This was a fun read. Loved Sage right off the bat and Sean was certainly a funny character. Lots of great friends.

4 stars. Loved it. Sage and Shawn have smoking hot chemistry. Sage the daughter of a hippie yoga instructor working as an accountant for stable life opposed to how she was raised also teaches therapeutic yoga. Shawn an NFL player and adrenaline junkie risking his life for close moments in the memory of his mom who was also a thrill seeker is injured. The two meet and have a one night stand and then mutual friend of both that neither of them knows, puts Shawn in contact with Sage to assist him with therapeutic yoga. Can't wait to read about the other players.

This is book 2 in the Lightning series. This one is about Hunter's (Book 1) teammate Shawn and a friend of Emerson's (Book 1) Sage. Shawn and Sage meet at a bar and after making eyes at each other all night, they end up having a quick hookup in the back of the bar. Neither expects to see the other again, especially since Shawn couldn't get Sage to give him her number afterwards. But that changes when Shawn needs to have therapeutic yoga to help him heal his back after doing something his contract specifically says he shouldn't. And Sage has to accept because of the actions of her mother. They try to keep things professional, but things change. And they after they really start to know each other, they both start to fall. Until something happens that Sage doesn't think she can deal with. And Shawn has to decide what he wants more. Sage or his adrenaline rushes.

I really liked this one. Sage is just trying to keep things together after growing up with a mother who is beyond flaky and never wants to grown up. After her mother leaves her in a bind yet again, she is just trying to find a way to fix things. Shawn deals with his problems by doing things that are dangerous. But underneath all that he is such a great guy. And reading about them actually becoming not only friends but falling in love was great. Especially when they both realized that they never really faced their own demons, they just found ways to hide from them. And then realized that their love for each other is more important than hiding. Such a great read.

Another fantastic read in the Lightning series. Sage and Shawn. Night and day. Sage is running her mother's yoga studio while her mother is off yet again finding her bliss in India. After her childhood Sage settles for the sedate and predictable world of numbers. She's an accountant. She also keeps her mothers business going, that way everyone gets paid, bills sorted, taxes done. Shawn comes to her via a friend after he injures himself cliff diving in Mexico. Training camp starts in two weeks and he's still having pain in his shoulder. He finally agrees to try yoga and there he meets again the elusive Sage. The woman who ran from him after doing something she's never done before. Sage has just learned her mother emptied out the business bank account, and Shawn is at the door and could the day get any worse when Shawn wants personal treatment from Sage only so when Sage names an astronomical fee, he quickly agrees. He writes her a check and wants to start right away. Day after tomorrow, because he's busy the next day. Busy is what Shawn does when he can't outrun his past and those feelings catch up with him. Shawn is an adrenaline junkie, he's however pushing the limits now and even his best friends are calling him out on it. Then there's Sage. What happens when Shawn takes one step too far? I loved these two together and such a great read. Plot is smooth, the flow is perfection and the pages flew by and it's stellar. Tracy is a favorite. Consistently great books!

This is the first book I've ever read from this author and I would like to say thank you to the author and publisher for the ARC.

The title suits the story and gives it justice. It was a very hot and I mean sizzling hot with a touch of little heavy drama. The characters are very likable, the storyline was simple, and the cover is oozing with hotness of Shawn (I mean just take a look at the cover). Both characters are going through some obstacles and they seem to be opposites, but you know what they say opposites attract. It was a quick read and I didn't want it to end (I wish the story was longer).

All in all I loved it and I highly recommend it to anyone who loves hot romance. I can't wait to read the first book in this series (I already have added it in my Kindle) and her upcoming books.

Overall Rating: 5 Stars

Well this just gives me all the feels. After reading the first book, I was hoping to read Tanner’s story next. But I’m very happy that Sage’s story was first. This was so good!!!!

Sage is Emerson’s BFF. She runs her Mother’s yoga studio and is an accountant for a few other small companies as well. She’s lived her life by the books, so to speak. But one night while out with co-workers, she ditches the rules and allows herself one night of passion. One night, that apparently, turns out to be more than just one night...

Shawn is the star receiver for the pro football team in San Diego. After winning the Super Bowl, he took a vacation that’s put him in a tough spot. Why? Because he injured himself doing something against his contract. And now he needs to make sure he’s ready when training camp starts in a few weeks. Good thing Emerson suggested her friends yoga studio. Because when he shows up, his one night stand is standing right in front of him.

