I am floored by this little book. The depth of emotion conveyed in its beautifully illustrated pages is phenomenal. I love that it is a universal story, one of love and loss. However, the story is also specific to a young Indian girl and her grandfather. I would gladly share this book in my practice with my clients to help them come to terms with loss and using it as an opportunity to celebrate life, just as the little girl does in this story.
