This is the first book that I have read by this author and although the story was good, nothing really stood out about it to make it special in my case. However I may have read some exceptional books lately.

Dr Aiden Denali is a trying to help wolf shifters like himself battle a change in their DNA which means they are aging faster than they were and he is trying to fins out why and getting as many packs as he can to help them.

Dr Holly Gray wants to help but so far has been denied by her pack leader, when a chance meeting in a mall with Aiden gives her his number she decides to help anyway, especially as she finds out that he is only near them at present to find and help a banished member of her pack.

The story moves quickly, there is drama, some sexy scenes, that just fell a little short for me, and a decent ending. I feel something more could have happened with the pack leader Ronald and his brother Jared, but I can see how it would resolve better how it did. I just feel his bad behaviour was suddenly gone far too quickly.

The book was decent and had a fairly solid story, the character were mostly ok, but for me it just lacked a certain spark, which does not mean that this could be a good book for you.

A Billionaire Wolf for Christmas is the 26th book in the Heart of the Wolf series by Terry Spear. Each book is a stand-alone and is about a different couple. Some subplots might be related to the other books, but I don't think that a new reader will have an issue if they just decide to read this book.

Of all the books in the series, this is the one I remember the most. Aidan’s research was very interesting and one of the reasons why I was up all night to finish it. Of course, Holly and Aiden’s relationship was also one of the book’s good elements, but what really drew me in was the research. It might sound bad, but it really was not. I enjoyed the rest of the book too and it still was a romance, so for me, it was a win-win situation.

<i>A Billionaire Wolf for Christmas</i>is a thrilling read filled with sexy moments, emotional roller coasters and on of your seat danger that keep me glued to the pages I just couldn't put it down.

Aidan Denali is looking for a cure for lupus gargous’s to help the wolves longevity, but what he finds changes everything including his personal life. Aidan's first love is science, that was before Holly strolled into his world. I adore his comical side.

Holly Gray a pack doc finds herself butting heads with the leader of her pack, strict rules with no contact to anyone outside of their pack. To find a cure Holly joins Aidan’s team to save all wolf kind. Holly discovers so much more when she sets out on this adventure.

Aidan and Holly have their work cut out for them, but one thing is for sure these two know how to have a good time in private. lol Can they save all Wolves kind? Or will it cost them their lives?

There are so many supporting characters that have a huge role in <i>A Billionaire Wolf for Christmas</i>, they all helped make Aidan and Holly’s story be more entertaining. I am looking forward to checking out more by <b>Terry Spears</b> wolf world..

The plot is full of fun family moments, intense passion, danger and action. I enjoyed my first book by Terry Spears. I found it was hard to put down. I went back and picked up the first book Rafe & Jade's story in the <i>Billionaire Wolf series</i>. I loved Aidan and Holly together and how they interacted with each other as well as the people in the packs. I enjoyed all of the the characters. I highly recommend it.

I’ve been meaning to read something by Terry Spear for quite some time now although why I went for a Christmas story, when I normally avoid them like the plague, is beyond me. I gave it a shot and to my delight it was a good book. The Christmas portion didn’t over take the story instead it seems like a nice compliment to what was going on.

Werewolves normally have a long lifespan but suddenly it has started to decline and Dr. Aidan Denali is trying to figure out why. He’s not in it for the money, instead he is doing it for the greater good of the shifters’ survival. Heading out to do some holiday shopping puts him in the path of Dr. Holly Gray whose pack doesn’t seem to be suffering the lifespan decline. Determine to find out what is so special about her pack, together they begin to work on a cure. Not everyone is happy about their collaborations, particularly the Alpha of her pack, but that’s not going to stop them, especially when their working relationship begins to shift into something more.

Holly and Aidan made a good couple although I did find their romance was a little too insta for my taste. I know, I know, shifters tend to make that bond fairly quick. I however, like a bit more build-up. I liked the characters Mike and Ted. They didn’t come off as great bodyguards but they definitely were entertaining. It was easy to determine their intent was to be the comedic relief. Holly’s Alpha, Ronald, was a piece of work that was easily to hate although, being this is a Christmas story, you knew somehow he was going to redeem himself.

