Rainn On My Parade is a very good inspirational romance. The characters were very realistic and I enjoyed their interaction.. I recommend this book to readers who enjoy a good clean read.

A rescue from a tree she'd climbed to help a cat is the start of a serious attraction between Geneva and Rainn. But Geneva is 12 years older than Rainn - will she be able to overcome her fear of the age difference? Things are complicated by Geneva's concerns about her sick sister, her daughter's upcoming wedding, and the shop the two sisters have recently opened, as well as the disappearance of Rainn's sister that has left him to care for his autistic niece. Will they be able to overcome all their difficulties to make a life together, or will Geneva give up?

I found this book quite readable, with well-drawn characters and an interesting setting. In addition, the content is clean and the language good. My problem with the book that brought the rating down to three stars was Geneva's dithering (and to some extent Rainn's lack of communication). It felt like the last half of the book didn't have a lot happening, it was just Geneva unable to make up her mind about things that seemed relatively trivial when considered in context. The other issue was the lack of communication between the two - Rainn never really talked about his plans for work, just seemed to expect Geneva to read his mind or something.

Overall, an okay book that could be turned into a good book by some paring down of some parts and expansion of others. I wouldn't go out of my way to recommend it, but would be interested in trying something else by the author in the hope that it would have less 'dithering'.

Note that I received a free copy of the book from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. I was not required to write a positive review and this is my considered opinion of the book.
