Natalie Kaleta arrived in Happily as a left at the alter bride and decided to stay. Ronan Mitchell came to get away from the family that kept an important secret from him. Natalie turns lemons into lemonade. Ronan broods. Not a good mix but of course in the third book about Happily they end up together but not until Ronan comes to terms with the secret and the people who kept it. A nice romance with some fun moments. It follows the story line of the previous books but is still a good read.

I received a free copy of the book in return for an honest review.

Finally! We get to see Ronan's story! So I was worried about this one because Ronan has been such a pain for his brothers to deal with over the past few books. He was closed off and sullen and so awful to the people that love him most. Enter Natalie, the gallery assistant who only sees the good in everything. At first, she's stranded with him during a big storm and it isn't long before Ronan's exterior starts to chip. He remembers what it is to be a part of society and a family again. She makes him reconnect with his brothers and tries as hard as she can to get through the thick skull that is Ronan.

I absolutely loved this one. Mallery made Ronan so real, and while I didn't understand how he could be so closed off to the people who had loved him his whole life, I wanted him to get his happy ending. Seeing how he could be with Natalie and how Natalie blossomed under him was great. There were a few moments that I wasn't quite sure where Mallery was going, and I don't think they would have necessarily been missed if they'd been removed, I see why she put them in.

I'm enjoying this new series and I really liked that we can catch up on some of our past favorites.

Natalie is part time artist part time office manager for her gallery. Ronan Mitchell is a complicated artist whose world was thrown into craziness when he found out the woman he thought was his mother really wasn't and his twin brother was not his twin. A crazy thunderstorm with torrential rain sends Natalie up the mountain to Ronan's home to check on him. Except the gruff and quiet Ronan is not the one she meets when she arrives. Ronan's been kind of a wild card in this series. He's the last of the Mitchell brothers to find love. He's dead set against love though so it's surprise to him when Natalie sneaks right in to his heart. The author does a wonderful job fleshing out Ronan and Natalie. Up until now we've only gotten bits and pieces of both but this book shows us what their made from. Watching how Natalie effects Ronan was fun. Bonus was getting all the Mitchell brothers back together for a part of the story and seeing where everyone is without it taking over the story. Can't wait to see what comes next in this series!

It’s to the point in my reading life that I have little patience or tolerance for a main character being the cause of the relationship conflict in a book, but the early copy I read of Why Not Tonight is a refreshing exception. From the outset, Mallery set Ronan up with a major internal conflict and self-identity crisis, so his eventual sabotage of his relationship with Natalie was expected and anticipated but crafted in such a way that the reader is invested, understanding and sympathetic. For Mallery to get me to tolerate something I generally despise, and then also embrace the character and the outcome speaks to not only her talent in crafting a story but also her mastery of the psychology behind it and its impact on the reader.

Mallery's Fool's Gold series is one I hope will go on forever, so to have the Happily Inc. spin-off series with some familiar characters is a real treat. After Ronan Mitchell learns some devastating news that shakes the very foundation of his existence, he leaves his family and Fool's Gold and secludes himself in an opulent mountain cabin near the wedding destination town of Happily Inc. There he can practice his glass art away from the toxicity of his even more famous artist father. He can’t completely avoid family though, since his two artist brothers follow him to Happily Inc. They're used to his moodiness and solitude, but when no one has heard from him for nearly a week, they ask the gallery office gal, Natalie, to take a drive up to his house and check on him. It’s a good thing Natalie and Ronan are on friendly terms, because when the road to town washes out and Natalie gets stranded at Ronan's, things get even friendlier.

Natalie and Ronan are complete opposites like light and dark but there’s a definite yin and yang thing between them. Yes, Ronan has had some disappointment in his life, but he let it turn from stoic, moody and brooding into angry, bitter and fatalistic, and he’s become far too much like the father he despises. Natalie has had her own share of hardships, yet she remains happy, positive and upbeat and has an excitement and vitality for life that is enviable. She's certainly good for Ronan, yet she doesn’t hesitate to give him a piece of her mind when he needs it, or call him a “stupid butthead" when he needs to hear it.

