This was an intense read! So much action. I enjoyed it even more than the first book in this series!!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own

If you have read the first book in this series (Dirty Exes) then you absolutely need to read this one. If you haven't read the first book then backtrack and read that one first! This story picks up where Dirty Exes left off just following Jessie and Isla and the trouble that they create. I don't want to give anything away but know that the story involves crazy chemistry, ocd tendencies, fake relationships, proposals, fights, a crazy aunt, dragons, a marriage bed, and chickens.. crazy right? Just read it, its great!

Laugh Out Loud Funny! I've read all of Rachel Van Dyken's books and when you can smile and snort-laugh when reading a book - I call it a good one. Rachel's books have a way to make you feel all throughout, to cheer for the characters and embrace them.
Jeremiah wanted revenge for everything Dirty Exe's PI took away from more specifically he wanted to run Isla! Only he didn't expect to feel.
Isla wasn't going to let Jeremiah take everything that's she has worked for - besides it was his ex-wife that caused all the problems.
This is a fantastic Enemies to Lovers book! I highly recommend it.

As alway Rachel did it again. This is a fun love story. The story somewhat started in the first book but you definitely don’t need to have read it to enjoy this book. The story of Jessie and Isla is fun, hot and funny. You will be laughing out loud and rooting for them by the end.

I love Rachel Van Dyken's books. I was amazed and excited to receive a copy.
This is Rachel Van Dyken's second book in the Liars Inc Series. It's also a spin off from her Wingman Inc Series. This follows Blaire and Isla who became Private Investigators with their own business called Dirty Exes Inc, after being burned by their dirty, filthy, cheating exes. Now they bust your dirty, filthy cheating partners with their proverbial pants down.
This is Isla's, Blaire's best friend and business partner and Jessie, Blaire's exes book.
Isla is a planner, everything is in order, colour co-ordinated, highlighted. Takes her job and business seriously. Jessie is black and white, clean, neat, controlled.
He's also trying to get his life back on track after getting humiliated by his manipulating, conniving, cheating ex-wife who she hired Dirty Exes to catch him cheating, but was the innocent party, his wife at the time made it look like he was. But it was her all along.
So now he's out for revenge and he's gunning for Isla and Dirty Exes to 'destroy her like she destroyed him, from the inside out.' Feeling betrayed and hurt he goes to the extreme to try and clear his name and ruin Isla and Blaire's company.
They both end up playing each other to see who gives in first. That is, until things get a little out of hand and a bit complicated. So to cover their butts they say that their together.
Could this work out for them to save Jessie's reputation and Dirty Exes?
Isla's Goo-Poh (Aunt in Chinese, due to Isla being half Chinese) is hilarious, she's all for traditions, everyone has that one relative that's a bit crazy. She's Isla's.

Isla's grandma is laugh out loud funny her.
Isla decided to be fake engaged to Jessie in order to save her business and to clear Jessie's name in the process, just as you would suspect a lot of things back fire on them but the things that didn't is that Jessie learns to loosen up and learn to let color into his life read the book and then you will understand what i mean by that. Isla learns to trust and to let loose with things that she can't control

A rom com with a crazy edge. Definitely not to be read if you’re after a serious romance novel, because this book is definitely not to be taken seriously. If you’ve read book 1 (and it is preferable that you have), you know that the characters are going to be a little on the ‘quirky’ side, for want of a word, I’m trying not to use the word crazy here. Following on from his sham of a marriage and divorce in book 1 Jesse Beckett is out for revenge. Number one on his hit list is Dirty Exes, and most specifically Isla Turner, and he’s willing to do whatever it takes to get payback. His plan however completely backfires when they are caught in a compromising position and forced to play nice in public in order to save both their reputations. Fun, flirty, adorably sexy with a lot of Swoonworthy moments. I adore both Jessie and Isla (Jessie the most, because, well, I’m a girl), I love their crazy, I love their inhibitions and I love their truths. I fell in love with Jessie in book 1, he is oh so perfectly flawed, and I’m desperate for him to get his HEA, he deserves it. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.

I liked Dirty Exes (book one), but I was really excited for Jesse and Isla’s book. Those two had my attention from the start, because I felt that there was something more to explore.
Dangerous Exes was just so much fun to read. I was invested in these character’s lives right from the start. I was rooting for Jesse and Isla to get their act together and instead of being on opposite teams and playing dirty, to play for their team. Once they figured a couple things and their games became more playful and flirtier it was so good!!!! Swoon!!
Jesse and Isla, couldn’t be more different, yet fit so perfectly. Isla was Jesse’s color, that pop of red that he desperately needed in his life, but wouldn’t accept. The whole book was Jesse and Isla’s foreplay, they tease, they fight, they get into heated situations, and then BAM!. One of my favorite parts was when they went to the football game! Damn, a game has never been so hot ;). The book starts by seeking revenge for hurt feelings, but we all know revenge is a dirty game.
“This isn’t over.” “Stop stalking me,” I whispered back ducking my head against his chest as he wrapped his arms around me. “You’re a good kisser, Isla.” He tilted my chin toward him. “But it’s not enough—I will shut you down, that I promise.”
Dangerous Exes, was hiarlous. Isla’s Goo-Poh (Aunt Betsy) was literally the icing on the already amazing cake. All I’m going to say is chickens, tea-potion, and dragons OH MY! Lol trust me you do not want to miss out on this.
It was an awesome follow up to book one. I am so happy while I was reading this. Jesse and Isla just made my heart happy and I was smiling from ear to ear.

