I thought this was a good read! The writing flowed well, and I thought the characters were developed nicely. Bishop and Brooke had great chemistry, and I thought they were good together. I wished Brooke would have had a little more backbone. She let Nannette walk all over her, and Bishop had to be the one to do anything about her. The only thing I would have liked would have been an epilogue. I know this is going to be a series, but I still would have liked a little bit of a longer look into their future. This was a first for me from this author, but it won't be my last.
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

Holy hotness Batman, I think my kindle is going to spontaneously combust. It's certainly smokin.

A sinfully delicious read and a great start to what I'm sure in true Sawyer Bennett style will be a great series.

You are never disappointed when you read a Sawyer Bennett book and with a vast complex group of characters on this new Hockey team it's going to make for some great stories and I can't wait to meet the women that knock these men of their feet

A new hockey series by Sawyer Bennett and she starts it off with a bang. Bishop Scott is now playing for the expansion team in Phoenix and while at a bar before training camp starts he spots a women he decides to talk to. Before getting to her table some other guy is there and she is putting him in his place and he decides to try a different technique. It works and they hit it off, at least for the night. When he finally has to go to the arena for the start of camp he can’t believe his eyes, the same women from the other night is there also and just went into an office. Following her in he did not notice her name on the door, Brooke Perron. They are in the clutches of each other and kissing when the door opens and this big man standing asking his daughter if everything is alright and why is Bishop kissing her? Not being able to come up with anything quickly she responds that they are engaged. The man standing there her father is also the head coach of the team. Bishop is surprised to say the least, pissed off a little yes, but goes with the plan. Now the remainder of the is about them hockey, her father, and a not so called friend of hers that shows up from New York and causes trouble. Read this very good book and see what happens to all of these characters.

4.75 Stars for the first in the new Arizona Vengeance series. I completely adored Bishop!! This story was fantastic from start to end! A fake engagement. Hotter than hot chemistry and encounters. So much hockey and details galore that made the story really come to life. Bishop and Brooke have definitely become a favorite couple. Now I’m eager to see what’s next in this series for sure!

If you started to grow tired of the Carolina Cold Fury Series or gave up on it, give this one a try! Sawyer Bennett said this series was going to be a little more hockey and a little more male pov than her Carolina series and I think she nailed it. Bishop and Brooke had great chemistry and I liked how she wrote them with realistic reactions and vulnerabilities. There wasn't the push/pull between them and unnecessary angst or drama was left out. Although it came a little late in the story, the subplot was interesting and kept you wondering what was going to happen (and if the drama was coming). There is a bit of an info dump about hockey that didn't feel natural, but at times it was also interesting, i.e. the pre-game rituals. There is a perfect setup of the other characters and an obvious realization that the ones you want most (Tacker and the owner Dominik) are going to be held back to drive us (ME!) crazy.

I received a copy of this book from NetGalley for an honest review.

I love hockey and hockey romance stories (pause now for this lifelong Caps fan to plug her - Stanley Cup Champion - Washington Capitals! ... and now back to our regular review programming...). I love hot romance tales with string alpha guys. I love fake fiancé stories. Hellooo Bishop: An Arizona Vengeance Novel (the Arizona Vengeance bring a hockey team; this is no revenge tale). You had me at your premise. Luckily the author, Sawyer Bennett, knows how to pull all of this together into a heck of a wonderful story that hit all the right spots. There’s a piece of me in love with Bishop Scott and wants to be Brooke Perron. That’s a good thing as these are great leads. But for the fact that I’m literally dictating this review my husband from my hospital bed I could go on and on with praises - the book definitely deserves it. Since I can’t do that I will simply note that the book is most definitely one to read, it is easy to highly recommend. I’m definitely looking forward to another Arizona Vengeance novel.

