We love westerns around here and Johnstone is one of our favorites. My husband has read every book he has written. I don’t think the books are as good as when William was alive and writing on his own but we are hanging in determined to read all his books

Damnation Valley is book four from The Frontiersman series. I thought it was really good. I give it 4 1/2 stars.

My 70 year old uncle's started me reading the Johnstone series of books last year. I have yet to find one that is less than a great read. This one did not disappoint. You can never go wrong with a Johnstone in your TBR stack. Although they usually work their way to the top of my stack!
