This book was so good. I didn't want to start in the middle of the series so I one clicked the first book and read it.
The second one was better because it was much more angst and will they won't they.
I really enjoyed the hate to love aspect of the book the most. Man Jesse really hated Isla at first.
Great job Rachel with another outstanding book.

I adored this book. I loved the first one and this one did not disappoint. I loved the hate to love relationship with Isla and Jessie. The chemistry was amazing. Goo-Poh was so funny! I think I have just found a go to author. Her books are entraining, funny and sweet all in one!

Isla and Jessie have unfinished business according to Jessie. He is upset (rightly so) that Isla helped his now ex-wife to destroy his reputation for her own gain. Isla tries to make amends in her own way which were quite lacking to Jessie's liking. Both of them find themselves questioning their sanity when they take their game to the level where they have to pretend to be in a relationship. The situations they find themselves in lend themselves to push each other's buttons. Isla's aunt, Goo-Poh does not help their situation at all but was quite the comic relief in this story. RVD did a good job of sprinkling humor and wit throughout their story. I did enjoy it and was interested to see how she was going to bring these two together in the end. I did read the first book in this series and, although I was quite able to follow along, I don't necessarily think you had to have read it for this story to make sense.

A solid follow-up to Dirty Exes, Isla and Jessie battle it out as they both deal with the fallout of the events in the first book. Jessie is determined to put the PI business that ruined his image out of business. Isla is trying to save the company she built after a disastrous divorce. The only solution is the one that puts them together. A fake relationship might solve both of their problems, if only they can keep their emotions out of it.

Another funny, sexy book by Rachel Van Dyken. It was also great to see the machinations of the first book's couple continue.

Isla doubted Jessie and in doing so ruined his reputation. Now Jessie is out to ruin Isla...and it's going to be one heck of a ride!

As Jessie is hatching his plans to take Isla down, the two of them get caught up in a kiss - that gets witnessed by the whole world. In order to get out of their predicament, Isla, Jessie and their friends come up with a plan that involves a big ring and some wedding plans. Who knew that on the way to the altar, a passion would be unleashed that turns something that was "fake" into the real thing!

I loved the fact that Isla and Jessie both had little quirks. The quirks made me root for the future of their relationship even more. I really loved that eventually it was Isla's oddities that made Jessie realize how much he loved her. I definitely want a Goo-Pah to show up at my house with a marriage bed and some chicken!

As always, Rachel left me laughing until I cried, eager to turn the next page and ready for more when I get to the last page. I can't wait to see what happens in the next book and hope that the wait is short!

I thorough enjoyed this story, it was the perfect relax, sit back, and prepare to laugh. This story revolves around Jessie and Isla, who we met in Dirty Exes, Colin and Blaire's story. Jessie and Isla get themselves into one thing after another and sometimes its not even their fault!! I loved the chemistry between Jessie and Isla, also that sexual tension was off the charts. I completely feel in love with Jessie, he seemed to change so much and grow and dam he was funny. He could really give it to Isla, with the highlighting jokes, note taking, scheduling. You cannot discuss this book without an honourable mention going to Goo-Poh, she was the bomb. Between her chickens and traditions, I can't explain you just need to read the book. Goo-Poh was an amazing character, her love for her niece and the lengths to which she goes to show it is hilarious. If what you seek is a easy, light, funny, quirky read then you need this book. I look forward to Rachel's next story.

LOVED this installment, but then I love most RVD books. Especially loved Goo-pah! As usual, great characters, engaging story and really hard to put down. Can't wait to see what RVD does next.

In Dangerous Exes (Liars, Inc. #2) by Rachel Van Dyken we are brought back into the folds of Dirty Exes, a PI firm that catches cheaters. This time to follow the escapades Isla and Jessie. After Dirty Exes investigated Jessie, his reputation was ruined and now he wants revenge – but when everything gets more complicated and all the faking becomes reality will all the black and white survive the arrival of a rainbow?

If you are looking for a fun read with some great banter and a Goo Poh (you will just have to read the book) then this is for you. I received a copy of this book through Net Galley for my honest review.

I have been waiting to read this since I finished Dirty Exes. We are once again in Blaire & Isla's world, except this time it's all about Isla's happily ever after. Due to 'circumstances', she is forced into a fake engagement with the man they wronged, Jessie. Neither she nor he can resist the fireworks between them. She is colorful, organized chaos and Jessie begins to realize maybe color isn't so bad after all! We have the original suspects from book one; Blaire, Colin, Abby, and Jessie's poisonous ex; but we also meet Isla's hilarious character of an Aunt, Goo-Poh. Sizzling, sassy, sexy, steamy, hilarious, tender. All the feels and tasty deliciousness Rachel is so good at delivering! I received an advanced copy. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review.

After reading Dirty Exes, I was excited to get Isla's story in Dangerous Exes. We get a little bit of Isla's explosive scene with her ex in the first book, and from just that I wanted more about her! This book did not disappoint. First, Rachel Van Dyken took me not really liking or caring about Jessie, to not only being invested in him, but actually liking and rooting for him. Isla is this brilliant mix of spitfire and caring female. Plus, we meet her Goo-Poh, and that woman is a force unto her own--the humor she brings to the story is amazing! This book just gave me so many feels. I would recommend reading both of the books in this series!

