Oh my gawwwddd! This book was beautiful! There was so much passion and heat and anger between these two but also fear, doubt and sadness. It had so many crazy hilarious situations and Goo-Poh had me crying with laughter! Rachel is such a amazing writer no matter the genre or subject! She really makes you feel all the emotions with her characters and I love it!

This was a fun story with lots of humour. It was a light read without any real angst because you know how it’s going to end. Sometimes you need a light story, a great romance, humour and great supporting characters. This book was that. I haven’t read the first book but do not feel this impacted my enjoyment. I need to preface this review with letting you know I was a Rachel Van Dyken virgin.
Yep. I was. I had heard about her and seen several of her books, but had never picked one up ... I always have a book queue and never got around to trying anything by her.
So when I saw an opportunity to review in exchange for the book, I jumped on it!

This book did not disappoint! Very glad I read it! I thought it was very funny!
I DO wish I had read book 1 first though since I feel I was missing a lot of back story.

Jessie is an ex-football player and feels his life was ruined by Isla and her PI business. He thought they were friends. Now they are enemies from friends.
As you read the book you learn what exactly must have transpired in the first book (hence why I wish I had read the first book before this one). One thing leads to another and in order to save both of there reputations, they decide to fake date and then get fake engaged. seriously, this was hilarious!!!
Eventually, because this in a love story, these two actually fall in love.

I definitely recommend this one!!!

Great book!! This is the second book in this series! This is Isla and Jessie book, Isla is co owner in the company dirty exes and Jessie used to play football if you read the first book you'll remember all these characters. Jessie is hell bent on wrecking dirty exes cuz he thinks they ruined his life! Jessie also had a lot of hang ups from his ex! Isla also has a lot of hang ups from her relationship s in her past! I really enjoyed this book! I have to say I liked it better than the first book but I definitely enjoyed both! It was a sexy funny hot sweet fun little story! I highly recommend this book and series! Thank you NetGalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

I would suggest reading the first book in the series first as it's referred to quite a bit and events from that book lead to the situation in this book.
The story is both hilarious (crying laughing) and sad.
Jessie and Ilsa.
Lots of scenes with the couple from the first book too.
Jessie and Ilsa are both vulnerable from bad experiences in their past.
This love/hate relationship grows in to something more.