This book lives up to its name, Hot & Heavy indeed. From the very beginning, the chemistry between these two is scorching hot. But it’s the back story for each character that pulls you in. And when self preservation kicks in for both Sage and Shawn, the end game is nothing short of fireworks!

Now, can I get Tanner’s story???? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeease?

This was a solid four star read until the ending, but I'll get to that. Hot & Heavy was the perfect name for this book. I loved the explosive chemistry between Sage and Shawn. Even with the one night stand, it worked for me. I really felt the intensity and connection between them. They were exact opposites who fit perfectly together. I didn't hate the ending, but I thought it was rushed and out of character, especially for Sage. The impulsiveness of it fit Shawn. I just think it was unnecessary and would have worked better if the situation had happened in an epilogue months later. This is still a great book and perfect for a quick read on the beach or by the pool.

Sage Kaufmann is a free-spirited yoga teacher/accountant left with the responsibility of keeping her mom's studio afloat because her mom goes from one destination to the next looking for her destiny. This lifestyle leaves Sage with trust issues.

Shawn Wilson is a football player who is also an adrenaline junkie. There are demons from his past that makes him feel the need to keep doing dangerous things.

Meeting Sage gives Shawn a new outlook on life. But one more adrenaline fix puts this new relationship in jeopardy.

This book was okay. The first few chapters, where Sage and Shawn are in the club were funny and built up the attraction....but then the book just didn't deliver like I hoped. There was attraction based on a few interactions, but three was no real buildup of a relationship, the story seemed to jump around a bit, and the ending just came out of nowhere. Overall, not as good as the previous book in the series.

After reading Tracy Wolff's Down and Dirty and meeting Shawn, I was looking forward to his story, and this did not disappoint! Shawn and Sage's beginning was nothing short of exciting, hot and fun! Totally the stuff dreams are made of! At times I was intensely frustrated with Sage's reluctance and Shawn's recklessness, but it enriched the story much more that detracted from them. I loved hot even though Sage was nervous and was held back by her past, it didn't keep her back from pursuing Shawn. I loved how each other confronted their issues and became stronger together,

The title of this book perfectly describes Sage and Shawn's relationship from the start. They had an instant attraction so the book got off to a quick and fun start. While I enjoyed both of their characters, I found Sage to be a little inconsistent - sometimes she embraced her conservative side and other times she seemed a little loose. Still a fun read.

Hot & Heavy is another great book by Tracy Wolff. The writing was great and I really loved Sage and Shawn. The chemistry between the two was palpable and the characters on their own were interesting enough. What starts as a hookup at a bar ends up becoming far more than either imagined. Shawn is a professional football player who has experienced tragedy early in his life. Because of that, he's an adrenaline junkie who is putting his career at risk. Sage is an accountant who also runs a yoga studio due to the absence of her mother. Sage has her own issues to deal with and never thought she'd hookup with a stranger at a bar. She's dealing with her own insecurities and abandonment issues that stem from her flighty mother just picking up and leaving constantly. I found that this book did a great job of dealing with loss and heartache. It's something that many can relate to. I do wish the Wolff focused more on their pasts. While I enjoyed the physical interactions between the two, I would've loved to read more about their backgrounds.

Football and yoga? Yeah, it works. I already loved Shawn from the first book in the series, but paired with Sage he rally shines. His demons and her insecurities are some big obstacles to overcome, but I never once doubted they could. Sexy, emotional, and romantic.

Sexy fun romance

Tracy Wolff's Hot & Heavy was a very enjoyable romance. I absolutely loved the chemistry between Sage and Shawn, it was off the charts. I thought they were believable with personal baggage which gets worked through for a very satisfying HEA.
I received an advance reader copy from Netgalley.

I loved this one! Shawn is such an easy character to love and Sage, while she was a bit uptight, I was happy to see her play hard to get. Not that she was playing. Her insecurities made it look like she was only partially interested. It worked for me because I just love it when a heroine makes the player type hero really work for it. Shawn and Sage both deal with some past baggage but it didn't over power the story. They were fun to read about and I can't wait for the next book.

I loved the first book in this series (Down & Dirty) a lot. But I felt like where Down & Dirty had this sparky chemistry and sexy banter - Hot & Heavy was all about the sex. The pacing was very fast and the connection was nearly 100% physical and I struggle to connect with stories like that. I love a sexy story as much as the next romance reader, but I need MORE than sex to really buy into and/or care about the story. I was disappointed in this one and ultimately it was a DNF for me at 40%.

