Reading this book was like catching up with long lost girlfriends you haven’t heard from in a while. Jada, Cat & Linnie are balancing running the now super successful Wayfair Inn with their home lives. Linnie is getting ready to get married, Cat is enjoying the newlywed life and Jada is hanging out with Philip & Fancy. A mysterious guest books a significant stay at the Wayfair and made it clear she wanted to talk to Jada. The mystery she is trying to solve involves a friend of Jada’s from the past.
The Sweet Lake Sirens were in fine form helping get Linnie’s wedding ready and being their persnickety selves. I loved the romance between Jada & Philip and the relationship with Fancy too.
I’m not sure how I let this book linger on my TBR list so long but I’m sure glad I read it. What a great book!

Thank you to NetGalley and Lake Union Publishing for the chance to read this book.

This is the third book is one of those series where each book is a standalone about a different character in the same town. I like this kind of series because I have a terrible time picking up a book midway through a series and reading it even if it’s not a standalone. So this one worked out well for me in taht I hadn’t read the pre ious ones.
It’s a sweet story. Very Hallmark movie-like. It’s a charming book set in a storybook town. Feels a lot like Stars Hollow. Reminded me a little of Karen Hawkins Book Charmer, but with less magical realism.

I absolutely loved the previous books so I was looking forward to this. I wasn’t disappointed as I thoroughly enjoyed this story.

We now get Jadas story. I liked Jada in the previous books and couldn’t wait to read her story. Along with her boyfriend Phillip we get his delightful daughter as well.

This is another lovely well written story by this author. Although they are all stand-alones I recommend you read the previous books as they are great reads as well.

I loved the town of Silver Lake and the relationships amongst the characters, especially Jada and Philip. Christine Nolfi weaves a complex plot involving friendships, death, and second chances. Overall, a great book!

Third book in the Sweet Lake Series -- but the first one I have read. But it t can definitely be a stand alone. Christine makes me fall in love with each and every character. She took me into this world and I didn't want to leave. Her stories keep me wanting to read just one more chapter and there's always a twist or two to make me turning pages when I should be sleeping. I will definitely be going back and reading the first two. I also hope she will keep this story alive with many more sequels. I

THE SEASON OF SILVER LININGS is the third book in the Sweet Lake series. I am a huge fan of Christine Nolfi’s books and have loved every single one of them. The trio of managers, Cat, Linnie, and Jada are hard at work getting ready for Linnie’s wedding, running the inn and living their lives. This is Jada’s story as she confronts the past and the events surrounding the death of her troubled young friend six years earlier.

Once I started reading THE SEASON OF SILVER LININGS I was instantly invested in the story and had a hard time putting it down. Why does my family always want to eat when I’m reading such an awesome story? The Sirens, a group of women in Sweet Lake will keep you laughing out loud with their antics and their meddling. They try to push people together without the people realizing what they are doing until it is too late! They are hysterical! Jada Brooks is their newest victim! When a special guest arrives at the inn with many questions, the plot unfolds at first as the reader may have thought, but then there are twists and turns you never saw coming with an ending you can’t even imagine!

THE SEASON OF SILVER LININGS is going to pull on your heartstrings and never let you go. I’m excited to continue with the Sweet Lake series and all the lovable characters that live there. Will Jada finally give her old friend Philip the time of day and her heart? Christine Nolfi sure knows how to write a story that keeps the reader emotionally invested in all the characters, not just the main ones, but all of them. It takes the whole town, coming together, to untangle the mess Bodi made years ago and you will find yourself cheering them all on. If you love small town romance with family drama thrown in, you have to give THE SEASON OF SILVER LININGS a try. You will not be sorry and I bet you will want to become a Siren just like me.

This was just an okay book to me. I think it would have helped me a lot if I had ready the first two books in the
series. I felt like I was missing some background details that would have made the story flow better.

The three friends who run the Sweet Lake inn are very different. To be honest, I found Linnie and Cat to be a little irritating. And Jada seemed to enjoy suffering a little too much. She carries guilt and responsibility and is the one who manages to be responsible...probably the only reason the inn is surviving much less becoming prosperous. Another problem I had was with the "sirens." They just didn't set well with me.

There was some sexual innuendo, but nothing overt. So nothing sexually offensive.

I do think I would have enjoyed this book better if I had read the previous books in the series. So I would not discourage others from reading The Season of Silver Linings if a reader has enjoyed the previous books or would be willing to read them the first two in the series before reading this one.

Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC in exchanged for my honest review.

I am loving everything about this series - the characters, the setting, the stories! The Sirens add some excitement to this series. This story was very intriguing with the twist of the unknown guest, who began asking questions about the past. The writing is smooth so the story flows through the pages. A fantastic read for your next beach vacation.

This was my favorite book of this trilogy. Jade definitely had the most relatable personality and relationship of the three women in this series. The excessive meddling of the sirens was sometimes frustrating but I loved how this book demonstrated more of their loving and silly sides. I will definitely recommend this series to romance lovers.

