This is a standard sweet Susan Mallery romance - a small town full of loving couples and quirkiness such as a giraffe reserve and weddings based around the movie, “Batman and Robin.” What raises it above some of the more forgettable Mallery romances is the delightful heroine, Natalie. She is so very optimistic and good-hearted with a such a charming way of expressing herself that will make you smile.
The love-interest, Ronan, is a talented and wealthy artist who has all sorts of problems to work through when he found out that he wasn’t really a fraternal twin, but instead was the adopted son that his SOB of a father had in an affair. He was raised by his father’s wife who treated him in a loving way and never differentiated between him and his half-brothers. But he’s so torn up about finding out that he wasn’t who he thought he was that he can’t forgive the mother who raised him and has trouble relating to his brothers. He fears being in a real relationship with Natalie because he fears hurting her as his father hurt everyone in his life.
He is, as Natalie tells him in an epic rant, behaving like a “butthead.” Everyone tells him so and you’ll want to tell him the same thing. There’s not much plot beyond waiting for Ronan to pull his head out of his rear end, but Natalie makes the wait worthwhile.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book that I received from Netgalley; however, the opinions are my own and I did not receive any compensation for my review.

Third book in the Mitchell Brothers of Happily, INC. Ronan has been dealing with what he feels is a huge betrayal. His brothers, have been worried about him as well as fellow artist and gallery receptionist Natalie. When they can't get a hold of Ronan, Talia is tasked with driving up the mountain to his home. On the way, during a huge storm, her car slides off the road. Arriving a wet, muddy mess Ronan takes care of her for the weekend until the road is passable. This weekend enhances their relationship and begins their romance. Natalie is a free spirit, loyal, welcoming and may be just what Ronan needs to let go, forgive and heal. A fun, touching romance. Look forward to returning to Happily, INC.

I loved Natalie's stream of consciousness as she's driving through a storm. (All through out the book there are little gems of thought she has that I loved.) She finds herself stuck during a severe storm with Ronan, a very talented, moody, artistic, individual. She is able to "see" under his moody, miserable attitude. She is his yin to her yang.
Her bubbly personality is just what he needs. But, don't be fooled about her ability to find a silver lining. Underneath the happy exterior there is some unhappiness. It spills out when Ronan can not accept his adopted mother. (He did not know he was adopted.) I laughed out loud when she called him a butthead. I enjoyed the characters and loved the setting.
Although it is the third book in Susan Mallery's Happily Inc. series, it would be a great stand alone book.
Thank you to Net Galley, the publisher and author for letting me read this fantastic book for an honest review.

I feel like we've been waiting for this book since the series was spun off from the Fool's Gold one. We've seen how Ronan has closed himself off from his family, due to the drama with their father. Sure it was huge, learning your mother wasn't your mother, that you weren't really a twin. I can only image how that would mess with your mind. It drove me nuts that Ronan couldn't see what his mother did for him, instead of focusing on what she kept from him.
Natalie was a great foil for Ronan, she was so bright and shiny, while Ronan was broody, mcbroody. I loved watching Ronan change the more time he spent in Natalie's presence. I liked how Natalie helped bring Ronan back into contact with his brothers, how the two of them spent a lot of time talking about art, how Natalie was able to get Ronan to see things a bit differently in regards to how Natalie fights to due her art.
Of course when things get a little to real Ronan did what he does best, run. I was a bit worried that things wouldn't get resolved, but the best person stepped in to help and did it in the most unselfish way, a way that totally got through to Ronan. All of which lead to a great HEA.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for an early copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Third in the Happily, Inc. series that is a spin-off from Fool’s Gold. Glass artist Ronan Mitchell broods alone in his mountain top home after learning that he is not really a twin, but the product of his father’s affair with a young intern. He’s afraid he has too much of his father’s mean side to connect with anyone without hurting them until his gallery’s office manager gets under his skin with her positivity. But will she really be able to get him to open up and reconnect with his family?
I really like this series. If you’re looking for a fast, “put you in a good mood” read, a Susan Mallery book is a perfect choice.

This is the story of Ronan and Natalie. Ronan is an artist who looks on life in a negative light. He has discovered he was lied to about his birth. As a result he has disconnected from his family and pretty much the world around him. In comes Natalie a bright, cheerful woman who is sunshine all the time. Natalie ends up stuck at Ronan’s remote house during a storm. Ronan is attracted but tries to resist, but Natalie pulls him into her life. There is some really clever dialogue in this book. Natalie says whatever comes into her mind, often embarrassing herself. This is the 3rd book set in the town of Happily Inc. it could be read alone but there is a lot of backstory about the history of the characters that you might miss. All the books are good reads so if you like a good romance with a great cast of characters read them all. I would give this book 4 1/2 stars.

Why Not Tonight is a book in the Happily Inc series by Susan Mallery. Susan makes these women so relatable. Each time I think this is going to be my favorite character.
Natalie is adorable. She is short and curvy, and loves food as much as her other girlfriends. The conversations between the friends sounds like you listened in to a group of my friends :). I loved how her thoughts would jump from one thing to another. I hope my husband thinks that is as cute as Ronan does.
Ronan has been dealing with the after shocks of his father revealing a family secret that has him questioning his identity.
From the outside looking in you cannot decide if Natalie and Ronan are perfect for each other or the most unlikely couple to make it. Natalie has no family left after her mom passed away. When she talks about her mom you want to hold her and cry with her. You totally understand her reactions to Ronan. When he talks about Elaine you really want to slap him.
I loved this story. Sometimes i am not even sure I can pick out the one thing that I love the most. The books grab you and don’t let go. I am not sure if it is the romantic tension or the banter between the friends. I recommend it.
Susan dropped enough hits about Silver’s past that I hope she is the next book.
Romance - 3. There is some sex scenes but not over the top to distract from the real story line. There are some details in the first phyisical scene.
Violence - none even though you think the brothers may come to blows more than once.
Language - nothing that stood out to me.
Alcohol - the ladies drink and one of them has a alcohol truck kind of like a food truck. She uses this for weddings.