ARC in exchange for honest review.
If you are in a book slump go and pick up this book and you will be cured.
If you read Dirty Exes then you definitely need to read this
I wasn’t sure what to expect this book was great.

Oh my gosh, I just loved this next book in the Liars Inc series! Isla and Blaire, whom we met in the first book, are partners of a PI firm that investigates spouses’ that cheat and provide proof of it....or not in some cases. Jessie is the case they take on in the first book and the second book is him getting revenge. He blames Isla for the downfall of his reputation because she took on his ex-wife’s crazy notion that he was cheating! However, Isla and Jessie come together in this book in a way that will have you laughing out loud and shaking your head at other times:) Absolutely worth a read, as is anything by this author in my opinion.
I loved it but would definitely recommend reading book one first otherwise you will be slightly lost with the dynamics of the book! Thank you RVD and Netgalley and the publisher for my advanced copy for which I leave my willing and honest review.

I absolutely adored Isla and Jessie. Hate to love is one of my favorite tropes and Van Dyken did not disappoint. They end up in a pretend relationship to help smooth things over in the eyes of the media. Their banter was on point and you could really feel as their feelings towards each other changed as time went on. They have the sweetest coming together and it's the stuff of fairy tales.
Blaire and Colin are still around and a part of the story, which I always appreciate. It's nice to see how they all fit together and how they're a family.

Thank you to Netgalley for allowing me an opportunity to review this book for an advance reader copy.
I have been working my way through Rachel Van Dyken's books and stumbled across the first book in this series, Dirty Exes not too long ago and loved it! I was left wanting more, and that's when I learned of the next book in the series, Dangerous Exes, which I have been awaiting (impatiently) for.
Wow. Just wow. Where do I even start? If you've read book one in the series and thought that was a good read, hold on to your hats, because book two will take you for a wild ride! The beauty of this story is you are brought back to the worlds of Isla, Jessie, and the rest of the crew. The raw emotion that Rachel Van Dyken is able to portray is incredible. You go from being excited to angry, then full on belly laughing, to feelings of betrayal.. The roller coaster takes you on such an adventure that you don't want to put the book down. This was one of those reads that you pick up and don't want to walk away from until it's done.
At the end of the day, the trials and tribulations of Isla and Jessie will keep you on your toes and wanting more. I can't wait to see what Rachel is able to offer next!

This is the second book in series, and I love Rachel.. This is Isla's book she was the second partner in the PI firm Dirty Exes. I really hope you read the first book, Dirty Exes you will need it in order to understand the story line. In the first book we had met Jason he was Blaire's (other partner in firm) ex boyfriend from years ago, the one that got away. Blaire and Isla were hired by Jason's ex wife to catch him cheating.-go read first book. In this story Jason is on a mission to destroy Dirty Exes because he feels they destroyed his life, which I was a little upset about because it was his ex-wife Vanessa that was the culprit in all the things, she was really horrible, anywho so he is out to get them, mainly focusing all of his anger on Isla, he feels that Blaire will be ok because now she is has Colin. So Isla and Jessie have a war going on and as they start a fake relationship, it changes except he did something he shouldn't have and it can come crashing down on him..Bad Jessie..Anywho it was funny and something that you just needed at right time..I was so happy to have Blaire and Collin again, I just love him.

Friends to Enemies?!? This book picks up right at the end of the first book in this series, Dirty Exes. The main characters, Isla and Jessie are the focused couple in this book. Isla has the impulsive need to control anything and everything in her life. She has the reputation of being a stalker extraordinaire. She is funny, quick thinking and has a smart mouth. This girl is organized, she loves lists, highlighters and the scrapbooking aisle. Jessie is a man scorned! After his ex-wife went to the press and caused him to have to step down from a charity he started, he is out for revenge. Who better to direct his anger towards, than Isla. He's hell bent on ruining her business the same way she helped ruin his reputation. Little dies he know that is world of black, white and gray is about to be spiked with a whole lot of RED! Isla and Jessie start inserting themselves into each other's lives. There is hot box yoga, impromptu visits to the nursing home to see Isla's Aunt Betsy, football games and so on. Ah Aunt Betsy, gotta love a nosey family member who wants to offer up sex advice to her niece and encourages Isla to use her love teas. She is amazing!!From here the antics these characters get into is laugh out loud funny and totally swoon-worthy. The author has hilarious banter between not only the main couple but the supporting characters as well. All's fair in love and war, until you fall in love with your enemy, and bring color into his life! The tension between these two is crazy fabulous, and don't forget the chickens! This book is an absolute must read! Rachel Van Dyken knocks this romantic comedy out of the park. She always said you should have a two twirl moment, and she delivers! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Until Next time, Read On Angie #Dangerousexes #netgalley

