Wow!! This is the second book that I have read by A.J Pine and I have found my favorite author. Her stories are so grounded and riveting that it makes me tingle all over. The first book that I read by this author was Second Chance Cowboy and I gave that story 5 stars and was well deserved. I read this book in one sitting after having to work for 8 hours and not even exhaustion stopped me from reading this book. It was impossible for me to put down. I guess I should give you the summary of the story since I already told you my rating. So let's jump in.!
I'm guessing this is 1.5 of the Crossroads Ranch series because it doesn't involve none of the Everett brothers. This book is also a lot shorter than the first book, but what it lacks in length it makes up for it in awesomeness. This book is about the sheriff and his "Cinderella". Sheriff Cash is enjoying a quiet night on traffic duty when a yellow beetle zooms past him going 20 miles over the limit. At the wheel is Olivia and she is on a mission to find her grandparents' love letters. They both have a painful past and both are afraid to take that life changing step. The clock is ticking until Olivia has to return to the real world, will love conquer all or will this be another event in Olivia's rear view mirror?
The characters had so much chemistry and they basically jumped off of the page. Cash was not your typical hero with his big heart and bad habit of saving Olivia at every turn. He put his heart on the line even knowing that Olivia was a flight risk. It was beautiful when their relationship blossomed from jailer and criminal to lovers. This author just has a way of writing such wonderful characters with amazing compatibility. An invigorating and refreshing story with heart and an amazing small town, Saved by the Cowboy is a great, but short story to read. Pick it Up!!!

4.5 stars
Saved by the Cowboy by A.J. Pine is a quick, sweet, romantic and highly entertaining read.
The storyline is well paced, well written and a perfect Sunday afternoon's read.
From the first meeting Cash and Olivia captured my interest, I loved watching them getting to know each other, rub each other the wrong way and to trust their hearts and not run away from their feelings.
These two might not have been looking for love but once they came into each other's lives there was no denying they were perfect for each other.
Saved by the Cowboy is a lovely addition to the Crossroads Ranch series, each book can be read as a standalone and I highly recommend them.

Super fun read.
We meet Cash and Olivia, he’s the Sheriff of Oak Bluff and she’s running away from commitment, lol. He’s so gruff but such a sweetheart underneath. I loved these two so much.
They both had issues with relationships from their pasts, but they were great helping each other move on, even if it took a little longer for one of them. :-)
Loved this and looking forward to reading more in the series.
*Thank you to NetGalley for providing a copy for which I’m giving my honest opinion*

Cash Hawkins is the sheriff in Oak Bluff, a small town that really does not have much going on. That is until Olivia Belle comes flying in with her little yellow bug and interrupts his dinner, little would he know she would continue to interrupt him during her stay. After having to arrest her for not having her license, and the whole scene at the car is really funny she is later let go only to be caught later that night in the local antique store which so happens to be his mothers. In less than a few hours the crime wave of Olivia Belle has made her presence known and felt. Now comes the reason she is there in town trying to find her grandparents lost letters, not for them but for her. She wants to find their secret on what love is and it must be in those letters because their marriage has lasted for 48 years. Don’t worry she still cause’s trouble not just for the town but for a certain sheriff as well. See what happens with this fun book about to people searching for love. A very good book.

I had such fun with Saved by the Cowboy, and if you love cowboys, small towns, sass, bantering and a love to warm up any heart… then you would, too. As a novella, this story is a rather quick read, and it gives you a taste of the Crossroads Ranch series if you haven’t read the introductory first story, Second Chance Cowboy.
I liked Cash and Olivia individually and as a couple. They both have had relationship troubles in their pasts, they aren’t as trusting as they once were and putting themselves out there to try again is… scary, I guess is a way to say it. Olivia as a magnet for trouble, and Cash reluctantly is getting her out of that trouble as their own unique relationship builds. If you’re looking for a fun, banter filled, laugh out loud moments romance with a couple that simply fits together even if they can’t see that at first, then you’ll want to pick up Saved by the Cowboy… and maybe get hooked on a series as well. There’s just enough information to make waiting for Tough Luck Cowboy to release something to look forward to and it adds a touch extra to this story. I had a good time with Cash and Olivia and would definitely recommend their story and the series to any cowboy loving Romance reader who enjoys a solid story, likable characters and that small town feel.
*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

As a novella this book had it all.....small town sheriff and a run away bridesmaid. This book is great, I laughed at the silly dog and loved the chemistry. Cash wanted to spend as much time with Olivia as he could. It’s unusual for the male lead to realize his feelings and act on them first. I highly recommend this book.

