One of the hardest things Silver ever did was to let Drew go when he went off to college. She stayed in Happily Inc and, after some pretty big challenges, found her footing, started a business and moved on with her life. She does a decent job of avoiding Drew in their small town, until he makes her an offer she can’t refuse to help expand her mobile bartending business. And as fate often determines, all those old feelings and issues from the past manage to intrude on her life.
As only Mallery can, this author gives us a warm, inviting small town and flawed, endearing characters with the perfect amount of humor and quirk. I’ve thoroughly enjoyed her Fools Gold series and the books I’ve read in this one, so I was eager to read an early copy of Not Quite Over You. Not only is Drew and Silver’s story heartfelt, entertaining and evocative, but Mallery’s attention to even the smallest detail makes the story come alive. From the wonderful friendship between Silver and her friends to the push and pull between Drew and Silver, with an overbearing, opinionated parent and a herd of giraffes, this book has plenty to keep a reader entertained throughout. I’m thoroughly enjoying this series and definitely recommend it. Since the books stand alone, you can start with Silver and Drew’s story and then catch up on any you might have missed. In the meantime, I’ll be eagerly anticipating my next visit to Happily Inc.
*I reviewed this book freely and voluntarily, having made no commitment to provide a review and receiving no compensation of any kind from any source for this review.

I grabbed this book from Netgalley because I read Why Not Tonight and enjoyed it. This book was well set up there and I was eager to see what would happen. I'm glad I did but I found it less moving, though both books have similar themes. I think the difference is that those issues were central to the story in one book and not so central in the other.
Drew and Silver have a long and complicated history, a painful history, and I was mostly engrossed in that story. But, it felt like it was playing out against a backdrop of people and issues that were all bigger, tougher, and more important than their issues. The principal curiosity for me was Drew's totally messed up family. I found it distracting in the extreme because I kept wanting to know what it was with his aunt and mother. Maybe that's something I should have already known? Hard to tell, but I want to know!
As if that wasn't distracting enough, Jasper and Wynn kept demanding page space - and again, I liked it - but it was so much more compelling than Silver and Drew's story. The mystery of Wynn and that relationship/non-relationship just kept tearing at me. If they aren't the next book, I may have to lose my mind because Wow! that is some story there.
Then there was Cade and Bethany's wedding that seemed like it would be the wedding from hell, at least for them and how that impacted on so many other people in Happily Inc. It was a sideline and a distraction, but again, a rabbit hole I was happy to go down.
But... all those side stories and rabbit holes took focus off Silver and Drew in a way that just didn't work too well for me. I liked Silver in Why Not Tonight and I was interested in her story. That was good because it's a doozy. And how she deals with it shows a depth of character and maturity that really works. I liked the juxtaposition of the different parts of who Silver is and how that made a whole.
Drew was sympathetic but I found him so wishy-washy that he frustrated me. Will he; won't he? Does he; doesn't he? What does he really want? How does it all come together? I usually identify more with the male lead, but Drew was not a character I could really get into. That's a shame because it would have made the story better for me. In the end, I found that I just couldn't understand his decision making process and why he made the choices he did.
Despite all that, I am looking forward to more Happily Inc. books because there are quite a few mysteries to solve and some interesting stories being hinted.

I loved this book! It was so well written that I read it in just a couple of days! Silver is such an interesting character, and I loved the detail about her business and how she did it. Drew was a great character too, and I loved how they were together. Their story was a real one, and one that while might not be common, is one that possible. The love that the families had for each other was so special. Well done!

Another welcome addition to the Happily, Inc series.by :Susan Mallery. It is best read as the fourth in the series, but Mallery is always sure to make it so that one can enjoy it without knowing all that has come before.
The dialogue is fresh and the characters are perfectly believable, and their creativity is surpassed by none. Just a plain fun book to read - I've been looking for the town on the map, but I guess it will just have to visit it in my mind.

