An absorbing mystery, this book is full of intrigue and secrets. Although it’s part of series, I don’t feel that I have missed out by starting with this one. Not my usual sort of book, but still very enjoyable.

Part of the McKenna legacy series. Rhys and Aileen work together to find the mystery of 3 bodies while protecting the wolf pack she is there to study. Good character and story line to keep the pages turning.
Ebook from netgalley and publishers with thanks. Opinions are entirely my own.

Very well written storyline that pulled me right in from the very beginning and the characters are so well developed that I was totally enthralled.

A decent addition to the McKenna series. A touch dramatic, but I loved the full circle connection between the characters. There are some interesting twists and turns.

I really had trouble getting into the book initially and getting caught up in the emotions of the characters. The storyline was good, but it just didn’t stand out in my mind amongst other books in the genre. The blurb was great, but overall the book just fell flat for me.

I enjoyed this. It's certainly far more than a romance. Although I guessed at some of the truths that were later revealed, it was still intriguing and entertaining.
I appreciated the positive way wolves are portrayed, having studied biology in the past. The paranormal romance aspect was handled well, too, and the characters are interesting.
I haven't read the other books in this series but found this to work nicely as a standalone.

First I need to start out by saying this is the first book I read in the series and this can be read as a standalone . I found the story line fast paced and intriguing and characters well written. In fact this book was so well written I plan on going back and start reading the other books in this series. Please read this book if you love drama, a touch of paranormal, romance and suspense.

I haven’t read any of the other books in the McKenna series but didn’t find that hindered my following the characters or plotting in this book. Overall, I enjoyed the book quite a bit but found the plot a little disappointing. The “bad guy “ was signaled too soon. I did enjoy the building of the romance and found the main characters interesting. I will look for other books by this author.
My thanks to NetGalley for providing me with an arc in exchange for my honest review.

I couldn't put it down. Love the characters and the story. It has some great twists and turns. Readers will be drawn into the story from the very beginning.

An interesting read that has a rather different outlook on both psychic power and connection and romantic connection. It has an intriguing concept on the werewolf genre and blends romance, suspense and magic in an engrossing mix. Whilst the main characters Aileen and Rhys are charismatic enough that they hook you in, the story flows well enough to engage. There is something in the writing that does make it difficult to follow at times. I would still now after finishing the book, find it hard to tell you what the significance of Aileen's dreams were. Overall engaging enough read.

I loved the pacing of this book that although there was a general idea of how the book would go it was a very interesting read.

This is the seventh book in the series, but to be honest it can stand alone. Aileen is an academic, working on a thesis about wolves, so she comes to the small community of Wolf Creek. There she meets handsome Rhys, who she has dreams about, in human and wolf form. Overall I did enjoy this book, although the dreams were confusing at times, and the beginning was a little slow. Figured out who the bad guy was fairly soon, but that was fine too. Good characters and good story line. Highly recommend this book and author.

While trying to finish her thesis and figuring out some recent murders. It will come down to figuring out who is the big bad wolf. Her past and her future collide and she must trust someone she doesn't know or does she?

For the sake of being honest, I really couldn’t get into this book at first. It doesn’t have a very strong beginning and I had to push through the first few chapters in order to become engrossed in the story. That being said, once I got through the first stretch, I was happy I kept reading because the book (after chapter three or so) is great. Keep in mind that this is book 7 of a series (so the title says), so maybe if I’d read books 1-6, the beginning of book 7 wouldn’t have felt as though it was dragging.

The story has everything a wolfy romance should. The mystery is mysterious, the suspense is suspenseful, and the pages almost turn themselves. The only thing that really bothered me is that I didn’t find anything in the story that would make me really want to stand in line for book 8 (if there is one). I’ll still read more by Patricia Rosemoor, but I really feel like I should see how many books are ahead in the series before I read out of order again.

I really wish I could have loved this book, I just really didn’t. It entertained, but with no pizazz. I’m actually really bummed about it. I’m still giving the book three stars because I feel like it does deserve that many for entertainment value alone.

Aileen has went to Wolf Lodge to research humans and wolves interactions in nature . She discovers so much more than that with her dreams and the supernatural world surrounding her .Amazing characterizations , great fast read , really good book for Fantasy lovers .

Wolf Moon (The McKenna Legacy Book 7) by Patricia Rosemoor

I hadn’t read the earlier books in this series before I read this book, and I don’t believe the story lost anything due to this lack of pre-knowledge. The story-line was fast paced and with the characters being so well drawn, I quickly went from page to page, ending the book only to look online for others in the series. Well done to Ms Rosemoor, for creating such a great cast and twisting them into an intriguing and absorbing story. I will definitely be reading more of Ms Rosemoor’s work.

Wolf Moon

Aileen McKenna comes back to Wolf Creek after 22 years for a family reunion and to finish her thesis: “Can Wolf and Man coexist in the modern world”. Her memory is hazy about why she cannot remember that time.
Why does she feel she knows Rhys who has a connection to the local wolf pack?
She is staying at Grey Wolf Lodge where she meets owner Valerie Glenister and handyman Fisk both of whom make her feel uneasy.
You will like the pace of the story as the mystery unfolds and more bodies are found. Are they killer wolves on the loose?
This is book 7 in the McKenna family legacy and it is well worth trying some of the others.
I was given an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

The seventh book in the McKenna Legacy series is one intriguing read. It is full of anticipation building suspense that keeps readers glued to the pages and on the edge of their seat. The story takes place at a steady pace that ensures that readers are never bored and one that along with the wonderfully intriguing setting keeps readers aware that danger could strike at any moment. Aileen and Rhys are strong, compelling characters that easily draw readers to them and ensures that they want to know everything about their story. Their romance is sweet but full of anticipation as well while they each try to unravel secrets while they are facing an unknown danger as well. The town itself like I said is intriguing which adds to the suspense and adds a kind of mystifying fell to the story.

Patricia Rosemoor has a gift for making her stories seem intense and holding her readers hostage with hair raising suspense that sends delightful tingles of anticipation down the spine. This is the first book I have read of the McKenna Legacy but since the stories could be read as standalone that was no problem and the story certainly aroused my curiosity about the other McKenna and their stories so I will be reading them soon.