My overall impression was this was a nice read. I enjoyed the premise of the werewolves lives in danger and they needing a cure. The tension and seriousness wasn’t overwhelming so the story came out a bit on the lite side. I’m sure the time frame of Christmas was the cause of it. I personally would have preferred a bit more harsh darkness considering it was a life or death matter but still, for my first read by this author it wasn’t bad. I’d consider reading more of her books.

A fast, fun read. Although the werewolves lives in danger and they needing a cure, the tension and seriousness wasn’t too much. The story taking place during Christmas kept things from getting to heavy. The story also works as a stand alone novel if you haven't read her books before or haven't read one in a while.

The heart of the wolf continues to beat strong as this series moves forward with a story about two people brought together under near impossible circumstances with a single minded goal—saving their people from extinction. This goal has driven Dr. Aidan Denali for almost two years, ever since it was discovered that their people were beginning to age as humans, losing their normal wolf longevity, and having a partner to share in his research and help him understand how to save everyone is more than he could have ever hoped for in his future mate. So when he meets Dr. Holly Gray, the attraction he feels, while not surprising, is surprisingly strong, and undeniably the biggest thing he has ever felt in his life. Holly has devoted her entire adult life to protecting her pack and family, ever from the madmen that control it, so when she meets the amazingly smart and sweet Aidan she has no compass for what he makes her feel; except that she knows he is not someone she wants to lose connection with. I enjoyed getting to know Aidan more, having had peripheral knowledge of him from his brother’s romance in a previous novel, and getting to know him a bit as he worked to solve his race’s health concern. He is obviously a man of intelligence and chivalry, but he is also a wolf and with that come a bit of alpha strength to go with his sweetness and of course the sensual heat of any beast. He was such a mix of sweet and strong, smart and brave, that you couldn’t help but fall in love with him, which of course makes the speed that Holly gives in to him easily believable. Holly was another story altogether, but I liked her just as much. Her inner strength made her the perfect match for Aidan and let us know that their pairing would be an equal one, whether in the bedroom, the lab or in their fur, because they were simply made for one another. I loved seeing how they managed to work together despite everything and everyone being against them, and still find their love together, and of course the passion between them was undeniably hot as hell. I am looking forward to whatever comes next in the series and knows that, while it is a long running one, this series will never get stale and there will always be something interesting and amazing in each new story. Another great addition to a series full of amazing males and the females that steal their hearts.

As always Terry Spear delivers an exciting and sexy read seasoned with a little humor and a lot of romance! The characters were intriguing and the storyline was interesting. I did feel that the excitement of the story lagged when Aidan and Holly spoke about the lifespan issues the wolves were having but it never lasted long. I really didn't care for Holly's alpha. The guy was a real jerk. Overall, this was a pretty good read!

3.5 Hearts Depends on how you look at this. It is either #2 in the series or #26… Mainly I look at it as #26 and to be honest I have enjoyed most of the series but it is getting a bit old for me. Spear has found her niche’ which I get and she has stuck with it a long time but I wonder what else she can write. There is only so much you can do with wolf shifters.

That being said the story is good. It has a bit of Christmas feel to it but after having read so many of her books I want for something different.

The romance is good and if you are a fan of the genre with a Christmas flair pick it up.

A Billionaire Wolf for Christmas is a fun, suspense filled story with a happy ending. Terry Spears wtites a believable story and you feel like you could be friends with these characters. There always seems to be a twist that you don't see coming. I can't wait for the next Billionare Wolf book or any other of her stories. I recommend any story and I became a fan with the first book I read. Keep the stories coming Ms. Spear.

I truly enjoyed this supernatural romance. Despite not having read the first book in the series, the author gave enough details of previous happenings that I was able to understand the entirety of the plot - always a plus for me!

Despite working non-stop, Dr. Aiden Denali has been unable to find a cure to the malady that is shortening the lifespans of werewolves. He's tested the blood of nearly all the packs he knows of, and all are showing signs of the mutation. There is only one pack left, and their alpha has no intention of working with him. Then a search and rescue call comes out to help find an exiled member of the hold-out pack. If Aiden can find him, he can save the older gentleman and get a sample of his blood. It's a win-win. But he isn't the only one searching for the missing wolf.

