As I started to read Bolt it seemed familiar . As I read further along it started to get even more familiar!! If you have read the novella Misadventures of a Superhero you have indeed been introduced to the characters , Reece Richards aka Bolt , heir to the family owned hotel chains Brocade and Emmalina Crist, woman of privilege and reservations desk night manager at the Brocade.
The moment they both met each other "sparks" flew.
This is the story of their budding romance. Can she stay with him once she finds out his kept secret?? Can she accept his " imperfections"?

This book was an ARC. I adored Reece and Emma the first time around and that still holds true. This story is so much fun you just keep reading to see what they will do next. Reece / Bolt our Business owner / Super Hero has his hands full with fighting the bad guys, running a towering hotel and trying to have a love life with Emmalina Crist. She is feisty and smart-mouthed but more importantly, she does not cringe or seem afraid of him one bit. Their banter is funny. Their swoony moments are adorable and their sexy scenes are so hot they could burn the pages. Finding a way to just be Reece and Emma is a challenge but they survive the trial with flying colors! Surprises happen they you don't see coming and I love how they are handled! I cannot wait to bury myself in the next installments. #AngelPayne #SuperHero #TeamBolt

If you are familiar with the Misadventures series then you know that you got a little tease of Reece (Bolt) in Misadventures with a Super Hero. Can I say how much I love that Angel Payne expanded upon it and gave us more sexy Reece. This is a hot and steamy with that touch of action. Reece, man I loved him. I loved seeing the changes from start to end in him. The change is all good. Emmalina is a strong and sweet. She brings out the best sides of Reece. You can't help but want to be drawn into the electrifying chemistry these two have. It's electrifying. I wish I could find my own super hero like Reece wink wink. I loved every minute of Bolt. I couldn't put it down. Such an original read. This makes me want to pick up more. If you're looking for a different read especially in the realm of Sci-Fi/fantasy romance then pick this one up. I really can't wait for Reece and Emmalina to come.

I need Bolted!! HOTTTTT! This book is electrifying!!! Everyone wants their own super hero! Emma got him!! I can't wait to see what part 4 brings!!!

I previously read Misadventures with a Superhero and I really liked it! I was sure I would enjoy this just as much! Emma works at a downtown LA hotel managed by the eccentric Reece Richards. They have off the charts sparks when these two meet from the get go!

Reece was kidnapped a little over a year ago and used as a science experiment of sorts. He now has the ability to harness and control electricity that flows through his body. He takes on LA's worst by fighting crime at night-wanting to die. He hasn't been able to come to terms with this gift. Emma knows that Reece is a good guy, she just has to make him believe it for himself!

Angel has expanded Misadventures with a Superhero and added so much more detail and story, thereby giving us Bolt! You will for sure want to read the expanded version! And better yet, there are even more adventures to come!

What a fun and super HOT read. Loved this booked. Emma and Reece are awesome together their chemistry is off the charts. Highly recommended, be prepared to be BOLTED!!!

If you have read misadventures of the Superhero then you have a bit more information about this character named Bolt. It is not necessary to read any previous books, just putting that out there. This is a completely stand alone book.
I really enjoyed this book so much more than Bolt's misadventure book, something was just missing from that story but this one had it all. Sexy, sweet and complex characters seem to come to life on the pages of this book. Oh my word when he put the electro balls in her, damn that was hot then when he removed them, that scene nearly melted my kindle!!! I love the direction this book is headed and the compassion the main characters have towards others at the end is heart warming.

This book reminded me of Deadpool. Superhero made by torture falls for a great woman and their relationship is fraught with danger and lots of sex. Great escapist fare

Angel Payne has easily become one of my favorite authors! I loved the Bolt in the Misadventures of a Super Heto and am so glad it is going to be a series now. EmRee is a great power couple and I can’t wait to see what happens!!