This is a wonderful conclusion to the Sweet Lake series. Set in Ohio the Inn is doing well for Jada, Cat and Linnie. The three best friends are planing Linnie's wedding and Cat is expecting after her honeymoon. Jada is carrying the load and helping neighbor Phillip and his 6 year old daughter Zoe. When a woman comes to town asking lots of questions about an old friend, Jada has to relive a tragic accident from her past. This is a good story on it's own but ties up the previous books with the required happy endings. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Great addition to the series!
Returning to Sweet Lake and the Wayfair Inn in this third book in the series was all I hoped it would be and more! I have been looking forward to Jada and Philip’s story since reading the first book, and especially wanting more of sweet little Fanny. In this book, family, in many forms, and friendships, along with suspense about a mystery from the past, take the reader on an enjoyable journey. I loved the focus on doing what is best for a child, and I feel that Christine Nolfi portrayed this forming of a new family very realistically. I love her style of writing and I hope there will be more books in the series!

The Season Of Silver Linings is a story of enduring friendships old and new, loss, love and the meaning of family. Jada, Cat and Linnie, run the Wayfair Inn. Jada is not only the pastry chef but is also having to pick up the slack for Cat who is still in the midst of newly wedded bliss and Linnie, who just happens to be preparing for her own wedding. Jada, always the responsible one has her hands full, but unexpected things are about to happen for the always prepared Jada. Jada will have to relive some very painful memories and in the process she just might find out that everything is not her responsibility and may actually find happiness for herself.

Christine Nolfi has written a beautiful series that has you caring for all the people involved in the story and making you want to be part it. Wonderfully written and delightful to read.

I fell in love with this story from the very start. I highly recommend this series to all who love a heartwarming story with some twists and turns you never expect but have you cheering for all!

This is the first book I have read by Christine Nolfi, but now I am on a search for her other books! This is a wonderful, sweet read with well developed characters. The Sirens are a colorful group that can get their noses in many situations. The smell town setting, friendships, love and family all add to this page turner. This is a lighthearted story with a fun accent, a little suspense and a happily ever after. I loved this book!
I received an advance copy of this book and I voluntarily wrote an honest review.

This is the third book in this charming series. Dont worry, it can be read as a stand alone but if you have not read the previous books in the series, get your credit card ready, you will be buying them the instant you finish this one or maybe before you finish. The characters are well written and I love the setting. Pick this up today and prepare to love it.

This is a charming series and this was my favorite of the three books in the series. I do recommend the entire series however this book can be read as a stand alone if preferred,
The Season of Silver Linings” by Christine Nolfi is a delightful novel. Christine Nolfi writes with vivid descriptions of the landscape and colorful cast of characters in this series. The story takes place in the Wayfair Inn in Sweet Lake and centers around life in this small town.

Christine Nolfi has a talent for writing character development and I love the Sirens, a group of older women that have been in all three novels. They are much like the Golden Girls, great friends, loyal and very humorous. They work as a team together bringing this novel to life. They are delightful and fun to read about. Book 3 has some drama but mainly its a story of friendship , of bringing dreams to reality and appreciating the gift of life in our later years. Beautifully told I enjoyed it from beginning to end.

I highly recommend this book for your reading enjoyment., I do recommend the entire series. My opinions are my own.

This was the first book I read in the Sweet Lake Series. I ended up really liking the book, although it took me awhile to get into the story. I loved Jada and her story line with Millicent and Philip. For owning a hotel together, Linnie and Cat pretty much did nothing compared to Jada. Cat being a newlywed and going home early to "spend time" with her husband is hardly an excuse for ditching your work onto someone else. Then there was Linnie and her wedding. She had everyone else planning the wedding because she couldn't make decisions. She even had someone else doing the seating charts. Since everyone else was planning Linnie's wedding, she should have at least been at work. She was completely ridiculous with choosing her wedding dress. That whole scene right in the beginning of the book made me wonder if I would enjoy the book. I hate to say I found Fancy annoying and that whole big girl thing drove me crazy. She's six years old and the adults allowed her to do what she wanted, even wear some crazy dress as the flower girl. One of the sirens even admitted "they spent too much time kowtowing to an obstinate first grader."

This book centers around Jada and leads up to Linnie's wedding. Millicent shows up at the Inn for an extended stay and wants to take private baking lessons with Jada. Millicent is in search of someone and feels like Jada is the key to finding her.

I really enjoyed the part where everything is finally revealed about Millicent and her spouse and you learn the full truth about Bodi. I loved the story, writing style and characters (most of them.) I definitely recommend the book. I need to read the previous two books, which might change my mind about Linnie and Cat.

Thanks to NetGalley, Lake Union Publishing and the author, Christine Nolfi, for a free electronic ARC of this novel.

“The Summer of Silver Linings” (Sweet Lake #3) by Christine Nolfi

Once again, Christine Nolfi, has written a beautiful, moving, and a masterpiece within the "Sweet Lake" series. Her captivating characters bring to life a novel that is so well written, grabbing and holding the readers attention doesn’t need to said.

With its well written setting and it's true southern flair, the authors writing is beautiful, touching and enervating, as well as a solid read. It is a novel that holds its own from beginning to end.

This is the third book in a series, which I didn't read. I was able to read this without feeling like I was missing anything by not reading the first two. The characters were well developed. The perfect summer read!
