This was my first read from Sarah Wilson and she did not disappoint. The story captured my attention from page 1 and I stayed up all night reading. Can't wait to read more from this author.

There's nothing better than a super-hot, super-talented musician who has his eyes on you. The only thing you have standing in the way is your "don't date musicians" rule. I love the musicians trope, especially the behind-the-scenes stuff. It's fascinating to me. Maisy's story was crazy, but I loved how much love was between her and her brothers. The banter was fun to read too.

I really enjoyed this book! I thought Maisy and Ryan were cute. I liked that they were both musicians. Usually you have a fan or someone who doesn't want to be in the industry fall in love with the rock star. This was a nice take on it! I haven't read anything by the author before but I was pleasantly surprised with her writing style. Everything flowed really well. Even those this was the second book in a series I wasn't lost at all. I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a Romance with some drama and a nice story!

I am totally loving Sarah Wilson’s brand of romance. She makes me swoon, laugh and feel everything g the characters feel. With all forms of romance being my reading preference, her stories and characters are breathtakingly fresh. Her story telling is clean like a YA but still manages to encompass all the passion and heat I would expect from a contemporary or new adult romance...while still keeping it focused on the sexual and emotional connection for the characters without sex taking away the focus of their story.

In #Moonstruck, she gives us Maisy Harrison, a feisty and sassy lead singer in a band with her very overprotective, girl crazy brothers. She lives and breathes her music and has dreams of being able to fulfill her dreams of having a successful band.

We also meet, Ryan De Luna, an über famous pop star with the typical pop star reputation. And when they first meet, its sparks and tension that event evolves into a great friendship and eventually love.

It was a beautiful story!

Another well written clean, romance from Sariah Wilson. She brings her characters alive so easily and it’s refreshing to have a romance that starts off on such a basic level as this. As with the first #Lovestruck book, it was a nice change that there was a man who respected a woman’s boundaries and wasn’t trying to change her mind about what she wanted or how she wanted to experience things. I also loved that there as a little appearance from Chase and Zoe from the #Starstruck book.

I liked Maisy. I liked her rules, and how determined she really wanted to stick to them. I liked the way she was with her brothers and the way she treated the people around her. I loved the chemistry between her and Ryan. It was instant, and it was written brilliantly. Maisy and her brothers banter was great, and I’m secretly hoping that if there is another #Lovestruck book then it’ll be about one of them. I’m not bothered which one!!

Ryan was a gentleman and I really liked him. I loved that he treated Maisy with respect, especially when it came to her decision about waiting to have sex. He may have hinted that’s what he wanted, but he kept within her boundaries. I loved his sense of humour and how honest he was.

The storyline flowed brilliantly. I wish we’d seen more from Ryan’s point of view but it still worked really well. The little things are the things that make this book, not the big monumental moments. It’s the little things like how a photo is described or how things are said. There is one moment where I thought Maisy was a bit harsh, unfair and a little too hotheaded for her own good, but it all worked out fine. I do love a good ending.

I’m really hoping that there will be another book in this series. I love Sariah Wilson’s writing and her characters. I love that there is chemistry, passion and a fairly normal feel to the people within her books. I love that there are sexy men who do not instantly want to jump into a woman’s underwear (and that it doesn’t happen) and that her books are full of humour, witty comments and fierce women.

4.5 Stars!

New to me author Sariah Wilson, has written an exciting and absorbing novel with #Moonstruck, the second book from her #Lovestruck series. It is a riveting read, replete with a meaningful plot, realistic characters and a clean romance. This story is about pop star Ryan De Luna, a very good looking and talented singer. Ryan is a very kind and generous man, even though the media promulgates a completely opposite identity. He gives an up and coming band a chance at stardom, and that is how he begins a relationship with Maisy Harrison, the lead singer of the band Yesterday.

Maisy and her brothers live quite frugally, in order to pay for their mother's medical care. In addition to playing together in a rock band, they each hold other jobs in order to make ends meet. Maisy is a hairdresser, but prefers to be writing music and performing. Although she is a musician, she has no desire to be romantically involved with one. However, touring with Ryan changes her mantra, and the sexual chemistry that they share is hard to ignore. Maisy is not a groupie and her feelings Ryan are quite real. Ryan feels blessed that Maisy likes him for him, not just for his celebrity.