Susan Mallery's Happily Inc series continues with Silver and Drew's story, as former high school sweethearts overcome years of misunderstandings to eventually find their way back together. I thoroughly enjoyed the characters, both primary and secondary, and look forward to whatever this author does next!

Silver and Drew were once a item. Silver let Drew go when she thought she needed to. She's moved on or so she thought. Now Drew is back in town working at his families bank and he wants to get to know Silver again. I just didn't feel the chemistry on this one. They didn't seem to click as a couple. I'm not sure why. There wasn't really much conflict either. If they spent more time talking to each other instead of in their heads the story would have ended sooner. It was a OK read but not a favorite for me of the series.

Back in Happily, Inc, Silver Tesdal has a business that’s doing well and she wants to expand but 3 banks have turned her down for a loan. Her ex, high school sweetheart, Drew sees a way back into her heart and into her business.
Old troubles come back to haunt them but their love stays strong in spite of his meddling mother, but can they make it work with all the obstacles and secrets?
A very easy to read feel good book as always from Susan Mallery.

I am so glad that Ms. Mallery decided to do a story about Silver. She was always a mysterious character right from the start of this series. This was a great story about lost loves finding their way back to each other and dealing with some consequences along the way. I also enjoyed the behind the scene stories of Drew's mom and aunt. They are quite the pair of sisters!!! It was interesting to read how Drew finally put Silver first and told everyone else to take a hike, long overdue!!! Looking forward to more books in this series!!!

2.5 stars?
I really liked Silver from the previous books and was eager to get to her story, especially when I read the premise of this one. Sadly, it was disappointing.
Silver and Drew are good enough characters. They’re both loyal and good and only want the best for the people they care about. Their relationship was interesting, but there wasn’t any chemistry at all. I struggled to care about their journey because they didn’t seem to care about each other. As feisty as Silver seemed in the previous books, I didn’t see her spark in this story.
Plot wise, it was okay. The conflict was stupid. There was far too much inner monologue and not enough actual conversation. The thread of story between Jasper and Wynn was disjointed and absolutely unnecessary. However, I did like all of the scenes with Autumn and those were the bright spots for me.
Overall, it was just such a let down. Everything just felt so resigned. I do like this cast of characters and I’ll definitely be reading the next one.
**Huge thanks to HQN Books for providing the arc free of charge**

Susan has a way of writing that engages you from the first paragraph. I couldn't put the book down because I needed to see what happens.
Silver and Drew were feisty yet sensitive in their dealings with each other.

Why is it that every time I get to that last page of one of these books in the Happily Inc series, I am wiping away the tears that are streaming down my cheeks? Always a happy ending, as in any good true romance novel, but Susan Mallery has a way of making these characters go straight to my heart.
Silver and Drew have a past. A past that included an unplanned teenage pregnancy, giving the baby up for adoption, and a separation that was intended to be what was best for each of them. But that past comes full circle for both of them and a realization that they never stopped loving each other.
Drew is such a good guy! I loved his character. And Silver is a strong, independent woman who has made a career for herself. When she decides she wants to expand her business and yet has a difficult time acquiring the funds to do so, Drew steps in as a minority partner with the funds she needs. Working together brings them closer, and as they work out suppressed fears and anxieties, a realization of how they truly feel toward one another comes out. I loved these two.
The relationship between Wynn and Jasper was part of this story as well and I'm hoping there will be more between them in an upcoming book. And possibly more in a much more future book between Hunter and Autumn. How about it Ms. Mallery? (smiling wishfully)

Loved this second chance story. Drew and Silver were a great pair, and the cast of characters was fabulous as always. It was fun to catch up with the others and learn about some new ones. Wynn & Jasper HAVE to get their own story! I'm not sold on the ending, but the main part of the book was fabulous! I can't wait to see what's up next in this series.