I liked Sage and Shawn together after they got to know each other better. Not a fan of stranger sex in a bar. Also like that they both had good friends that supported them. Sage's reaction with what happened at the lake seemed too extreme for me. With the good characters I would have liked to have read more development of the relationship.

Hot and Heavy

📚💕⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💕📚

Well let me start by saying I have become a huge fan of this author. She writes with so much intensity and emotion pulled from each book it’s felt page after page. Some are quick witted story lines are so perfect and lets you believe you have a front row seat. So being able to read this love story didn’t disappoint. The authors ability to have two separate individuals struggling in their everyday life and try to navigate someone else’s thoughts, needs and desires was intense and gives all the fills.

Authors Blurb: When a daredevil football stud tries to get into your yoga pants, you know class is about to get interesting.

Sage: Although I come from a long line of free-spirited yoga teachers, sometimes I wish my life could be just a little more normal. More ordinary. More boring. Easier said than done, especially since it’s on me to keep my family’s studio up and running every time my mother wanders off to find herself. But that’s when my best friend sends me a sexy new student: Shawn Wilson, a slick wide receiver with a death wish and a chip on his broad, muscular, irresistible . . . wait, what were we talking about again?

Shawn: They say I’m an adrenaline junkie. The truth is, I only really feel alive when I’m risking my life: Snowboarding, parachuting, BASE jumping . . . the kind of fun team management considers breach of contract. When my coach orders me to take yoga to “center myself,” I’m pissed—until I get an eyeful of delectable, flexible Sage Kaufmann. Unfortunately, she’s determined to keep things between us strictly business. But if Sage can get me to enjoy downward dog, maybe I can convince her that scorching hot sex could be the perfect shot of adrenaline.

I really enjoyed this book and it kept me engrossed throughout. I really loved the characters and the way they interacted with each other. This is a fun, hot, romantic must read book and I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

This book has everything I love in a book. Then you add that it's beautifully written and believable. It is easily a five star read. Written in dual POV my personal favorite this story flows so incredibly well that the next thing you know your 80% into the book and loving every second of it. The believable way the characters interact is perfect. Run, Hop, Jump or use your (1 click) finger to do whatever you have to do and get this amazing book. It'll break your heart, you'll want to scream with frustration and it'll let you discover that love just might conquer all. The chemistry is steamy and sweet and oh so romantic.

Thanks Netgally for letting me read and review.📚💕

Electrifying chemistry, two wounded hearts finding their perfect match in an unconventional way...a one night stand... against a wall in a bar... The chemistry was definitely not the issue, it was all the other stuff and boy did that make for some marvelous storytelling.

"Is it wrong that I want to lick him?

Hot & Heavy is a standalone, though each book focuses on a different player on the Lightning football team. The first book in the series, Down & Dirty features Hunter & Emerson which happen to be the best friends of Shawn & Sage which are the H/h in this story. So, you can expect to spend some time with some sexy players and some fun friends in every book. What's not to love about that?

One of the things that I love about this story is the broken characters. They are both running from demons and their pain is reflected in their lifestyles. They seem to be polar opposites, him being a daredevil in the spotlight and her being an OCD buttoned-up control freak. But when they accidentally run into each other there's no denying their #InstaLust for each other. Personally, I think that even if she hadn't broken her #TwoDrinkRule she would still have noticed him. "—Let's be honest—I'd have to be dead not to notice this guy. Notice him, hell, just knowing he's in the room is suddenly taking up all the oxygen."

Shawn is very likable. He's not rude, cocky and arrogant like many of the celebrity athletes I've read before, but he's also used to women flocking to him. He's not ever had to make the first move, he just shows up and they come to him. But when he sees her for the first time she makes eye contact, but she doesn't approach him. They eye-fuck each other, but she doesn't take it any further. It's driving him crazy.

Sage is not looking for trouble, but she finds it. "—the moment our gazes lock, I forget about normal. Forget about usual. And instead try to keep my panties from dropping straight to the floor." She'd never had that kind of reaction to a man before and doesn't quite know what to do with it. He doesn't approach her, but she feels the heat in his stare. And let me tell you, I felt the heat too! My Kindle was almost too hot to hold while reading this story, but you couldn't have pried it out of my hands if you tried.

Yup, I'm addicted to reading Tracy Wolff romance. I happened upon the first book by accident, then I devoured her backlist, and now I get excited with anticipation with the announcement of each new title. She never disappoints. The line forms here...
