Every story I read by author Christine Nolfi sticks with me and touches my heart in a special way. This amazing story involves family, friends, secrets, feelings of guilt, surprises and hope for the future. Excellent read. I received a copy of this book and this is my personal honest opinion. I loved this book! The Season of Silver Linings is my favorite in the Sweet Lake Series. I enjoyed revisiting the town and its residents. What made this one stand out to me was the mysterious stranger who came to town and what that may bring to some of its residents. I hope there are more books to come in this series! Well done!

Loved this fast read. Perfect for anyone who enjoys a well written and thought out story. My favorite in the Sweet Lake Series.

I think that this book is Christine Nolfi's best work yet! It is a story with drama, romance, humor, and mystery. The characters are charming and delightful, and the plot twist unexpected. Well done, Ms. Nolfi, BRAVO!

THE SEASON OF SILVER LININGS by Christine Nolfi is the third book in her Sweet Lake series. I thoroughly enjoyed the first two books, so I could not wait to get back to Sweet Lake and the Wayfair Inn for the next part of the story. Most of the characters are ones we grew to know and love from the first two books, but there are a few new characters in the third book. As with the previous books, the story centers on themes of love, family, friendship and loyalty. This time, the story focuses on Jada, the long-time pastry chef and one of the managers at the Wayfair. The plot was expertly crafted with just the right mix of drama, romance and suspense. I never saw the dramatic twist at the end coming. THE SEASON OF SILVER LININGS was delight to read. For me, this is the best book yet and I highly recommend it. Thank you to the author, publisher and NetGalley for the early copy

Christine Nolfi scores another hit with the latest installment of her Sweet Lake series. A stranger visits the Wayfair Inn in search of someone whose connection to Sweet Lake may best be kept secret, at least in the mind of co-manager Jada Brooks. As Jada comes to know and care about Millicent Earhardt, however, her evolving relationship with Philip Kettering and his young daughter, Fancy, are at risk due to the impact of the secret Jada believes drew Millicent to Sweet Lake. As Jada struggles with how best to handle the truth Millicent seeks, she learns the art of putting herself first and accepting that she should not always take on the burdens of others. Nolfi again weaves weighty issues into a story of romance and friendship, where strong female characters deal with mental health, troubled youth, and the question of what really lies behind the secrets each of us deal with in our everyday lives.
