I didn't read the first three books but I love that this is a romantic suspense. Which is not my general genre but I love how Jill Sanders did it! I love JT and Emma, I love how they fit together, as a sort of opposites attract.

Hidden Charm by Jill Sanders was given to thru NetGalley for an honest review. Jill Sanders in one of my favorite authors. I love her writing style, her characters, and the story she weaves around them. Hidden Charm is the 4th book on the Silver Cove series. This story had me hooked from the very first page. Jill Sanders writes a very believable, romantic story.
J.T. is a writer whose first novel is going to be turned into a movie. He picks an up-and-coming actress Emma. They meet at first during the discussion of the movie and become fast friends. After some time, Emma takes J.T. up on his invitation to join him on his island. While there forms a great bond. Both have things to work thru and grow. I adore friends to lovers’ stories. Mix is some spice, romance, some suspense, you have me hooked.

Set in a charming small town on the coast of Maine. JT is a reclusive mystery writer, and Emma is an actress who comes to visit. Someone is targeting one of them. I thought Emma was a bit weak, but I enjoyed the small town vibe and characters.

What a great book! The author, Jill Sanders, did a great job bringing the characters to life. I highly recommend this book.

they meet while she is filming his book that is being made into a movie. she was specifically picked for the part by him. it has its ups n downs and its mysteries but it was well worth the read. I need to read the rest of the books

This was the first book I had read from this series, so I wasn't 100% sure what to expect. I really liked Emma, and I grew to love JT. This was a drama/romance/mystery all in one. I was prepared for the drama and romance, but not so much the mystery.

I wanted to like Emma so much more in the beginning, but I was over her bad relationship pretty quickly and hated that it just seemed to drag on for as long as it did.

I did enjoy their story, though, and I'll be going back to read the previous books. Even though this can standalone, I'd like to learn more about the other characters mentioned in Hidden Charm.

Hidden Charm is so much more than a romance. There is suspense, mystery, animals, relationships, family, movie business behind the scenes, and a surprising ending. Engaging story. I would have been happier without the intimate details, but they were easily overlooked to continue with the tale.

Hidden Charm was a perfect balance of sweet sexy romance, and thrilling mysterious action. JT is completely swoon worthy, and Emma is perfect for him. I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough. One of my favorite books this year!

Murder mystery with domestic violence and romance all wrapped into one. Great story - starts off weird but really darws the reader into the action. The reader wants to know why TJ's and Kacyie's dad decided to divorce, and keave the family after the death of Lori (daughter, and sister). TJ blames himself for the death of his sister - due to he was never really that close to her as they were growing up. Fast forward about 10 years - TJ is now a famous author living on his own island off of Maine (still close enough for his famiily but seculeded enough for hin to write his books. Kaycie is now a mother to a four year old boy, and has recently moved back to her home town. The one questiobs the sibblings still don't have an answer for is why was Lori killed?, and who was the one that did the crime?

JT has recently agreed to have one of his books made into a major motion picture. He aks the director to hire an actress who reminds him of the main female character in his book = she thiugh has liyyle exoerience in the acting world. Love at first sight is the result of their meeitng - yet neither want to admitt it to the other. I'll not give any more away about the story, exceot tio say all questions are answered - and true love

This is the fourth book in a series but I hadn’t read the first 3 books. I don’t think that was an issue at all. This is a romance with a mystery and some thriller aspects. It’s got more suspense than most general romances that I read. It was a nice change of pace for me. I love the idea of a writer who lives on his own island and his friendship (and more) with an up and coming actress. JT and Emma were a highlight of this one - their personalities are a perfect contrast for each other. All in all, I quite liked this one. I found it charming, interesting and suspenseful!

Hidden Charm is a well written romance. I enjoyed the plot, characters and setting. I always enjoy a book by this author. Recommend to romance novel fans.

Live small town stories. Great character development and fast paced. Lots of twists that keep you reading until the end.

Cons - Too much going on. Mark is abusive, sister is killed, car crashes, half sister showing up, someone is stalking them on the island - is it his dad, Mark? There were also a couple of discrepancies - JT didn't have a passport but flew to Rome, Emma's left hand hurt after the crash but she had to use her left hand to shoot the gun. I also didn't like the fact that Mark was abusive (pushed, punched and sexually assaulted Emma) but nothing was ever done about it. JT was fine with Emma still being with him and even set Mark up with another woman. Not cool.
Pros - Easy read.

This story is such a mixture of the good stuff I like in a romance. It’s sweet, yet sexy with enough suspense and mystery to make the plot exciting. I love how I feel like I know the people in Silver Cove; it is such a testament to Jill’s writing. The characters are wonderful, relatable and so well developed it makes it easy to feel that way about them. I love Emma and JT together and he is just so swoonably delicious. I have been waiting for JT’s story and it was worth the wait!!

What a wonderful story! Instantaneous attraction, sexy Alpha writer, sweet sexy actress, a family torn apart, secrets, & danger. This plot grew in intensity until the final scene. The interactions between the characters added depth & emotion to the plot. This was another great emotional story from a terrific writer!

This author just keep getting better and better! The characters have depth and relatability that enhances the plot. The plots get more detailed and just when you think you have it all figured out a new twist arises to make it even more exciting. The multi-layered plots keep the story tantalizing and page turning. While you absolutely could pick up this book and read it as a stand alone story, you really don't want to miss out on the series. I'd recommend starting with the first book and reading through. You won't be sorry!

This was a sweet romance with a bit of suspense thrown in. Even though this was the fourth book in the series I was not lost with the story. Although I will be picking up the rest of them. JT and Emma are very laid back although both are in the spotlight at time. Mainly Emma because she is the star of JT's book made to movie production. Just enough drama was added that it wasn't over the top. One sitting read. Great for a summer reading list. I received an ebook at no charge for which I voluntarily provided an honest review.

This book started like 4 stars for me, but when i finished it, i think, i give it only 2,75 stars...
And all stars goes to JT, the Hero!
The heroine was weak, she didnt fight back, she put with everything someone told her to do, to be fake-engaged for 1 year to a cheater... The same cheater who almost raped her, and she didnt punt any charges, is she for real???!!!
With every week new sex-scandal on Hollywood...
There was some suspense, but i think author didnt know how to tight the knot. Its not so easy to write romance book with good suspense...

Not exactly what I was expected still it was a great story!It was sweet and sexy with a great story line!