As an artist, I was intrigued to see how these artistic characters would develop, and I think Mallery captured the soul of an artist beautifully. Yes, there are some specific artistic types portrayed with Ceallach's temperamental and gigantic ego, Ronan’s moody brooding, and Natalie's sunny disposition on the opposite end of the spectrum, where the majority of artists are probably somewhere in the middle. But the rest was spot on. The floundering, at-odds feeling during lack of inspiration. The Zen state in the midst of inspired creation where nothing exists beyond artist and materials. The creation of landfill-worthy pieces that serve to show the artist the corrections and tweaks needed until that gallery-worthy piece is finally born. Mallery offers an accurate glimpse at the process of artistic endeavor. This, along with many endearing, relatable characters and a captivating storyline make Why Not Tonight a delightful read and one I wholeheartedly recommend.

I really liked this story of Ronan and Natalie - both artists. I loved their romance and the build up, but I wanted to smack Ronan most of the book. If the ending had had more of Ronan's thoughts on why he changed his mind, I think I would have given it five stars. It wrapped up a little too quickly for me. But I loved Natalie's outlook on life even though it was almost a bit out there sometimes. Nevertheless, this was a fun book to read and I can't wait to read about Silver and Drew.

I LOVE HAPPILY INC!! I WANT TO MOVE THERE!! I’ve never read Susan Mallery before and I don’t know why it took me so long! I was a little worried when I got this that it would be a cheesy romance novel… I love him but he doesn’t love me / I love her but she doesn’t love me plotlines. My worries were unfounded and I fell in love with the characters in this fictional little town. The only thing I didn’t like was how the ending was neatly wrapped up with a bow (I would have preferred a more realistic ending). A perfect, fun, light read for any romance fan. I am now going back and reading the first two in the Happily Inc series!

Thanks to Susan Mallery, the publisher, Harlequin – Romance, and NetGalley for an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

The Happily Inc. series continues to please. This time the story focuses on Natalie & Ronan. The two artists together create some major sparks. The story is filled with so much humor and drama that you will not want to put the book down until you reach the end.

Generally, I enjoy Susan Mallery. But, there was just something about this book that I was not able to connect with and from the time where the tree flattened her car, all the way to the end of the title,I just didn;t find myself particularly caring about either of the characters.

I appreciate the opportunity to read and review, however as I am not able to leave a positive review, I have chosen not to leave a full review or feature this title on the blog.

Susan Mallery and her idea of Happily Inc being a wedding town is brilliant and I’ve been excited about more stories from this town! I gives you all the emotions joy and heartbreak.
Susan Mallery is one of those authors that I can forever read and devour her books and this one wasn’t an exception.

Ronan's story is why I continued to read the series. I don't love Happily Inc as much as I do Fool's Gold, but I want to continue to support Susan Mallery.

Ronan's story has a different feel from the first two. It could be because he's the dark, quiet, and broody type, or that he's the brother that seems most alluring. I also attribute my enjoyment to Natalie, whom I adored. She's assertive and spunky, and I enjoyed the dialogue and banter between the two.

The story set up took a while to build up, but it moved along when it needed to. Overall, I enjoyed this the most and I'm looking forward to the next in the series.

Ronan Mitchell has become a bit of a recluse after discovering his family wasn't exactly the family he thought it was. He's pulled away from his family and friends, losing himself in his art. When no one hears from him in five days, Natalie is sent up to his mountain home to check on him. A mudslide leaves her stuck with Ronan, allowing her time to get to know him better.

I liked Ronan and Natalie together. Ronan is a bit broody and seemingly anti-social, while Natalie is outgoing and bubbly. She brings out the best in him, allowing him to open up a bit more. She also encourages to him to work things out with his family. He encourages her paper art, even though she doesn't believe she can make a career out of it.

I loved how the Mitchell brothers didn't give up on Ronan, despite his reluctance to let what happen go. I also enjoyed Natalie's close group of friends and how supportive they are of her.

