Back to Charmed, Texas- I am so excited. I love this little town and case of characters. It seems the leads alalways know how to make an entrance or make themselves know to the town.

Michah Roman is feeling from her own wedding and jumps on the back of a motorcycle with an unknown man. Leo McKane is headed to Charmed, the home of his long lost brothers. Leo is not only bringing into Charmed a runaway bride, but a past filled with secrets.

Charmed is the same old charming place with the locals making their presence in their special and fun way. Leo and Michah are both needing a place to stay and end up "dorm" mates. A little too close for comfort, their attraction is off the charts. Micah is dealing with a scorned groom and Leo is dealing with an unforgiving brother. Yet there are secrets looming that will connect this gang in a surprising way.

Great writing that gave us the sexual tension and romance as well as intrigue and suspense as to the unraveling of the big ball of secrets. The community is once again featured and I love their interactions. Cannot wait for the next in this series.

The fourth book in the Charmed in Texas series, Charmed at First Sight introduces readers to Micah Roman and Leo McKane. They have an unconventional first meeting when Leo helps Micah escape after her failed wedding. He is headed to the town of Charmed to work and find his brother, and he takes her there with him.

They both try to find their place in the small town while both dealing with how to move forward from difficult pasts. Micah and Leo connect almost from the moment they meet, but I was glad to see her form a strong friendship with Gabi as well. Especially since she had lost most of her friends during her relationship with ex-fiance Jeremy.

All of the couples from the series make appearances, and I liked getting glimpses of where their lives are at. The author does a great job with making the town of Charmed a quaint, quirky place that is fun to visit with each book.

I am crossing my fingers that the next book will be about Micah's brother Thatcher and Gabi!

Charmed at First Sight continues the Charmed, Texas series. The book begins with Micah as a runaway bride who is rescued by motorcycle riding Leo. Leo is heading to Charmed, and Micah goes with him since she has always wanted to go there. A series of adventures and missteps take place as our couple try to put their pasts behind them, so they can ,over forward together. Readers get the chance to catch up with the couples from previous books in the series, as well as get some background on Gabi who will be the heroine in the next book of the series.

If the synopsis grabs you, you'll probably enjoy it! It's got a runaway bride, a controlling ex, Instalove, and a town quirky enough to give Stars Hollow a run for its money. The side characters are a delight, and I'm excited for Gabi's story.

The biggest trope conceit you have to buy to make this work for you is Instalove. If that's not your bag, you'll eyeroll this for sure. However, if you're good with that, then I think this one is worth your time.

Wow! For some reason I wasn't expecting that! I usually only read rom com cuz that's my favorite but wow this book was so heartpounding, steamy, action packed, and just all around a great written story!!! I absolutely loved it! Now I have to go back and read all the others in the series! You definitely don't have to I didn't even know there were other books until I looked! This is Leo and Micah book yes Micah is a girl, it had me laughing at times, telling at them at times, and a few things happened that I never would have guessed! I highly recommend that you read this book! It was awesome! Sharla Lovelace definitely earned a new reader!! Thank you NetGalley and Kensington publishing Corp for sharing this book with me! I really enjoyed it!!

This is a story comprised of characters who melt your heart and delve into your emotions. Ms Lovelace is a gifted storyteller who creates unforgettable stories, that are heartwarming and with brimming with humor...especially here with Micah’s inner monologues.

Leo and Micah’s story takes you on a roller coaster ride of romance, discovery, tension, suspense, and some pretty good edge of your seat conflict...throw in some curveballs and you have one story that you can’t put down and hate for it to end.

I am looking forward to the next installment of the series, Gabi’s story.

I HATE JEREMY. Never mind that he is psychologically abusive, who buys someone a car that they have to pay for?

This town is great. I really want to live there.

Omigod, I almost choked on a Goldfish reading the Micah-Deidre-catfight scene!

Why would she yell at poor Leo for defending her?

Rot in hell, Jeremy.

Aunt Ruby sounds really interesting.

Leo is so out of his element with Micah, “what the eff am I doing?” he asked under his breath as if it wasn’t meant to be out loud. “What the h*** is it with you?” he said, his voice gravelly. “You make me crazy.” I liked this book, I loved how Micah and Leo would push each others buttons.
