Three Courageous Words is a second chance story. The story is face-paced and that's what I really liked about it.

Second chance stories are my favorite and this one doesn't disappoint but I wish I had read the previous books because it left me confused at times and feeling as I missed something. It is fast paced though and drew me in.

He had to leave her behind once. Now he gets a second chance. But will she trust him again? Navy SEAL “Buck” Graham Buckner had to pull a vanishing act when he left Angela Vega behind. But now he gets a second chance at love when his new mission leads him to Africa to rescue her.

Angela and Buck knew each other a while ago and then he up and left for the Navy. Its been awhile since they've seen eachother and managed to run into eachother in Africa where a warlord is terrorizing everyone. Both seem to have that flame between eachother but they've got a mission to work on find the warlord and take him down as well as keeping Angela safe.
This was a non stop action packed book with a bit of romance just the way I like it. I do mean it when I say that there was a bit of romance because it didn't take away that suspenseful action packed kinda thing that was going on in this book. They are in an unsafe area with a warlord wreaking havoc its hardly time to start a romane. There wa just enough to keep things interesting without taking away from that whole main objective. Overall a pretty good book I really enjoyed it.

Danger abounds as this SEAL team continues their mission! With the third book in her Mission: Six series, Elle James brings us Buck's story. He had a past that he was running from when he joined the service, and this mission runs him smack dab into the one person he regretted having to leave behind. The story is packed full of dangerous situations, sweet memories and a satisfying reconnection. Enjoyed it and looking forward to more!

Elle James owns the Romance with Mystery genre. There is no one better. This time we have a sweet, second chance romance and a couple who have to work together to get out of a very tight situation in the Sudan. Luckily, our hero is a Nave SEAL and our heroine is a doctor with Doctors Without Borders so they are smart, capable and have the courage to get out of a tricky situation. But, do they have the courage to say those three courageous words and mean them for a lifetime.
"Buck" Graham Buckner US Nave SEAL left behind his dreams when he fled Chicago and joined the Navy. He always regretted having to leave, but to save his life and the life of the woman he loved, he did.
Dr. Angela Vega always wondered why Graham just vanished leaving her with broken dreams and a broken heart. She finished her studies, became a doctor and swore never to have her heart broken again. She is now in Africa and it was the last place on earth she expected to meet Buck and the walls around her heart are beginning to crumble.
With a warlord on their trail and on a treacherous mission to find his camp so SEAL Team Six can put and end to him, Angela and Buck must trust and support each other in order to survive.

You need to read the first 2 in this series to understand the story. While the author tries hard to bring everyone up to speed she is very limited with her number count. SO new readers to this series will struggle to play catch up.
The title of this book had me wonderful if I would enjoy the story. Three Courageous Words is what you expect it to be. A fast pace story that starts off with a bang, fighting between the romantic leads, sexy time and more sexy time. Which to me pulls readers out of the story and slows it down to a snails pace.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for an advance copy of Elle James Three Courageous Words.

The last person navy seal Buck accepts to see when he is on a mission in Africa to locate and destroy a high value target is college girl friend Angela Vega, Angela is with Doctors Without Borders and along with a group of women is marching down the dusty street protesting the theft of much needed humanitarian supplies that are getting in the way of her mission.
Soon Buck and Angela are pursuing a reconnaissance mission to locate the warlords compound as the rest of the seals in Buck's group go back to base and await details. Of course in the midst of the danger the two manage to revisit their past and the reasons behind Buck's abandonment of Angela while in medical school.
All in a great story that will keep you turning pages as you read about the horrors in some of the corners of the world and how the local people live even as you rejoice in the results of the mission and love found.

A beautiful love story set against the backdrop of war. Who could ask for a more satisfying combination? Two hard headed, gutsy people out to change the world rediscover each other. But can they overcome everything that has come between them? Find out for yourself in this must read book.

To quote Humphrey Bogart, "Of all the gin joints in town in all the world, she walks in." That's what the opening of this book reminded me of -- Of all the third world countries in all the world where my team is supposed to assassinate an evil leader, my former girlfriend walks down the street right in the middle of it." Buck hasn't seen Angela Vega in years, not since he loved her then left her. He joined the Navy and never returned.
Angela Vega is a doctor with Doctors Without Borders. She is leading the women of that small community in a protest against the leader keeping foreign aid from them. When Buck snatches her off the street right before gunfire begins, she engages in the oh-so-annoying trait of arguing with the person trying to keep her alive and wants to head right back into the refugee camp to keep working. However, once the locals warn her to run, Buck and Angela take up almost like they were never separated, except that they are struggling to survive in a hostile environment
This is a thrilling can't-put-down book with heroic rescues and nonstop action. You will want to begin when you have time to ignore everyone and everything else around you.