After getting experimented on Reece hasn't been with a woman but that may change when he meets Emmalina. Emmalina can feel their connection a mile away but Reece has a secret that could make her run away from he. Reece soon realizes how different Emmalina is and is determined to never let her go, but when her life is in danger can he really keep her in his life? I love a good super hero read and this was an amazing read and I love Emma & Reece. This was my first book I read from Angel and it won't be the last

Bolt is a wonderful extension of the intro readers received in Misadventures of a Super Hero. As an avid fan of Angel Payne, I will venture outside my normal genres, and this story didn’t disappoint. I was excited to read this book, and it was thoroughly enjoyable. So if you love Angel Payne's books as much as I do, you're going to love this one.

Bolt is the elongated saga to the original Misadventures of a Superhero by Angel Payne. Payne has added to her word count to create a superhero series based upon Reece Richards as the enigmatic Bolt and Emmalina Crist as his plucky do-gooding love mate. This was a light, quirky story fraught with *sexual heat and minuscule action; a decent minute depiction of comic book life for the wary romance reader new to science fiction.
Do not look for a serious-minded romantic interlude with Payne’s Bolt, as this story is intended to delight the senses with lightning shocks.

*If you are a reader who is not enthusiastic for sex scenes, beware that the sexual heat in Bolt was excessive, and the most developed characteristics experienced by both Reece and Emmalina, together. Note that there was a lack of storyline due to the amount of sex throughout.

There is a part 4, so there is hope that the plot line will grow, and the amount of sex will subtract allowing the characters to develop further.

A fun, quick romp with a plucky heroine and her secretly goofy, super hot, very rich suitor. There were some rather large plot holes, but it was entertaining enough not to matter much. Perhaps we'll find out some answers in the next installment?

More storyline and less sex please. Maybe I am missing the point but what happened to Angelique and her cronies did Bolt frighten them away without the reader’s knowledge? Maybe they return in part 4? I got the idea that Emma and Reece were passionately attracted to each other but there is a limit on how many Uhhh’s and Ohhh’s a reader can take! I accessed this title by accident, and although I finished the book I will not be reading more in the series.

While sci-fi is not usually my cup of tea, Angel Payne writes with just enough romance and seduction to make this story completely worth it. Reese and Emma are not only making their boss/employee romance work, they are also fighting bad guys as Reese’s alter ego Bolt uses his superpowers for good. But can the romance blossom when Bolts identity is made public? Or will Emma walk away not only from Reese but from her job as well. With great characters and a storyline that had me hooked from the opening pages, Angel Payne does not disappoint.

Super hot, super sexy and intence. I could not put the story down. I would love to be Bolted! I highly recommend this series.

Emma works the nightshift at the Brocade, a trendy LA hotel. Reece's family has Richards Resorts, and Reece is the man in charge of the Brocade. By night, Reece is a supercharged superhero having been zapped in an experiment by the Consortium organization. Life at the Brocade was bound to bring them together at some point, but the "shocking" chemistry they have couldn't have been predicted. Kudos to Angel.... Loved the story of Reece and Emma.. First question I had as I read misadventures of a superhero was could it be as good? Well I have to say I loved the recap and added story.. Everyone is always looking to find their hero and Emma was lucky enough to catch a SUPERHERO... Wonderfully written and enjoyed the ride. Can't wait for the next installment.

I had already read Misadventures with a Superhero so I was pretty sure I was going to love this one too. Emma works at one of the hottest downtown LA Hotels which happens to be owned by Richards Resorts and managed by Reece Richards. There is chemistry between these 2 from the very beginning. Reece was kidnapped about a year before and used as a science experiment for the Consortium. His body now has electricity running through it that he can harness and use. He is hoping in his spree to stop criminals that someone will kill him. He has a playboy reputation but no one seems to realize he has changed. Emma knows that deep down Reece is a good man but can she make him believe it. The beginning of the book is from Misadventures with a Superhero. Angel took the original book and gave it more details and a bigger storyline.

If you love hot sexy superheros then this is the book for you. I loved it and am looking forward to the rest of the story. I highly recommend this fun read.