I'm a sucker for a sweet romance and this couldn't have been sweeter if the author tried. It was so good that I even teared up and needed some kleenex by the end.
Sherrif Cash is enjoying his night on patrol when a car goes over the speed limit when he was about to bite into his dinner. He went after the offender and found something that he wouldn't believe possible, something that with time will take his heart away.
Olivia was running from her life and she did not even know it. She thought she was running from a marriage proposal but she was actually running from other things. Running straight to Sherrif Cash arms. If that's not fate meddling, I don't know what it is.
This book was well written with a beautiful romance plot that developed at a fantastic pace and made me fall head over heels for this couple. I can't even explain how much I love this two together.
And don't get me started on the number of romantic quotes I got from this story. I'm so happy I could blab about this book for a long time, but I will spare you.
I would recommend this book to those that love sweet romance with a lot of emotions. It was such a beautiful tale *sigh happily* I can hardly wait to read Lily's and Luke's story next.
I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book provided by Netgalley. The opinions expressed are my own.

Loved reading the engaging and enthralling romance story. Olivia Belle races into town, gets pulled over by the Sheriff, Cash Hawkins, and then breaks into her grandparents old house looking for their love letters, trips the alarm and Sheriff Cash Hawkins comes to investigate. Read the highly recommended and wonderfully written love story.
I reviewed a copy of the story through NetGalley.

I loved this novella. It is well written and I just loved Cash and Olivia.
It is a novella but it is well done. It didn't feel rushed at all.

Crossroads Ranch #1.5, My First A.J. Pine book and it left me with a good first impression. This was a very cute and fun read a nice novella. I loved the characters and their chemistry, they had some great banter too. Cash Hawkins came back home after college with a broken heart and buried himself in work as the local Sheriff. He's content with his dog and his job and he never realizes just how lonely he is until Olivia Belle speeds through town. Olivia was running away from a proposal and toward some answers. She believed she could find out what love is by reading the old letters her grandparents exchanged before they got married. Olivia thinks herself as broken because she has never fallen in love she wants answers and is determined to find them in Oak Bluff. But her answer comes in a way she wasn't expecting.
Cash realizes the extent of his feelings first and he's not shy at admitting them. Olivia is a little slow on the uptake she keeps thinking she needs to learn how to love by reading someone else's story. Overall this was a nice read. It can be read as a standalone but it's has a real ehh introduction to the Everetts who are the main family in the series and it just raised more questions without really tantalizing you into reading the other books. It is still unclear as to if Olivia was still technically together with Michael when she hooked up with Cash therefore making her a cheater or if running away from him right after he proposed counts as a break up? I for one think it counted as a break up.

This novella in the crossroads ranch series brings together the small town country sheriff and the executive city girl in an explosive courtship that takes them both completely by surprise.
Olivia is in town on the hunt for old love letters between her grandparents, and somehow manages to keep running afoul of the law in her search...speeding down a dark country road somewhere just shy of light speed, wearing a bridesmaids dress and carrying no possessions, including her wallet.
After her initial run in with the sheriff after her speeding incident, she tries her hand at a little B&E - breaking into the home her grandmother once lived in...and just so happens to be owned by none other than the sheriffs mom.
Yet despite her penchant for getting herself into trouble, Cash can't seem to keep his mind...or hands...off of her. Olivia and Cash fall hard and fast, two lonely souls that have finally found what was missing. But the obstacles of their divergent lives could put a definite crimp in their fledgling love.
I completely enjoyed this short romance by A.J. Pine. I was pulled in by the chemistry and banter between Cash and Olivia - rooting for them to fight the odds and come out on top - together.

