Honestly, I really struggled with this book. There was absolutely no explanation of what the green egg is, how it works and what the children in the books are doing with it. Seems it has some magical properties and can transport them to other parts of the world.
The children are transported by the egg to the kingdom of Bhutan. They get to experience some of the culture and activities of the area because they stumble into a village that is hosting an archery tournament. The learn from the children of the village that there are some Poachers that are threatening a pair of young tigers. Spartan and his friends decide to find the tigers and take them to a Tiger reserve called Tiger Mountain.
The story itself isn’t too bad. But the whole magic green egg aspect really needed more explaining. Maybe others that have read the earlier books will be better prepared to understand.
Thank you NetGalley and publisher, Full Cycle Publications, for the opportunity to read this ARC.