Although I prefer my books with a dose or two of spice, this book's captivating story made up for it. Ryan's kindness was unbelievable, especially given his pop status and the way he is portrayed by the media. I liked them both as individuals and a couple. Maisy's brothers are cool, and I am hopeful that Ms. Wilson will tell their stories as well. Overall, this is a sweet romance that will keep you engaged from beginning to end.

I really hate writing reviews like this, but this book did not work for me at all. There were a few issues. To start I absolutely hated the main character, Maisy. She was a 21-year-old who acted like she was 15. She was so naïve and ridiculous, especially considering her family history. I also thought their romance moved way too fast. It was like they kissed for the first time, and then 2 chapters later, they’re talking about marriage. I found the brothers and Ryan interesting, but didn’t feel like you really got to know any of those characters very well at all. I have read some of the author’s other books and loved them, but this one, unfortunately, I really didn’t like.

Fake girlfriend becomes real!

Singer Maisy Harrison and her brothers have a band but they struggle to find an audience but when she goes with a friend to a Ryan DeLuna concert because her friend had gotten backstage passes. Maisy wasn’t over impressed with Ryan but when her phone was left behind, someone had picked it up. Maisy invited whoever picked it up to where her and her brothers where playing but Maisy was surprised it was Ryan. Ryan had commented on social media about a cover of one his songs she had recorded. Maisy and her brothers were invited by Ryan to open for his concert tour with a small catch, Ryan needs a fake girlfriend!

Maisy and Ryan have being musicians in common but they both have backgrounds making it hard to believe in romance because of family issues but they work though the issues.

Received an advance reader copy in exchange for an honest review.

This story is just like a brownie (reference to a part of the book) - sweet, delicious, and leaves you wanting more! As always, the author does a fabulous job of drawing her audience in with engaging characters, a fast-moving plot, and a great sense of humour. I highly recommend it. Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the early copy. All thoughts are my own.

Romance, clean although PG-13 for some intense sensual scenes (nothing explicit, but....)
This was an interesting read. Maisy's disdain for singing sensation Ryan DeLuna and their relationship that builds as he books Maisy's band (she and her brothers) to be the opening act for his band is a fun roller coaster ride read that has lovely romance, and heartfelt emotions. S.W. always gets the angst of the age, she always writes the feelings, the stresses, the emotions of her characters that entrance the reader into wanting more. This definitely had the highs and lows, the drama and beautiful chemistry that readers will love. Maisy, her brothers, her family situation and Ryan, with his band, and his desire to be with someone genuine, forthright, and loving created an engaging, heartfelt, and satisfying read. Not for all readers if you don't enjoy sensuality. This definitely pushes limits for some who are looking for clean reads.
I can't wait to see the next book in this series if there is one!

As much as I enjoyed #Starstruck I didn't enjoy #Moonstruck.

I found the fact that Maisy completely LOSES IT when a woman shows up with a 2 year old baby that is Ryan's to be just over the top and nonsensical. I get she had some issues to overcome and was finally in a place where she can see herself with Ryan in the future and have their own babies but to freak out like that because he has another baby, that even he didn't know about, was just too much for me. I had a difficult time getting past this one thing and it did heavily factor in to my rating.

With that said I do enjoy Wilson's writing and story telling and will definitely read her in the future.

Can a story even get more adorable? I mean seriously, two genuinely good, decent people finding their way despite all odds? I don’t think it gets much better than that. Maisy & Ryan’s story is just the kind of sweet, easy, breezy book that poolside reading calls for. The concept of #MoonStruck revolves around music but, although I personally can’t carry a tune, I still found myself relating to Maisy in many ways. Growing up as the only girl with 5 brothers, I recognized an authenticity in the way the author characterized her and the impact her siblings had on her worldview & relationships (both platonic & romantic). I also identified with her experience-driven skepticism of relationships & men in general. Having been there myself at her age and experiencing a similar resistance to the connection with my now-husband, I was rooting for her all the way!

Oh my goodness- where do I start...
First, thank you for writing a book that is truly romantic without crossing over into steamy, smutty or erotic.
Second, thank you for giving me the opportunity to feel all of the wonderful “feels” with this book! I cried, laughed, was frustrated and completely shocked!
Lastly, thank you, Sariah Wilson, for such an awesome story!!!