“I forget to breathe around you, sometimes.”
“I guess that makes two of us. Because you take my damned breath away.”
Much like the book itself, I’m going to keep this one short and sweet—A.J. Pine’s Saved by the Cowboy is a wonderful, easily read and easy-to-enjoy novella. It was the perfect read for a busy weekend; a well-written book that had feels and heart, that called to me when I had to put it down and walk away, and that left me with a tall, dark and handsome reason to smile.
Not to mention, another reason to anticipate the next book in Ms. Pine’s Crossroads Ranch series, which was teased tantalizingly here and will be available—thankfully—in just a couple of weeks. Until then, get saved by this sometimes-cowboy—he (and his Speed Racer) are most definitely worth it!
He didn’t hold back. He didn’t worry about self-preservation. He just kissed her like it was the last time he ever would.
~ FIVE Dixie STARS ~

I swear, every book A.J. Pine writes just gets better and better. I can't get enough of her words, and this is no exception. I felt every single feeling, and it was if I was right there with them, experiencing each and every emotion and situation. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up and five beautiful golden stars.

I’ve been reading romance novels for years. What I haven’t done was venture into the world of cowboy romance. That’s all changed with A.J. Pine’s latest novella Saved by the Cowboy.
Since reading this novella, I’ve already looked into getting book 2 in the series and I already own book 1 that’s sitting next to me ready to read. Pine hooked me with her characters early on. That’s always key for me. It also helps that there’s a small town setting, even if it wasn’t explored too deeply this time around. There’s a hint of that great small town feel that I enjoy finding in the romances I read.
I’d rather not go too deep into what made this novella work so well for me. It’s a good one to dive into without much info. It was hard to put down once I started and I hope both Cash and Olivia show up again in the rest of this series.

Cute and fun
This is my first book by A.J. Pine.
What I liked:
The writing style
The characters
Part of a series: Crossroads Ranch
Standalone
HEA
I look forward to reading more from this author and the other books in this series.

This quick novella was a great addition to this series. I'm not usually one for insta-love stories but it just absolutely works with this book!
Cash is the sheriff of Oak Bluff. When he pulls over a woman speeding through his town in a gown with no ID, he should have known that Olivia would shake him up. Olivia is running to Oak Bluff to find the letters her grandfather wrote to her grandmother during their epic love story. These two embark on their own epic love story and while this story is short, I loved the evolution that took place for them in their brief time.
Cash's book has made me super excited for book two in this series!!
*This is my voluntary review of an advanced reader copy*

What a great story, I wanted it to be longer. Hoping that I meet them in other stories in the series

This book has on page sex and mild cursing (no f-bombs). If one sex scene will cause you to leave a bad review, you should skip this story.
This was my first A.J. Pine book, and I have to say that I really enjoyed it. Some novellas are frustrating because the story is rushed or half of a story, but I thought the pacing in this one was really great. I found myself intrigued by the love letters story line and really invested in weather Cash and Olivia got their happily ever after. The humor in this book – both of the subtle and the laugh out loud variety – was really great. I loved Cash's inner (and outer) snark, and the way that Olivia was a total hot mess, but she was also totally cool with being a hot mess. That's my kind of book heroine. But under Olivia's hot messness was also a really great, if slightly broken, woman. And Cash was sexy and sweet despite being guarded and a little bit grouchy at times.
If you're looking for a quick, easy read that is really interesting and pretty funny, you should give this story a try. I will definitely be looking to read more books by A.J. Pine in the future.

This book was really good but kinda short! I know we were told it's a novella but I usually don't read short books cuz I feel you can't get the whole story?! But this one did it right! Although I wish it was longer lol this is cash and Olivia book, Cash is the local sheriff and Olivia is a runner from love! She's ran away from love her whole life! Cash clocks her speeding into his little town, she's there to find her grandparents love letters from when they were younger and in love she thinks of she reads them it'll clue her in on how to not run and love the right way! It's definitely a cute little story and if you've read the rest of the series I highly recommend this book! Thank you NetGalley and grand central publishing for sharing this book with me!

Ok I normally like this author, this book not so much will not continue to read this series. I don't mind insta-loves but this story was just too rushed. In this day and age for these two to have sex with no protection, what?, yeah can not condone and cheating hate it.