I fell hard for the first book in this series and I was over the moon with happiness when I received this book! I was so excited to get Isla story, she was so fun and quirky in the first book, I could not wait to see her story unfold. I loved Isla and Jessie’s chemistry. It wasn’t as hot as Blair’s and Colton’s from the first book but still HOT! Isla was so fun, strong and real and Jessie well he was smoldering and a complete sweetheart deep down. Both of their past relationships were completely heartbreaking. They had been through the ringer and deserved better. This story had it all from the suspense, angst, that’s full of drama one moment to laughing my head of the next. I don’t think there is story the Rachel can write that I won’t fall in love with! And what I love most about her is that her writing is never the same yet she’s always able to either blow my mind or ripping my heart to shreds.

Ooooooh my, Rachel Van Dyken has wow’ed me once again! Dangerous Exes is the second installment in the Liars, Inc. series and I have to say both novels are absolute must reads!
I always enjoy the “fake relationship” premise in romance novel and Rachel Van Dyken does a fantastic job with putting her spin on it with Jessie and Isla! I thoroughly enjoyed the snarky back and forth banter between Jessie and Isla, but I also knew at the heart of it they were both genuinely great people who deserved to find happiness! I loved the supporting characters and was excited to get updates on Colin and Blaire! Dangerous Exes is a 4.5 star read that is the perfect combination of sweetness, sassiness and steam! And as per usual, I am excited to see what Rachel Van Dyken will come out with next!!!

I don’t even know where to start. This book had it all. I laughed, I would have maybe cried if I was a crier, and had me in the edge of my seat wondering if they would get their happy ending. Although Isla’s ain’t May have stolen the show.
The story was great, it flowed smoothly and although I would have liked more of Goo-Poh (because let’s be honest the woman is crazy and who wouldn’t want more of her antics.) I read the book in one sitting and couldn’t put it down.

I love these characters and this series. It's a spin-off (ish) from The Wingman Inc series about Ian's sisters. This one is about her friend and business partner, Isla and Blaire's ex boyfriend Jessie.
"I thought my life was over that day in the wine shop.
And then I met my soon-to-be-best-friend Blaire and realized...
It had only just begun."
I fell hard for Dirty Exes, the first book in this series. That book was intense with the amount of chemistry Colin and Blaire had. Jessie and Isla had a good amount of chemistry but this didn't hit me as hard as the first book did. There was a nice amount of humor in this book and a light amount of angst. Although these two books could be considered standalones, this book's story is the result of events that happened from the first book. I really recommend reading them in order.
"It was moments like this, with a woman I would never understand or deserve, lying on my lap asleep, and me wishing I could hold on to the seconds a little bit longer.
Keep the moment for me and only me.
It was the moments that looked like chaos but felt like peace.
Perfection wasn't my world.
Perfection was hers."
Rachel does angst, intense drama, and heart wrenching stories amazingly. She does smoking hot sexy time scenes with perfection and then there is books like this. The lighter ones, the ones with humor, and the ones with a little bit of sass and a little bit of heart flutters. Rachel does this beautifully. You see, she has a little bit of everything for every one of your moods or reading styles. No matter what you are looking for I recommend checking her out and this book was a fine example of why I say that.

Dangerous Exes was such a good romance read. I finished this story in one sitting. There was never a dull moment in this story and these characters had me laughing out loud more than a few times, especially Goo-Poh. She was hilarious! I enjoyed Jessie and Isla characters a lot and there was undeniable chemistry between the two. The more they tried to resist and fight their attraction the more I loved them. However, it was even better once they let their walls down. The ending was sweet but I wish it was a little more satisfying. Don't get me wrong it was a good ending but I wish Goo-Poh would have gotten her second wish for Jessie and Isla. That would have made this story satisfying to me. I wanted that "family" However, I do look forward to reading more books from this author in the future.

Dangerous Exes in the 2nd book in the Liars Inc series and it should most definitely be read after the first book. Although it does follow a separate couple from the first book, it is almost a continuation of the first book and references people and situations from book one.
I really enjoyed the characters in the book, particularly Jessie and Goo-Poh. The book was both serious and funny and followed an enemies to lovers storyline. I did feel like the first part of the book was very in-depth and then felt like the ending happened fairly quickly. I really enjoy Rachel Van Dyken's writing style. The book was engaging and I thought the ending for Jessie and Isla was perfect.