These books can be read as a standalone, but I do recommend reading the previous books as well to have a better understanding of the Mitchell family dynamic.

A story about two people who handled coping a very different way, I loved the latest book in the Happily, Inc. series. You could read it as a standalone, but I recommend the other two in the series first. A very good, quick read.

I’ve been waiting for Ronan’s story since we first met him and I was eager to get to this one.

I’ve liked Natalie from the start and I thought her happiness was a perfect match for Ronan’s brooding. She’s sunny and sassy and doesn’t take any shit. He’s stoic and cloudy and quiet. Together they had some sweet chemistry and playful banter.

Plot wise it was fairly satisfying. I would have liked to see more of them together. It felt like they were in the same space, but separate for a lot of the story. The conflict wasn’t too bad and didn’t last long. I am curious to know if there’s an epilogue because the last chapter of my e-arc was a repeat of a previous chapter. And let me assure you, it was insanely disappointing.

Overall, it was a great story. Of course I would have liked a bit more because I’m greedy, but it was worth the wait.

**Huge thanks to HQN Books for providing the arc free of charge**

I always enjoy Susan Mallery's books especially those in a series. This is one of the Happily, Inc. books featuring an artistic family and the women who find love with them. Ronan is the quintessential loner creating his art away from everyone since he discovered a family secret. Natalie works in an art gallery and interacts with Ronan's family of artists. Since no one has heard from Ronan for awhile she is instructed to go see if he's ok. A series of events occurs that leaves her stranded at his place and the opposites are strongly attracted to each other. Enjoyable romance about overcoming adversity and being open to love.

A lovely addition to the Happily Ever After Inc. series. Ronan has cut himself off from just about everyone after learning of a family secret that devastated him. No one seems to be able to get him to open up. Natalie, a representative from the art gallery where he shows and sells most of his work is sent to check on him as no one has heard from him for several days. Travelling in her older car up the side of a mountain isn't the smartest thing to do. She finally makes it, but her car is disabled so she h as to stay for several days - thereby unleashing a dam of emotions. Following Ronan's tale, and Natalie's efforts to get him to reconnect with his family and the world prove to be quite entertaining. I hope there are more books to come in this series. Ms. Mallery never lets me down..

This is the third story in the Happily Inc series. I greatly enjoyed it.
Natalie is the main heroine and I lover her optimism. She brings fun and positivity to every situation and yet she’s not an unrealistic Pollyanna. She has confidence in herself and I love her self-assured statement. Yet she has hidden depths as you can see she sometimes doubts she can be loved as it hasn’t worked out for her in the past.
Ronan is the Moody artist. I have to admit this isn’t my ideal man and much of his struggle just annoyed me. I very much agreed with Natalie that he was still incredibly lucky with his life and why he was pouting, was beyond me.
I enjoyed how Ronan became closer to his brothers and that brought the rest of the family into the book.
I also liked how the book didn’t go as I thought it would. At one point I thought I knew what was going to happen and I was completely wrong. I am so happy that I was!
The book celebrates art which is great and would be of interest to anyone who is artistic or enjoys art. It definitely gave me inspiration to create!

Why Not Tonight is the third book in the Happily Inc series by Susan Mallery. Even though these books can be read as a standalone I prefer to read in order so I can get a full feel for all characters involved. I loved Ronan and Natalie. They are extremely special and sweet. Natalie and Ronan are both artist and understand each other on more levels than many people would.

I could not get into this story line. While I enjoyed getting to know Ronan better Natalie annoyed me. I could not stand the way she was so bossy and always referring to herself as cute. I found that very offputting. I will definitely continue to read the series and hope that Natalie is not around very much.

I have been looking forward to Ronan's story and it didn't disappoint. Right from the start I knew this would be a good one when Natalie ended up having to stay at Ronan's for a few days during an awful storm and the recovery afterward. I was at turns amused and exasperated (by the characters, not the writing). I loved seeing the contrast between Natalie's sunny disposition and Ronan's more gloomy outlook.
