I received this eARC novel from NetGalley. This is my honest review.

Fiona has always had an usual life, touring with her famous musician parents. So when she finds her passion in writing a TV show with her 3 best friends from college, it was a natural transition from one lifestyle to another. Plus, her massive family does unusual things at times.

So when she finds herself in a situation where she is attracted to two of her best friends, the idea of a threesome is talked about. Because Fiona is not sure who she likes more, and she's not sure if getting romantic with her best friends and also co-workers is the best idea of her life. She doesn't want to alienate one of her friends and make thing uncomfortable.

Soon, though, Fiona comes up with the solution, but she's afraid of how things will turn out. But to stay true to herself, she must confess to both guys her true feelings.

This was a great novel! This is my first book my Mari Carr, and I suspect that it won't be my last now! I was thrown into this series, but I wasn't confused or overwhelmed with Fiona's family. I am very intrigued about each characters story, so I will probably end up getting the rest in the series - just not right away since I have SO SO SO many other books on my to-read, haha!

Fiona is a spitfire - I especially loved the prologue where we see 5 year old Fiona and her spunk even then. Adult Fiona is even better, and so unique!

And then Asher and Owen? Wowee! I loved those scenes! It was so nice to see how they both have two different sides to them, even though I was just introduced to them in this book.

I am so glad that I got a chance to be introduced to this series! I will definitely be talking it up to everyone I know :)

This is my first book by Mari Carr, and I loved everything about, since the first page.

The very beginning was really endearing, Fiona and her pop pop just conquered my heart with their love.

The story itself was well written and the characters has depth.

The only thing that kind of let me down, was that I was waiting for a MFM relationship, and it didn´t happened.



But, it was nothing that made me dislike, au contraire, I loved the plot twist.

Fiona Adams, her three friends Owen, Asher and Ted are part of the writing team for the hit sitcom Wild Winters. The team decides to film the season finale in Fiona's family bar in Baltimore.

While in Baltimore the team along with Fiona's family throw a wild April Fool's party. Asher convinces Owen to take matters into their own hands where Fiona is concerned.

Fiona comes from an unconventional family where anything is possible and acceptable.

Thanking my lucky stars I know about Waltzing Matilda and ruing that there were no Jumbucks!

I realise that this book is part of a series and that there is family tree like a Monkey Puzzle (tree), but seriously, over 20 characters in the first two chapters? I went in knowing that is was a later book of a series, however there was no impetus to either persevere with this or even acquaint myself with other, earlier branches of the Monkey Puzzle tree, no matter how competent the writing and steamy the plot.

When I saw this book it sounded really good so I went and looked up series and said ok this sounds really interesting! So I went back to the beginning and read the first two books in the wild Irish series and omg I love this series!!!! I can't wait for more!! I love all the characters and I loved seeing pop pop in this book! Him and Fiona have such a wonderful bond!! This is Fiona and Asher, Owen, Freddy, book lol it's a heartwarming story and if course really really hot!!! Who will Fiona pick?! You'll have to read to find out! I highly recommend this book and series ! I've loved this journey that Mari Carr has taken me on! Thank you NetGalley and the publishers and Mari Carr! For sharing this book with me! This was another awesome book by Mari Carr. I just love all of the characters from the Callaghan clan! April Fools has lots of twists and turns. I did not want to put the book down. It has humor and a swoon-worthy romance. I can't wait for the next book!
