This book was such a good book. I read it and enjoyed it very much. I highly recommend it to anyone.

Even picture books are great from older readers, and I try to my students daily. This was a fun and quick holiday read. It is geared toward children younger than 6, but my students enjoyed it being read to them.

I don't love rhyming picture books. Often these stories work too hard to maintain the rhyme. On that front, this one doesn't fare too badly. The bigger problem is that this doesn't do much to distinguish itself from the plethora of Christmas books out there. Sure, its cute to see all of the dinosaurs doing various holiday preparations. BUt there's no real plot. And the final turn confused me a bit.

I was so excited to see that Lisa Wheeler was creating a Christmas version of her much loved Dino series. Since I live in Southern California, my students do not get to see or participate in a lot snow related activity. I loved that this book shows the dinosaurs ice skating, sledding, and having snow ball fights. I love the sense of community and excitement that the dinosaurs have around Christmas. The rhyming verse keep readers enjoying every fun aspect of the book. The illustrations are the filmier and fun images that we know and love. Each picture has fun details and makes for a fantastic read aloud. A great addition to any Christmas list.

I am a big fan of Wheeler's Dino-Sports series, but this book just isn't as good. It lacked the fun feeling of her previous books, and I didn't feel the rhyming flowed very well. Will not be purchasing.

Santa Claws is coming, so Dinos of all sizes play in the snow, decorate the town, have snowball fights, eat cookies, and have a parade as they eagerly await the big day!

Written in rhyming verse and paired with fun, bright illustrations, dinosaur lovers will want to join in the fun as they see Raptor, Stegosaurus, T-Rex, Triceratops, Diplodocus, and many more dinosaurs prepare for Christmas!

This was fun! How can you go wrong with dinosaurs and Christmas? My kids loved it and I enjoyed the rhyming.

Lisa Wheeler have written a many dino books, but this one was the one I was SUPER excited for. Dinosaurs and Christmas could not be a better combination for kids. I could envision reading this at story time in my old library in December with plenty of Christmas themed crafts to pair with it!

All the Dino's are getting ready for Christmas with plenty of winter time activities, decorations, a little mischief, and a lot of fun. All your favorite dinosaurs make an appearance and work together to get ready in time to see the one and only, Santa Claws.

This book can be a little lengthy and drag just a bit in certain places, I felt it could have been parred back just a little more. There were also a couple word choices that might also leave kiddos scratching their heads. We loved the way it was written in rhyme though and it was relatively easy to find a good flow for most of it.

Either way, this is a book for your Christmas collection. The illustrations were beautiful, vibrant, and didn't miss a single detail. Even on the cover, the stockings are dino-shaped! For kids who can't get enough dinosaurs, this books has them all.

My students and I have been fans of Lisa's Dino series for a while, and last year had the honor of her visiting our school during a statewide tour to promote early literacy. I heard that this was in the works, and was excited to receive a copy from Netgalley. It is just as cute as the other Dino books and I know my students will love it. We always look for the sneak peek at the end to see what to read next...look for it in this one!

This book cleverly tries to use the names of dinosaurs to make "names" for the dinosaurs, however it felt clumsy. Some of the rhymes are forced and I felt that the attempt could have been accomplished with fewer dinosaurs. Overall, kids who love dinosaurs will appreciate this Christmas themed book (if they celebrate Christmas).

I love the “Dino” books, and this one is no exception! I was a little worried because it wasn’t a book about sports, but it worked out fine. Kids will enjoy it and I’m glad that the series is branching out, but still being faithful to its roots.

This is the newest edition to the Dino series, this time about celebrating Christmas. This book shows all kinds of winter sports from sledding, snowball fights, ice-skating etc. Once they get cold, they go inside to warm up and drink hot chocolate and eat smores. Then it is back outside to decorate the outside; park, buildings, trees etc. Christmas Eve finds them all sleeping until the parade next morning where Santa brings them gifts. Watch for the naughty ptero twins throughout the story. The story is told in rhyme which makes it easy to read and fun to listen to. The illustrations are amazing. Lots of colour and expression. The dinosaurs are cartoon like, so they are not scary for the little ones. A cute series for young readers, especially those that love dinosaurs. My grandson loved it and wanted me to read it again and again. I know what he will find in his Christmas Stocking this year.

The Dino’s are taking a break from sports to celebrate a little Christmas cheer. In its standard sing song rhyme, the dinos deck the hall, have snowball fights, and await Santa Claws. A great story in the line up perfect for dino fans during the holidays.

A perfect mix of dino + Christmas. I loved the vocabulary and the rhymes. I feel it maybe a little long for babies but toddlers and over will enjoy this title. Also, enjoyed the Christmas themes without the religious scripture.