I love reading romance novels and Susan Mallery’s books are a big reason why! I am really, really enjoying the Happily Inc series and Why Not Tonight is now my new favorite in this sassy series!
I always had a soft spot for Ronan Mitchell, so I was excited when Why Not Tonight would center around him, but I never imagined Susan Mallery would dream up the most perfect match for him in Natalie Kaleta!!! Natalie is a warm-spirited, fun-loving and most importantly good-hearted woman who could be just the person to break through Ronan’s armor! Ronan has long been know as the Mitchell family loner/recluse and I was hoping Natalie was going to get to the heart of Ronan!
I honestly knew after the first chapter that Why Not Tonight was going to be epic! I LOVED Ronan and Natalie’s chemistry and I felt Susan Mallery did a fantastic with organically developing their friendship/relationship! It was great getting to know Ronan and Natalie more and as always I love getting updates from past favorites! Why Not Tonight is full of Susan Mallery awesomeness and is a total 5 star read!

Susan Mallory is an auto buy author for me and this one is pure delight. So evocative and beautiful. Loved it!

This was another fine offering from Mallery! I love the characters and the towns she creates. This one is no different and I enjoyed every minute of the book!

An enjoyable read. All Susan Mallery's characters have hidden pain from their childhoods and these are no different but Natalie is a delight. A good way to spend an afternoon.

Book three in the Happily Inc series is Natalie and Ronan’s story. Susan Mallery has once again found a way to enchant is with Happily Inc.
Natalie works at an art gallery with the Mitchell brothers . Natalie and Ronan end up spending more time together and getting to know each other better after a storm closes roads. Ronan has some past issues that get in the way of him wanting to get too close to anyone . Natalie is working on her own art and starts falling for Ronan but feels helpless because she knows his past and figures she can’t change it.
Thank you Netgalley & HQN for the ARC of this book. This book is a delightful combination of emotions.

Natalie Kaleta will do whatever the artists at the gallery she works for ask of her, even going out into the pouring rain to check on hermit-like Ronan Mitchell, None of the other artists, namely his brothers, have heard from him in days so they ask Natalie to check up on him. Natalie does just than and gets sidelined by a mudslide that take out not only the road but her car in the process. This leaves Natalie as a house guest to the artist until the roads can be cleared and it's safe to travel down the mountain. During her visit they both begin to see a different side to each other and Natalie realizes that her crush for the artist might be much more. Ronan has his own demons to deal with and pushes her away at every opportunity but begins to realize just how much he misses her when she's not around. She seems to have opened up an outlet for his art that has been evading him for some time now. Follow along as the two move two steps forward and one step back in a dance of emotions and feelings that neither know quite how to express. I love this series and enjoy the characters not to mention the story that brings them together. The author always brings such unique characters to life and they become friends as you get into their stories.

This is my favorite Happy Inc and Fools Gold story. Ronan, a character in both series has been interesting to follow and I was patiently waiting to see how his story would continue to unfold. I liked how the book started with Natalie making her way up the mountain and how their story developed. I especially love how Natalie's art blossomed throughout the story.

I am a huge fan of Susan Mallery’s Fool’s Gold series and since we first meet the Mitchell brothers in Fool’s Gold I was eager to dive into this new series off-shoot. I’ll admit when I first tried to read the first book, You Say It First, I didn’t finish the book and always meant to go back one day. This one, on the other hand, grabbed me right off the bat and I fell in love with it.
The opening scene is perfect and I loved Natalie off the bat. I did swoon over Ronan but I have to confess that there were many times I wanted to smack him across the back of his head for the anger he felt towards his mom. I get he was in shock and felt hurt but he totally disregards all the love and support his mom has provided him his entire life. I was so glad when Natalie finally helps him mend fences.
Natalie and Ronan are perfect together. They both helped push each other when needed and they are just the sweetest couple together. I enjoyed this story so much I went back to You Say It First and read the entire thing. I’m glad I did because while I still love Ronan’s story more, Nick’s story was still a lot of fun.

Well...I cried!
This book had ALL THE FEELS!
Ronan is WOWZA and Natalie was just what he needed. I love this series! What a fantastic read!

A wonderful visit to the town of Happily, Inc, a town built around all things weddings and art! The characters are charming, witty, sexy, smart and fun. The stories are about the interpersonal relationships among friends, family and lovers. You always get a happily ever after at the end of the story so if you are looking for a light-hearted fun read then this is the book for you! Besides where else are you going to find a town that has a giraffe herd as mascots!

An absolutely riveting story. I thoroughly enjoyed this read and will be recommending it to customers in our store!

Natalie is risking her life to drive up the mountain in this storm to check on artist Ronan, who no one has heard from in days. When she finally arrives, it seems Mother Nature has some plans of her own about how these two should spend the next few days, and she gives a little boost that starts with a falling tree and a mudslide. While Ronan has had the benefit of a famous artist for a father to ease his way in to the world of art, as well as a seemingly endless well of talent, Natalie has had to work hard for every small sale. As the two begin to form a friendship, their disparate experiences help them to see beyond what is to what might be. Dragons may live in caves, but maybe they are not monsters but rather just looking for a way to spread their wings. Mallery's signature style of humor and friendship fills this book, and it is another winner in her Happily Inc. Series.

I love the Fool's Gold series and am so happy that Happily Inc series is just as good. I love all the variety of characters, the setting, and importance of friendship in every character's live.s Looking forward to continuing to read and recommend this great series.