When fate throws them together, Bishop and Brooke end up with more than they bargain for. But, it all works out in their favor!! Bishop is the first of the Vengeance series, and it's just as hot and awesome as the Cold Fury series! I love how these romance stories are more than just how quick can the characters get to the sex, but there's a real story for these characters as well. The plot and the background characters really build up the whole scene of the story! This story has it all.... heat, romance, conflict, great characters, comedy, drama... and completely standalone! I can't wait to read more in this series.

“Tell me what you want.” “I want you,” she says simply. “All of you. All the time.”

We know exactly what we’re in for when we pick up a Sawyer Bennett hockey romance. An abundance of heat, alpha blokes, romance and an exhilarating sports experience as she takes us behind the scenes, into the dressing room, and on the ice with these hockey hunks as they put their bodies and their hearts on the line.

If you loved the Carolina Fury Series, you’ll enjoy the new Arizona Vengeance spin-off series, because all the elements readers enjoyed in that series are repeated in Bishop, the first book in this new series. A sexy sports romance told in dual pov.

Bishop Scott is as talented on the ice as he is off it. Being traded to start up franchise team The Arizona Vengeance, Bishop leaves New York and a string of one night stands to begin a new career in Phoenix.

A one night stand with a stranger turns out to be none other than his new Coaches daughter, Brooke Perron who has left a successful fashion job in New York, a life she loved, to be with her Dad in Phoenix. Brooke’s Dad has struggled to with grief following the passing of his wife, Brookes mother, 7 months earlier, and Brooke feels the need to be close to him to help him through his grief.

After being caught in a compromising position in Brookes office by the Coach, Brooke blurts out that she and Bishop are engaged and met in New York – much to the bewilderment of her father, who had never heard his daughter so much as mention Bishop. Brookes brain snap excuse was her ‘fix’ as she knows if her dad knew the truth of their one night stand, things could get very difficult for Bishop and she wanted to spare him being singled out for treatment by the coach, however, now they have to keep up the ruse relationship until they can ‘call things’ off and take any heat off Bishop.

Together Brooke and Bishop enjoy the physical side of their fake relationship and they certainly burn up the pages, however, as these things go, Bishop and Brooke begin to develop real feelings for one another.

‘She’s the only woman I’ve ever been with that makes me excited to see what tomorrow will bring.’

We felt the searing chemistry between Brooke and Bishop, we reveled in the hockey experience and loved Bishop’s relationship with his Mum. It was so heart-warming and brought a new dimension to Bishop we weren’t initially privy to. We did feel the Nanette storyline detracted from Brooke and Bishop somewhat and thought it was a little unnecessary as Brooke and Bishop more than held the story together. The other issue we had was the lack of an epilogue. We really would have loved a little peek into their future and felt it would have finished their story off beautifully.

Bishop was an entertaining and very, very steamy read and a great start to the Arizona Vengeance series. We loved meeting new characters and catching up with old friends, and can’t wait for more. One character, in particular, HAS to get a book! Tacker tore our hearts out and his story is one we’re desperate to hear!

As a HUGE fan of Sawyer’s Cold Fury Hockey Series, I was so excited when a new hockey series was announced! Not even for one moment did this book disappoint! This new team of hockey hotties looks to be the making of another fantastic series!

Bishop and Brooke were such a fun and super sexy couple! I love the happenstance of them meeting in a bar both new to town and the idea of the one night stand that unexpectedly becomes so much more. Their first encounter has me blushing just thinking about it. Bishop hit every box on my ultimate Hero checklist. I felt like they brought out the best in each other and it was so fun to read.

As the first book in the new Arizona Vengeance Series Bishop truly laid the foundation for several other books. Of all the secondary characters whose books I hope are coming down the pike I have to admit I’m dying to find out who will heal Tacker’s broken heart and who will settle Erik down...I have my fingers crossed on who I hope will steal his heart! Of course there’s Dax and Legend too! I’m not kidding when I say we have tons of great options for new Heroes coming in this series!

If you loved Cold Fury Hockey you will no doubt love the Arizona Vengeance!

Bishop
4 <b> Puck Me Hard </b> Stars
.. Honesty time ..

