This is the first book in the series and I am looking forward to reading the other nine. I enjoy a well written MC romance and this was a pretty good read. Steve Knight is the VP of the club and a former Seal. Jess is just out of a bad marriage and she is the CFO of the company Steve works for. Steve and Jess have lots of chemistry it was just so sweet that he never gave up on her a super start to the series

This is Book 1 in the MC series. I really enjoyed reading this book. Steve is the VP of the Club and has a military background. His club is his family and he takes scare of them in any way needed. Jess works for the same company that Steve does and finally (after 3 years) she decides to say yes when he asks her out again. So much happens in this book. You will love it all. Well, maybe not a couple of the things but I always did say payback was fun. I can’t wait to see if the next book is just as good as this one was.

I really liked the characters in this book and the storyline. It doesn't read as smoothly as some but it has more meat to the story than others though and I know after reading this it hasn't been professionally edited yet either so I'm giving it three stars and will definitely read book two.

Love Jess and Steve and their friends. The only thing that could make their kids any cuter would be reading them with animals.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

A fast paced story of Steve and Jess. Steve was special forces military. He came home and is now VP of MC. Jess works in the office of the company where Steve works and hasn't dated in a while due to a former abusive relationship. After months of asking her out, Jess says yes. Jess is a submissive which works out well since Steve is dominant. This was brought up several times but not a lot of BDSM between them. The sex is hot. Steve and Jess fall in love and move in together rather quickly. Although she has a new relationship with Steve she is accepted by most of the club. She gets kidnapped by someone she refused to see but is rescued. Things still don't go smoothly for her as she has an illness that could make her bedridden if not taken care of. She doesn't want everyone to know about it since she is afraid that people will feel sorry for her. Once everyone knows, they try to help and protect her. She becomes a very big part of the club helping with businesses. There's a lot going on and I don't want to give away the best parts. I loved all the action I received this book from Net Galley for an honest review.
