Was not a huge fan. It was kind of boring. Not real scary. Very quick read. Some errors. Not sure if I would give this author another try.

Gretchen is afraid of just about everything. She has several friends who kind of. bully her into going to a.cemetery and reading a curse off a witches tombstone. Nightmares, seeing a white dog and her friends getting hurt are just part of the problems she is has After the cemetery incident, she starts avoiding her friends. Her parents take her to a counselor, but she refuses to tell anyone about her reading the curse on the witches tomb.. She knows the witch is after her, but how does she get rid of it. She talks to her minister to see if he can help her and she reads a book that may help. Will she be haunted by this witch the rest of her life ? A short horror story that can be read during the commuting. The book is easy to read in few hours.

this book felt very bland and had a lot of swearing in it. I didn't really care for it at all. The characters were not well developed and the story plot had a lot of promise. It just wasn't that great.

I wanted to get into this story, but my English major brain kept getting in the way. The entire prologue, let alone the first page of the prologue, was full of contradicting tenses, and getting into chapter 1, I couldn't get past the use of the author's use the constant passive language.
