This is a fantastic sci-fi, sexy romance. Angel Payne is a brilliant writer. Reece and Emma are great. I’m so glad their story was continued from the Misadventures of a Super Hero. Can not wait for the next volume!

Angel Payne outdid herself with Bolt! I love a romance with an employee and their boss, so it's awesome to have that. Plus, I love the trouble that Reece's "friend" begins to stir up. It's a romance and action book all rolled into one. Great read!

Was interesting to reread since I read Misadventures with a Super Hero and trying to see if things had changed. Everyone should check this series out because its just getting started

This story started off with a bang. I couldn't put it down. Its filled of sexual tension and steamy scenes. This is the second book I have read by this author. The first book was okay but this one damn she has change my mind on her writing.

Reece is a rich playboy. When he was young all he thought about is partying and sex. One night of partying has changed his life forever. Yes this story resembles a marvel or comic movie. So there is crime fighting and a costume involved. Who wouldn't fall for a sexy superhero. It's an outstanding read that everyone will love.

It starts out with the typical rich boy chasing hot girl. Then comes trouble with a capital T. What happens next is awful but Reece comes away from it determined to give back some good to the world. Emma works at the Hotel Brocade when she meets Reece a year later. His family owns the hotel and he’s in charge of it. Electricity is in the air and sparks fly when they meet. What a great imagination Angel Payne must have to come up with such a good storyline with Bolt as a super hero. I really loved how Emma stepped up and showed how strong she was when she was told the truth about Reece and Bolt. This is a very good book. This is the same story that starts out in Misadventures with a Super Hero but the author has expanded quite a bit on the original story I voluntarily read and reviewed this book that I received from Netgalley

Bolt: Volume One by Angel Payne was a great read. Volume one consist of parts one, two and three. I absolutely loved reading Reece and Emmalina’s story. Reese is also known as boat and unlike in the superhero. I absolutely love that this is an unlikely superhero book. Angel Payne did a great job of writing characters that you fall in love with. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Absolutely loved this book! It was great! Bolt is electrifying and keeps the reader wanting more!! This is the story of Reese and Emma. Reese is known as a playboy that got stuck running his family’s hotel on the west coast because of his ways. Emma is now employed at his hotel and warned her new boss is best termed as weird. However once she meets him one evening she’d say he’s anything but weird. There is a connection that’s magnetic and can’t be denied between them and it’s electrifying.

Well written and excellently done can’t wait to read the next book in this saga! Loved this and would highly recommend this to others.

I had already read Misadventures with a Superhero so I just knew that I was going to love this series that it turned into. Emma and Reece have amazing chemistry from the very beginning. If you love hot sexy superheros then this is the book for you. I loved it and am looking forward to the rest of the story. I highly recommend this series of books!! Loved it!!!

After reading Misadventures of a Superhero when I heard Angel Payne has made a series out of Bolt/Reece's story I just had to read it! This book is spectacular! Along with the girl he has fallen in love with Emmalina Crist!

Reece was kidnapped by an evil woman in the original series, and has managed to return as Reece himself, but also as a supercharged hero everyone calls Bolt. You can see him flying around at night helping the citizens of Los Angeles who are getting robbed, shot or whatever. One night Emma goes home on the train, and she is almost attacked by 3 men, and Bolt saves her!

This book will make you laugh and it is well written. There are a lot of 'sizzling encounters' between Reece and Emma as his girl, with Bolt getting into things all the time! I gave this book 5*****stars and can't wait for part IV!

First off Angel Payne is new to me author. I have been following her on Facebook for a while now but I kept reading great reviews about her books so I finally decided to pick up one of her books.



I have to say that I am very impressed with Bolt volume 1. I found the story very addictive from the very beginning and it didn't take me long to read the story because I just didn't want to put this book down.



All 3 parts were very well written with chemistry and it is so HOT!



If you are looking for HOT and Sexy stories, I think you will absolutely love this book.



I can't wait to read the next instalments.

I don't usually read sci-fi/fantasy romance but this one...wow! It's sexy, freaky, hot and steamy all rolled into one.

What can I say about Reece? He started out as your cocky, arrogant bad boy but he more than redeemed himself. Having had his world rocked by his ex and I don't mean in a good way, trust was a huge issue for him. Enters Emma, living away from her family for the first-time, trying to make her way in the world.

Trust goes both ways, not just for a reluctant superhero but also for a woman wanting to make the world a better place. Love helps smooth the path and we have two people whose worlds collided, the push and pull between them were deliciously described. His vulnerabilty, her tenaciousness, all their delightful banter, I could not ask for more.

Definitely a five star read for me.

I am a huge fan of Angel Payne's. I did come late to the party and did not get the opportunity to meet Reece & Emma in their first incarnation in Misadventures of a Super Hero.

I'm sad that I didn't get to know them sooner. This story was hot and I couldn't put it down.

Nothing like a great Angel Payne story to keep me from sleeping and living on coffee to get through my real life!

Okay. I going out on the limb. This is by far my favorite book of 2018. I did not want it to end. Kind of jumped and squealed when I found out there was more. Bring it to me. I can hardly stand the wait.

Bolt Part 1
This saga originally started out as Misadventures with a Super Hero, and was absolutely amazing! I am so excited Angel Payne decided to expand from that and turn it into a whole saga! Part 1 is a quick, fun, sexy read that does not end on a cliff hanger. Reece and Emma have instant chemistry that is so well written you can feel their chemistry bolt off the pages and leave you wanting more!

Bolt Part 2
The electricity between Reece and Emma get even more electric in Part 2 and more of the plot get revealed. Part 2 picks up right where Part 1 left off and has a little bit more action and more steamy scenes! It was thoroughly exciting reading these two characters learn more about each other and fall in love!

Bolt Part 3
Another 5 stars for Bolt!! Part 3 picks up where Part 2 left off and doesn't have a lot of Bolt super power action. However, it is full of Reece and Emma building their relationship and figuring out how to work around him being Bolt and Emma working for Reece. These two begin to build an unshakeable relationship with a sturdy foundation. I can't wait to see what Part 4 has in store for us!

I’ll admit that it was a bit hard to get into the story at first. I couldn’t connect with the characters, which made it difficult to enjoy them. But that didn’t last long because the story definitely picks up the pace quickly and from there it was a matter of holding on for the wild ride. Who doesn’t dream of a superhero, especially one of their very own? I know that growing up, before I realized that being a damsel wasn’t exactly cool, I wanted to be Lois to Superman. He was my crush. At least until I met Bruce Wayne. That’s who Reece turned out to be - an electro-charged superhero named Bolt by the community that loved him. The author made him out to be so incredibly sexy, not to mention swoon-worthy, that I couldn’t help but fall all over myself for him. Sweet!

This story had plenty of character growth, action, and the sex was INSANE!! However, what I loved most of all was the love between Reece and Emma. It was quick, it was hot, and it was awesome!! I’m late to the game when it comes to Angel Payne and the craftiness of her words, but you won’t catch me slipping again. I’m definitely looking forward to getting my hands on Bolt: Volume 2!

Quirky, clever, sweet, sexy and emotionally thrilling romantic adventure with a reluctant super hero and his lady love that has no idea of her true value.... Overall a fun yet sensual read that leaves you wanting more. I would recommend this exciting journey to anyone looking for a fun yet passionate experience. This box set is a great deal on this highly entertaining series.

Another AMAZING story by Angel Payne. I was already in love with Bolt/Reece and Emma from the original book but this Saga led me down another path with the same electrifying and heartwarming feeling. The chemistry or should I say electricity, between Emma and Bolt burn up the pages. You can’t help but keep turning the pages to find out what’s next.
