Another great story from Carolyn Brown! She is definitely my go to for heartwarming contemporary romance. This is the second book in the Longhorn Canyon series. I can't wait for more! Highly recommended.

A truly heartwarming western romance about a man and woman who will find true love in the midst of a Texas snow storm. Claire Mason is trying to make it home to Oklahoma, with her adorable niece Zaylie, when her car runs off the road during a snow storm. They are in luck that there is an abandoned cabin nearby and make use of the cabin to keep from freezing. Levi Jackson, foreman for the Longhorn Canyon Ranch, arrives at the cabin only to be confronted by Claire who is holding a gun pointed directly at him. Once Levi explains who he is, he finds himself taking care of them until he can get them safely to the ranch. Since her car is totaled, Claire and Zaylie will move to the ranch until the storm lets up. There is romance and humor as Claire and Levi tiptoe around their emotions, but Levi knows that he is falling in love with Claire. I had not read the first book in the series about Cade and Retta, but plan to now. This is the type of book that makes you “sigh” and feel good when you get to the end. I look forward to reading the next book in the series - Justin’s story. I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to give an honest review. (by paytonpuppy)

I absolutely loved this book. The story flowed seamlessly. The characters were amazing. Levi and Claire were the main couple but, all of the characters played an integral part of the storyline. I was drawn in by the endearing characters and the storyline. The story was open, honest and welcoming, it felt like home. There were also many pets in this book. A cat, three kittens, a dog, a mule and a newborn calf. Everything was interwoven seamlessly to make this a solid five star read. I would definitely recommend this wonderful book.

Once again, Carolyn Brown delivers the best of stories in this delightful tale! Cowboy Honor stole my heart. Levi Jackson is a hero that all readers can swoon over. Too bad he isn't in my stocking this year! I know many readers- whether they be long time fans of the author or newbies- are going to fall head over heels for this book!