Dr. Holly is also on the hunt - for the missing exiled member of her pack, for a way to help find a cure for the epidemic without going behind her alpha's back, and for a way to get out of mating the alpha's bruiser brother. When she meets Aiden in the wilderness area the missing wolf was last seen in, she sees possible answers to all her issues. Now if she can survive snow crevasses, angry alphas, and being swept away in billionaire style, she may find true love for her under the Christmas Tree.

The book was a great escape. The characters were multi-faceted and fun to get to know. It was light, enjoyable, and the perfect thing to unwind with after stressful days. I recommend this title for fans of Wen Spencer, Kim Harrison, and C.L. Wilson

Heart of the Wolf #26, The wolf shifters have noticed a decline in their life span Dr. Aidan Denali is determined to figure out how to fix it. The Seattle Pack just may have the answers if they ever allowed other shifters in their territory. Aidan is going to find out if the isolated pack is immune to the change in life span or if they are infected too. When he learns the former Alpha is a lone wolf, banished from the pack Aidan thinks he may have his way in and at the same time offer the wolf a permanent home in one of the other packs. Along the way he meets up with the Seattle packs only medical doctor, Dr. Holly Gray. Holly and her family are more than willing to help Aidan. The attraction between Aidan and Holly is strong enough for her to defy her own alpha to help Aidan. When the Alpha of the Seattle Pack starts to get more and more demanding and dictatorial Holly and her family think it's best and safest for them to leave the pack. Aidan and his brother welcome them into their pack with open arms especially since it seems more and more likely that Aidan and Holly are going to be mated soon.

The story was okay, it was a lot of talking between Aidan and Holly about the cure and what could cure the decline in lifespan and messing with the Seattle pack's Alpha and his major malfunction but mostly Aidan and Holly falling in love which of course with Terry Spear books the romance is always good, always enjoy her romance. The building of the relationship and the bonding between the families was good. Overall, it was a nice read.

A BILLIONAIRE WOLF FOR CHRISTMAS is the second book in Terry Spear's Billionaire Wolf series. Terry Spear paints a cozy scene as Dr. Aidan Denali and Dr. Holly Gray fall in love during the Christmas season, cuddle, wrap presents, and share their dreams as they work side by side. In addition to the sweetness and light, and sexy snuggle time, these two doctors also battle the elements and unruly wolf packs as they work on the declining lifespan of wolf shifters. Danger and holiday delights are balanced perfectly in this tale of werewolf doctors in love.

I love stories with a hero and heroine who respect each other as equals and have great chemistry - this definitely describes Aidan and Holly in A BILLIONAIRE WOLF FOR CHRISTMAS. Aidan has it all: money, intelligence, and a sweet and sexy side. Rather than being a super aggressive and entitled alpha jerk, Aidan is a caring man and he has an understated strength that is incredibly attractive. A chance meeting at a shopping mall, with Aidan playing the part of hero, proves a heady combination for Holly, and the two are gobsmacked by their initial attraction. Holly's pack leaders try to block her from working with Aidan and exploring their mutual attraction, but she is a strong woman and doesn't let anyone push her around. I love how this hero and heroine have so much in common and how they get along so well. The way Holly and Aidan are so well- matched and in sync make this romance more fun read. The conflict in A BILLIONAIRE WOLF FOR CHRISTMAS doesn't come from any friction between the hero and heroine but from outside sources. An accident in the snow-covered wilderness bonds Holly and Aidan closer together, as well as having to face down antagonistic werewolves. Aidan shows that he is capable of defending himself and those he cares about, and Holly proves to have a core of steel like the man she loves. Through it all, Holly and Aidan work as a team and act as a united and positive force in their wolfy community.

In A BILLIONAIRE WOLF FOR CHRISTMAS, two doctors fall in love and save the werewolf world one wolf at a time. Terry Spear crafts a story that is homespun, full of humor and family unity, and tops it off with a few thrills and a sparkling romance. I look forward to Terry Spear's next wolf shifter romance.