I started this book as a new author to me that I have been dying to read and I don’t enjoy sports books…

So I was barely getting through the words on the page
<img src="https://media.tenor.co/images/7864f83891329f428197ebbe07a0aceb/raw" width="400" height="300" alt="description"/>
But then again the only sports books I have enjoyed were hockey so I decided to dive in!

Bishop Scott has been traded to a new hockey team called Vengeance. He arrives in town from NYC on the prowl for a one night stand. Brooke has left NYC to join her dads team of Vengeance and be closer to home..she isn’t on the prowl for romance but finds Bishop’s advances too hard to resist.
What happens the morning changes the course of the book.
I would have loved the character to connect more emotionally ( they connected all of the place physically) and maybe even some funny bloopers and comedy.
The book does set it self up with a large series. I cant wait to learn the rest of the team and their stories.
This book is a hot mess of sexual deliciousness and honestly I imagine Bishop unlike the cover and its amazing.

Wonderful start to a new series! I just know I'm going to love getting to know the members of Arizona Vengnece and if Bishop is any indication, this will become everyone's new favorite series.

Once again Sawyer has created characters with their heads on straight who talk through the situation they find themselves in in a open and honest way, while adding minor characters you care about instantly (even a less than minor character I adored) and a dash of drama that's the right amount of "oh no" while being a twist you don't see coming.

Looking forward to more from Sawyer and her expansion hockey team.

Bishop is a fun story with one of my favorite romance tropes, a fake relationship/engagement story line. After hooking up one evening, Bishop and Brooke encounter one another when realizing Brooke is his coach’s daughter. She comes up with a plan to have a fake relationship with Bishop, which eventually turns into more. I enjoyed this first book in Sawyer Bennett’s new hockey series. It was fun and a great intro to this new team. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.

I’ve been reading Sawyer Bennett’s hockey romances for a long time now, so I was excited to read a new series by her. The setup in this one sounded fun. The hero is obviously the hockey player and the heroine is the coach’s daughter. But we have a bit of a twist with a fake relationship that is born due to her father finding them together in a compromising position the day after their one night stand.

Some of this book is classic Ms. Bennett’s style. At the same time, some of it was a little too unbelievable for me. Bishop and Brooke seem to fall into a real relationship quick fast. Maybe some of that was the initial attraction and sexual chemistry that they have in spades, but the other part was being thrown into such close proximity by having to pretend they’re together. But I just expected both of them to be a little more freaked out about the situation and there was none of that. That also made this book very low on conflict. Which, depending on your mood and what you’re looking to read at the time may be just the perfect thing.

I still enjoyed my time reading BISHOP and once again I’m sold on a hockey team created by Ms. Bennett. There was enough hockey to keep the story feeling real in that aspect. I guess maybe it boils down to expectations as to why I didn’t rate this one more. If you are looking for a fake relationship story with a dash of insta love, sexy chemistry and low on angst then this is the read for you. I’ll definitely be on the lookout for the next book.

This book pulls you right in. The story has laughs, pain, secrets, betrayal, and heartbreak.

This is Brooke and Bishop’s story. After one hot night Bishop is wishing he got Brooke’s number but low and behold when he goes into the arena he sees her. When he tries to get another sexy time with her they get caught by her father. She tells a few lies and now he is committed to be her fiancé. As they spend time getting to know each other they are slowly falling. What start out as a lie is turning into so much more. But what happens when the truth comes out no only to her father but the world? Will they be able to handle all the crazy that is going to come at them? Brooke blames herself for all the trouble, but could one lie told to keep her father from hurting bring her a lifetime of love? Or will she lose everything?

I loved these characters and the side characters. I felt I was able to connect with the characters and the story was a great read. Can’t wait for the other hockey players in this series to get there story.

I highly recommend this story, and this author. Can’t wait to read the next story in this series!

