bowen and Gabby--and when it didn't happen I wondered if I had missed something.
This is the third in a series but can easily be read as a standalone.

This book was intense and had a great story line with Bowen a recovering alcoholic trying to get his life back on track and Gabby with dark secrets of her own. Gabby has Bowen create and tattoo some scarring she has which raises all kinds of questions that Bowen wants to ask yet she is a closed off person so she doesn't relent. The book was great and like I said the storyline was intense but had its hot moments and Bowen was down right hot but there were a few times I had to skim because things got repeated a lot or paragraphs were too long being descriptive on things that felt irrelevant. Other than that this was a great read.

This was a nice, sweet romance. The characters were likeable and developed well as the story went on. I didn't realise when I started this book that it was part of a series but having finished this one, I'd now like to go back and read the previous stories.

This is the 3rd in a series but I hadn’t read the first two and never felt out of the loop. This isn’t a light, fun romance. This is a darker take on romance. The couple both have baggage - a lot of it. And the book really focuses on their coming together despite that baggage as well as getting past that baggage to find their way together. There is quite a bit of sex in this one so if that’s not something you’re a fan of, I’d skip this one. But, if a romance heavy on the sex is ok with you, you may like this one. But, know that this is dark - there isn’t most light and breezy with this story. I still think it was a good read and recommend it!

This was the first book I've read by this author and obviously the first in this series because of that.

Cute story about a guy who is trying to change his ways having hit rock bottom recently. He finished rehab and is now committed to staying sober and getting his life back on track. Then we have a girl who is still dealing with the negative effects of time spent in foster care when she was younger which left her both physically and emotionally scarred. The two couldn't be more different and on the surface it looks as if things should never work out between them. Especially considering her mom is an active addict who hasn't been able to find sobriety.

Gabby and Bowen are just adorable! They both have their own issues that they're working through, but neither is perfect. I think what makes this story so good is that their reactions seem genuine; they shut down when angry, they need time alone, they cry and get frustrated.

The only reason I gave this story 3 stars instead of higher is because the end felt rushed. We didn't really get much closure with Gabby's mom and I would have loved to read more about Bowen.

Beautiful Wreck has all the ingredients need for a amazing story alpha male, sassy female, tattoos and danger. I was drawn to the cover so beautifully done. Kasey Lane has written a sexy, spicy and suspenseful romance. The chemistry between Gabby and Bowen is over the top. You feel the tension and emotions from them. Bowen is a beautiful wreck on the road to wholeness. He has had some hard knocks in his past but he is determined to leave the past in the past. Gabby is running and trying to keep her secrets hid. The attraction between them can’t be denied but will friends with benefits be enough? Is Bowen strong enough to fight his past demons and help Gabby fight her trouble? Will Gabby trust Bowen with her heart and problems? Beautiful Wreck takes us on a journey of two lost and broken souls learning to love and live. Wonderfully written, emotional and heart felt you will not be able to put down until you know the story of Bowen and Gabby. Kasey Lane is a new author for me that has me searching for anything she has written and looking forward to more in the future. I highly suggest you read Beautiful Wreck.

3.5stars
A story about letting the past go and fighting daily to be a better person who is not defined by his past. Gabby wants a new start and she thinks that a new tattoo will help and luckily her neighbor is a tattoo artist and is willing to help her. Bowen is attracted to a shy, nerdy but hot neighbor, friend Gabby but because of his past and new plan how to lif his life finds hard to act on this attraction. So they play a little hot and cold game until Gabby's past comes knocking hard on her doors and they become roommates and soon lover with an agreement. In the meantime, the attraction becomes much more and not both of them are strong for love. Both Bowen and Gabby had sad past, not much fun or joy so they both build thick walls. So it was great to see how little by little we see the real Gabby or Bowen when they are with each other. We see more of Gabby's past and not much of Bowens. I really liked the end it was super sweet. An emotionally love story, with a little bit of suspense and hot action between rock star and a nerd
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly.
