This was way to short of a book. I understand it is short stories but they all were too quick to end. It was hard to get invested in them. The writing was good hopefully the author writes a full book one day. Thank you to Netgalley for allowing me to read and review this book.

A startling strange and brief collection of stories. Still processing what I think and wondering what the intentions of the author were. I'd be interested to see what a novel from Harlow would look like.

This book was not for me. It was written very well and had great subject matter but I just did not get into it. I look forward to reading more by Luna Harlow because again, it was well written.

The description of Luna Harlow's Constellation of Neon Lights states that she uses a Sci Fi setting to explore large topics, such as the nature of story telling, memory, death, existentialism and life. Published on March 16, 2018, Constellation of Neon Lights is available via epub on Amazon and other e-book stores. I was provided a copy for free by NetGalley for a fair and honest review.

As short a read as Constellation of Neon Lights is, it's clear throughout that Harlow is a gifted writer. With few words she builds worlds, interesting characters and  connection. That said, the book doesn't reach the goals it sets out to meet.

Overall, Harlow has provided us with mere pages, what amounts to a collection of work in progress story ideas. Only one of the six stories meets the end goal of exploring any concept with real depth and manages to feel complete as a standalone. One End, Always Present is very much worth the read and from that I want to get another chance to really get to enjoy Harlow's work. However, the other five stories seem to be blurbs waiting to be readdressed before being readied to share.

I look forward to reading more of Harlow's work. She's a strong writer with great potential. However, I'm coming away from Constellation of Neon Lights feeling bummed out.