Aidan was a gray wolf shifter as well as a doctor who needed new wolves to test. He was searching for a cure for the lupus garou’s reduced longevity. He must now wait until after the Christmas holiday. Maybe his twin brother Rafe was right. Perhaps joining Rafe and his family early would give Aidan the break he needed and he would gain new insight into what was happening to their kind. Aidan was worried he'd fail in his mission when so many people were counting on him. The concern among the wolf shifters was that if something in their environment or genetics had caused them to live shorter lives , their lives may continue shorten and they would eventually age quicker than humans. Aidan was known to be obsessed and a workaholic. Ted and Mike were Aidan’s bodyguards his brother had hired to protect and guard Aidan and they were surprised to see him out of the lab so early that day. Then Aidan got a call from Everett Johnson from a wolf pack in Montana. The Seattle pack would not let test their blood they didn’t even allow any other wolves near their territory just their own pack. Everett called to let them know an older wolf had been shunned for no good reason by the pack leader after losing his mate. If he could find the wolf-Nick he might let Aidan take a sample. Dr Holly Gray was going looking for Nick alone as she previously couldn't find him. Aidan had stooped a little boy who was a shifter from the store he was being kidnapped but Aidan stopped the woman even after she hit in the head with her purse that had a gun in it. But He still help on to the woman and she was arrested. Holly and her sister had the little boy- Joey with them when he got away from them. Holly hadn’t met another male wolf she was instantly attracted to until she met Aidan.. Holly met with Aidan and Ted and Mike and her brother-Greg was with her and they spotted Nick but it was too late to go to him. They would try again the next morning.
I loved this book -again the author did an absolutely great job. I didn’t want to put this down. I loved Aidan and Holly together and how they interacted. I loved that Aidan and his brother Rafe were willing to help any wolf who needed help if they could. I was glad Ronald was changing his way as well as Jared I loved how Rafe was so protective of Aidan. I loved the plot and pace of this book. Happily I can find nothing to criticize in this book.I love the characters and the ins and outs of this book and I highly recommend it.

This is my first read of this Author's Werewolf series and I was not disappointed .

I love shifter books with a difference - and this book has that difference .
Werewolves' lifespans are in decline , their survival at stake ………. what is the cause ?
Dr Aiden Denali heads out with his bodyguards to do some Christmas shopping - he needs a break from the problem , he needs a distraction if only for the afternoon . His path soon crosses that of Dr Holly Gray - her pack has no such lifespan problem and together they are determined to find out why .
But others are not so happy at their collaboration ……….. especially Holly's pack Alpha .
Nothing is going to stop them especially as their working relationship has shifted into one of intense attraction .
It was different to see Werewolves live in danger and needing a cure ……… it was a different point of view .
The other characters added to the story especially the interactions with Aiden's bodyguards .
However I did find the "instant" attraction between Holly and Aiden difficult to take - although this seems to be the norm in this type of book .
Overall I enjoyed the book and even the "villain" found redemption at Christmas .

I was given an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review

When the wolves' own blood betrays them, they risk their lives to find a miracle.

Wolf shifter Dr. Aidan Denali has been working day and night to find a cure for werewolves' alarmingly sudden decline in lifespan. The key to the problem eludes him. But when Aidan grudgingly leaves his work to do some holiday shopping, he meets a remarkable she-wolf whose mysterious pack could bring him one step closer to the answer.

Dr. Holly Gray is thrilled to meet the wolf who's been working so hard to help others. Now, it's her turn to help him. But while their attraction is sizzling, the packs are at odds, and the danger is increasing. It's going to take a holiday miracle for Holly and Aidan to get themselves--and their loved ones--out of this alive...

Review:
I enjoyed this book!

It was fun to read and had some classic tropes, but the Author did a good job of making the story fun and exciting. Set around Christmas time, so if you are getting in the mood already this would be good to read. The backdrop of the wolves aging prematurely was an interesting twist and lead to some interesting situations for Aidan and Holly. Speaking of Aidan and Holly, these are two smart and likable characters. Aidan is almost a comically good guy, but has just enough edge to make him one dimensional. Holly, is smart and strong willed, who cares for her family and pack and will do what she can to help them.

I have read this Author before and enjoy her writing style and will continue to enjoy reading more from her in the future.