Forbidden fruit always tastes better! With the kick off of a new hockey series, Sawyer Bennet introduces us to the Arizona Vengeance team and brings us Bishop's story. The characters are quick to grab attention, and keep us entertained throughout. The team is coming on strong and has a batch of guys that look for some fun times as we dig further into this series. Can't wait for more of their stories! Really enjoyed!

Hot shot hockey player Bishop Scott might just have a little grudge to even up against his former team now that he's been snapped up by the newest team in the NHL, Arizona Vengeance. He plans to play the best hockey of his life, but needs to cut loose the night before training starts to get it out of his system for a bit. When he meets a gorgeous woman at the bar who seems just as down as him for a single night of hot, steamy, no holds barred sex, he's ready to go!

Brooke Perron had no idea the guy she slept with last night was one of her hockey coach father's players! She sitting here in her office at the arena and in he walks to snag her into a steamy kiss like the night never ended. Too bad her dad just walked in! She has to save Bishop from her dad's wrath, so she conveniently introduces him to dear old dad as her fiancee. This fake relationship might end quickly, but it's going to be a lot of fun while it lasts!

I love a good sports romance, particularly when it involves a hockey player or team. Being a fan of Sawyer's Cold Fury series, I was eager to sink my teeth into the first addition of the Arizona Vengeance, and Bishop and Brooke's story did not disappoint.

What starts as a one night stand ends up being so much more.

Brooke is off limits, as the coach's daughter so upon being found in a compromising position, this duo endeavour to fleece those around them pretending to be in a relationship. What results is a fast paced, fun read, with a great blend of drama, heat, heart and humor told in a dual point of view.

Brooke and Bishop are complex and charming. Brooke is sweet, mature, caring and compassionate putting her own desires on hold to provide her father with emotional support in his time of need. As with all of Ms Bennett's hero's Bishop is an undeniable alpha, he's cocky, but can back it up with his charismatic and confident personality and skills on the ice.

The sexual chemistry between this pair is palpable, and passionate. Their banter is fun, flirtatious and witty and I will be eagerly awaiting Erik's story which is to be the next addition to this series.

Bishop by Sawyer Bennett is the start of a new hockey series about a new hockey team, The Vengeance! This first installment introduces us to Brooke and Bishop, the couches daughter and the team’s co-captain. Yup, that’s right, trouble from the start – only they didn’t know it yet!

From the first time they meet you will see their connection. It’s easy and natural, nothing seems forced or fake which I just simply loved! I could tell it was going to be more than a one night stand for them, I just couldn’t wait to see where this would take them.

Brooke has recently made some big changes and moves in her life, starting over can’t be easy for her. All she is looking for is one night to ease some tension. Enter Bishop, just another hot guy at the bar (or so she thinks!) Fast forward to the next day and it’s all downhill from there.

They bump into each other, they reconnect ;) and then they are caught in the biggest lie imaginable at this point! Brooke and Bishop are now “engaged” and they need to make EVERYONE believe it. Well let me tell you, they are VERY convincing. These two are so good together, they even keep the charade up when they are alone…be prepared to fan yourself when these two hit the sheets.

Quickly things are developing into more, Bishop and Brooke connect on so many levels they you would never have expected. They hit some bumps along the way – making their “relationship” even more real. There is a strong level of mature angst in this story, things are handled smoothly and without excessive drama. Watching them both discover their true feelings will warm your heart!

“…she’s the only woman I’ve ever been with that makes me excited to see what tomorrow will bring.”

See how this story turns out and grab Bishop today!

Sawyer Bennett as always delivers a super sexy hockey player in Bishop. Bishop is not happy that he got sent to Arizona to play hockey because his salary was costing his old team too much. He wanted to stay in NY and finally win a championship with his team. He’s missing his city and friends. He runs into a sexy woman on his night out and has an incredible one night stand. Best sex of his life. Goes to his first day of work and turns out that hot woman is Brooke. Brooke turns out to be New Coach’ s daughter! This book was funny and super sexy! I loved Brooke who takes no crap and is so relatable. She loves fashion and yet loves her father. Highly recommend this
great hockey romance.