A town relying on the wedding industry to survive, a quirky but endearing hometown cast and difficult family members, Not Quite Over You had all that and more.
I enjoyed the story but felt most of the issues were either self induced or personally allowed. Even after both characters had their "come to Jesus moment", were a friend or family member set them straight, they still didn't get it.
I really like the Happy, Inc. family. The series has been a delightful read. Not Quite Over You is a nice, easy going romance. It was the heavy dose of outside angst causing the drama that kept me from completely engaging...3.5 read for me.
I received this ARC copy of Not Quite Over You from HARLEQUIN - HQN. This is my honest and voluntary review. Not Quite Over You is set for publication October 23, 2018.

Silver's decision to expand her business is exciting scary. When she is turned down for the needed loan she is determined to find a way. Enter Drew, her high school boyfriend who wants to go into business with her as a partner. He has the cash needed but with their history she is reluctant. Silver can't pass up the opportunity and plans to keep it all business. Drew has a goal to help small businesses in town and Silver's is a perfect place to start. They eventually can't deny their attraction, but will need to overcome the secrets of their past as well as opposition from his family. Another fun, satisfying story in this series. We were teased with Jasper and Wynn and wonder if their story will be next.

Another addition to the Happily Inc series. Silver and Drew have a history, albeit long interrupted, going back to high school. When Silver is denied a loan from the local bank in order to expand her business, Drew steps in to help, much to her chagrin. One thing leads to another, secrets are exposed and explained, and since this is a town called Happily, all ends well -- but believeably so.
I received an ARC copy for an honest review.

I seriously love this series! Not Quite Over You is the 4th installment in the Happily Inc. series and if I’m being honest, I wish I could actually move to this cozy little town !!
This novel centers around Silver and Drew! I enjoyed learning about their background and how they were in love in high school! Ultimately, the two split ways when Drew went off to college, but there was A LOT the two never clarified or got closure on.
When Silver find herself needing a partner in order to grow her business, Drew without hesitation volunteers. The two rekindle a friendship while working together so closely, but Silver know she has to get some major stuff off her chest before she can embrace their new normal. In true Susan Mallery fashion, I adore what she had in mind for these two!
From the beginning I was hooked! I always like the premise of the second chance romance— I really thought Susan Mallery did a great job of making it fresh and unique! I loved getting Drew and Silver’s story and as always I adore getting updates from past favorites! I am already looking forward to the next novel in the Happily Inc. (keeping my fingers crossed it’s Jasper & Wynn’s book)! Not Quite You is a 4.5 star read that I highly recommend! Don’t miss this series!

Yet another awesome book by one of my favorite authors. Susan really know how to get her readers involved with her stories. Another wonderful book in The Happily Inc series. Can't wait for the next one.

Another great installment in the Happily Inc. Series!!! Silver wants to expand her mobile bar business and when the bank turns down her loan application Drew steps in with a different plan. Silver and Drew had been involved years ago right after high school.
Can Silver trust Drew after what happened in their past? Can they get along and move forward or will the past always get in their way? Do they get a second chance at love?
This book tells the whole Silver and Drew story.
The town of Happily, Inc. is best setting for romance since the whole town seems to cater to the wedding business. The cast of characters is just as interesting as the town itself. It is a great read!

Not Quite Over You is the fourth book in Susan Mallery's Happily Inc. series. This is my first exposure to this series and author. I love a romance series that is centered around a small town and its colorful residents, and in that aspect this book did not disappoint. I plan to go back and catch up on how some of the other couples found each other. For the main characters, Silver and Drew, this is their second chance love story. While I enjoyed so many aspects of their arc, the book did read a little slow at times. If you're looking for a mellow read without too much drama, this is a satisfying story about two characters finding the courage to take a second chance.

Silver has been denied a loan for her business by every bank in town. In steps Drew, her old high school boyfriend. Silver has never gotten over Drew. She also has a secret that she has been keeping for years.
This was a good addition to the Happily Inc series. It is a sweet second chance romance. I like Silver and I was rooting for her and Drew. Thank you to net galley for an advanced readers copy.