Rachel Van Dyken is one of my favorite romance authors because she has romance, humor, and normally plot and character driven books. Her books to me are brain candy: easy, yummy, and enjoyable. This book definitely has the insta-love thing going so if you don't like that maybe this book isn't for you. This is the second book in a series but can be read as a stand alone.

The dynamics in this book between Jessie and Ilsa are explosive. I loved every word of this book, the banter and the all around I'm going to get you attitudes of both were hilarious. Also the emotions coming from both were heartbreaking and heartwarming all at the same time. I enjoyed this book so much, I didn't want it to end.

I recieved an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review. I liked this book. Rachel Van Dyken is one of my go to authors for romance books. This one is the sequel to Dirty Exes and even if you could read this book by itself it makes more sense when you read Dirty Exes first. Isla and Blaire own a PI company that in Dirty Exes was hired by Jessie's ex-wife. With a crazy aunt, a manipulative ex-wife, an angry man who wants payback and a woman who wants to keep her business booming this story had many moments of comedic humour, angst, and frustrating feelings.

Isla and Jessie are complete opposites, but both have been hurt by past relationships. When the sparks between them start flying and a reporter catches them kissing the duo decides to fake being in love to keep their repuations clean. The only problem with faking being in love is sometimes you forgot your faking...and when you already have your plan of revenge in motion things tend to hit the ceiling.

Honestly, my favorite character of this book was Isla's aunt (Goo Poh) because she was so bat crap crazy and I would love to see her in another book!

Rachel had her hands full with the task of making Jessie more likable. I was a little biased against him since the first book. She did a great job turning him around and had me loving this couple. This book was funny, sexy and a little intense. It's an all around great read.

Not too often do I enjoy the 2nd book in the series more than the first, but that was the case with Dangerous Exes. I was looking forward to Jesse and Isla's story and Rachel Van Dyken didn't disappoint.
Isla was so fun, strong and real and Jessie well he was smoldering and a complete sweetheart deep down. There was plenty of humor and sexiness to this book and I would definitely recommend it.

Dirty Exes was fabulous and I wasn’t sure how RVD was going to top that with Dangerous Exes but she did. This book is about co-owner of Dirty Exes, Isla and the other co-owner Blaire’s ex-boyfriend Jessie. They are very entertaining as they try to get to each other before they get caught up and give into attraction for one second. After that they have to figure out how to fix it. There is a plan formed, powder blue wall, life lived for comfort not aesthetics, tea, chickens and one fabulous great aunt. This book is full of entertainment and I could not put it down. Isla and Jessie trying to get the other to give in is so funny to read and their tactics are so funny and not the best thought out plans. Anyone who is meticulous or a planner will get a kick out of it as well because Isla is my soul sister with her planner, lists, highlighters, pens and so on. Also let me tell you if you enjoyed any book with Grandma Nadine I’m almost certain Goo-Poh is her BFF. Happy reading you will not be disappointed.

If you read Dirty Exes, then you have already met Jessie and Isla. This is a standalone, however, I was a bit cloudy on what happened at the end of that one so I read the last few chapters as a refresher to Jessie's situation. So while Jessie and Isla were friendly in Dirty Exes, they are now enemies.

Jessie feels completely betrayed by Isla and blames her (and his ex-wife) for his current situation. He wants to destroy her reputation like his got destroyed. Isla feels bad for what happened, but will not let him wreck her business. The mutual attraction is muddled in the mutual "hate". Good Lord above, Jessie and Isla have some fantastic chemistry!

I usually have problems with enemies to lovers because the animosity and conflict give me real anxiety. That did not happen here. Jessie and Isla help each other change and become their real selves with humor and feeling. I love when I don't want a book to end. I wanted more at the end. GREEDY!!

I absolutely love this book. Totally recommend reading this book.

Isla is a PI and a badass. She is one tough woman. Her ex did a lot of damage to her so much that she didn’t trust men. She was striped from everything but yet came back fighting. I love Isla and the way she worked.

Jessie is an ex-NFL. His ex wife is evil and he blamed everything on Isla. He thought his life was ruined. He had a wake up call. He is so sexy. I love Jessie.

When Isla and Jessie got together they were like any other couple. They would fight, argue and banter with one another. They couldn’t stand one another but that quickly changed. I loved them together. Isla aunt is no joke, she is hilarious. They made a great team.

I couldn’t put this book down. Rachel Van Dyken you are amazing and talented woman. Absolutely loved this book and can’t wait to read what’s next.

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC. I really enjoyed Dangerous Exes, it was smart and well written with a lot of "laugh out loud" moments. It was easy and enjoyable.

Loved this romance! It was a combination of friends to enemies, hate to love and fake relationship mixed in one. Isla and Jessie were too cute together. They meshed well even when they wanted to hate each other. They freed one another from their terrible pasts and allowed one another to be true.

The romance was well thought out and took time. Steamy scenes were well written. Secondary characters all amazing. My favorite secondary character had to be Goo-Poh as she was bold, funny and eccentric.

Great romance. Definitely plan to read the other books in this series.