I really didn't see how this book got so many five stars. It wasn't bad but I personally wanted to knock out Maisy, decide already her back and forth about having a relationship with Ryan drove me crazy. I mean I get that her father abandoned them and that her mother dedicated so much to a man who never deserved it, but Ryan should not have had to pay for that. She needed to make a decision and honestly like her brothers said she needed to be able to deal with what happened, and maybe even get personal help. I also didn't understand how she didn't realize that her mother had to deal with the responsibility of being a mother and taking care of her kids instead of thinking of this man who repeatedly betrayed her, she was as responsible for allowing it. Aaand, I wanted answers about Diego, that was just dropped why did her treat her that way, why was he the way he was? Sooo all that said I didn't hate the book but I felt that Ryan deserved better.

This was an interesting read for me. As I don't generally read a lot of romance where there are no sex scenes and when I do I tend to struggle with them. Unless there's something about the characters that grabs me, and whilst that didn't really happen with #Moonstruck I did enjoy it, and that was mostly down to the way the story and romance developed. As it was well paced, sweet, and very engaging; and I enjoyed the banter that Maisy and Ryan shared.
And whilst personally I'm not sure I would read more from this particular series, I would certainly read more from this author and I would recommend #Moonstruck to others. Especially if you are a fan of the series.

This book was like something I would've wanted to write, it was fun, cute and simply amazing.

Ryan De Luna is a famous singer who everyone loves except for Maisy Harrison. They meet when Maisy's friend, Angie gets her backstage in one of his concerts and as soon as they meet they start insulting each other which is why she ends up leaving her phone behind, which eventually leads to Ryan inviting her band, Yesterday (her and her brothers) to go on tour with him.

I loved how their relationship went from "I can't stand you" to "you're the person I want to talk to all day". They just had the cutest friendship, they supported each other, had inside jokes, talked about everything and they simply understood each other.

As soon as Ryan asked her to be his fake girlfriend I knew I was going to love this book, especially because they already had feelings for each other.

The dynamic of Maisy's family was kind of cute, they protected her from everyone even though she had enough walls to keep everyone away.

It's great in a book when secondary characters actually have a life, and in this one, we got great stories from these characters.

I'm a sucker for great endings, especially if it includes a reference to a great movie and actually makes sense with everything we previously read, connecting everything to be an amazing ending.

The only thing I have been wondering... Why did Diego act that way? My theory is that he really loved coffee and blamed Maisy for the lack of coffee in the bus.

A story between a pop star Ryan and the lead singer from rock band Maisy. After meeting Ryan Maisys life changes one hundred percent. Suddenly she and the band are the opening act for a famous singer. And suddenly she is Ryan fake girlfriend. But attraction is from the start very strong and the more time they spend together the stronger it becomes and suddenly fake becomes real. But Maisy has a lot of daddy issues and are the reason that their story fell apart. A great cute story, Maisy is a girl whit so many complex and issues and I was so happy when she started working on them. I liked that it was an unexpected story with a twist that I didn't see it coming. Rayan was also a great guy who was trying to prove his love and devotion to Maisy but had to climb more than a few obstacles.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly.

This book had me hooked immediately it was cute and funny. Had bits of banter. I liked how it had some texts in it. I can connect with how Maisy is surrounded by her brothers influence. The way her brothers act about her dating or talking to guys is the exact same as mine do. It really makes me laugh and I connect so well with it. This book is fantastic and such a quick read. I really fell in love with the characters. It is extremely difficult to put down. The chemistry between Maisy and Ryan is fantastic, it really draws you into the book more. At first I kind of questioned it but then I realized my boyfriend and I had a crazy draw when we first met. Okay well I can’t speak for him but when I first met him I kept sneaking looks at him and tried to be around him even though I didn’t know him at all. I was just extremely drawn to this fabulous man. This book is very well written and you really feel like your there and can feel what Maisy can feel. I really didn’t want this book to end and when it did. I just wanted to find out more of what happened in their lives. It’s kind of addicting honestly. Would read again and highly recommended.

4 1/2 stars.

#Adorable is the word for this story! Ryan and Maisy were super adorable and the way their relationship developed had me turning the pages until the wee hours. I couldn't put it down.
I also liked Maisy's brothers. Great addition to the cast and storyline.

The first in the series was a movie star, this one a rock star. I wonder if the next one will be some kind of an athlete celebrity?
It's a great series and I recommend it. Clean romance.

I got a copy from the publisher through NetGalley and this is my opinion.

I do love Sariah Wilson's stories! She is a "clean" author, but that doesn't stop her characters from having chemistry and heat which I just love. Ryan and Maisy were adorable and so relatable. I love all the little back and side stories going on around the main characters. Looking forward to the next Wilson book!
