Great romantic read with low drama. Fast paced novel with a great build world. Perfect read for an afternoon. Arc provided by Netgalley

I wasn't quite connecting with this one and I had to DNF with the possibility of picking up in the future. Thank you for the opportunity to read the book and I apologize for the inconvenience.

I absolutely adore this author AND her humor. Plus the way she weaves a story always leaves me happy. She is awesome.

4 stars

I really enjoyed this book

Bobbie Jo is a single mother who is determined to make a life for herself and her son. By renovating an old farmhouse is for starters, Men are not her priority at the moment, however, she won't say no to a bit of fun. When her boss arranges his nephew to stay with her to help her with the renovations, the last person she expected was the hot man from the bar who gave her a toe-curling kiss.

I loved Bobbie Jo's determination and motherly instincts. I loved the mystery aspect of Seth and his background. Together these two could take over the world.
I really enjoyed how Alison mixed drama, mystery with sexy and humor. There were so many parts that I actually laughed out loud.
It was extremely well written and flowed perfectly.

Overall I really enjoyed this book.

"Naked desire rolled off his tongue as he slid it into my mouth, reaching inside of me for something more..." Bobbi Jo has no idea who this guy is, but she is more than considering breaking her celibate spell with him. Luckily, the man of no name, has enough self control for them both.

Low and behold, this same man ends right back at her door the next morning. All is better than she could have imagined really. He's handy, he's sweet to her son and she still wants him some kind of bad.

Seth Landry just needs a place to stay for a little while. He is willing to give a helping hand to pay for his room and board. What he didn't expect is to run into the woman he almost had public sex with the night before!

This is my first Alison Bliss book and I definitely enjoyed the whole story line. I will be going back to read the other books in this series.

Wow this book was just so good and so easy to get lost in. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and I just didn't want it to end. I just couldn't get enough of these wonderful characters and I just loved getting to see their journey. I will most definitely be reading more stories from this wonderful author.

This had its good points and bad points.

I love their chemistry!! Their connection was off the chart! Love that she was a single mom who took no shit!

The scenes between her and the sperm donor, they didn't feel consistent. Confusing at times. And the mystery aspect and the reason he's hold back felt off or forced.

I really liked this book. Bobbie Jo is making a go of it as a single mom, raising her son without help from his father. She has a great support system though, and is working toward opening a bed and breakfast. Seth is ex-military-for-hire, coming off of a bad mission, and takes on the role of handyman at Bobbie’s place in return for room and board. The relationship starts as a lot of flirting and sexual innuendos. They are attracted to one another but Seth isn’t planning on sticking around, and Bobbie Jo is guarding her heart and her son. Soon the little trio seems to find themselves becoming more of a family, despite their best intentions. The threat that Seth brings is only addressed toward the end of the story, and I really wasn’t sure the book needed it. There was more than enough drama with Bobbie Jo’s ex to keep things interesting. I found myself easily getting lost in the story and enjoying the way Seth and Bobbie Jo handled their relationship and deepening feelings. I was delighted to find that the book is one in a series by the author, and I’ll definitely be checking them out, too.

This is a new author for me, premise of the book sounded really good which is why I requested it on NetGalley, but you can’t go on premise along to grab the readers attention and keep it throughout the story. I really liked the beginning of this book, Bobby Jo’s the single mom, Jeremy is the ass of a baby daddy who has no interest in being a father, and Seth, the handyman with a secret past. Anytime a character starts the story by saying they haven’t had sex in a number of years, you know you are probably heading down a slippery slope of no return. Problem with Bobby Jo is she flip flopped so may times you just lost interest in her character. Seth wasn’t much better, other than being hot eye candy, but there seemed to be a disconnect with these two and what they really wanted other than sex. Don’t even get me started on Jeremy, how do you become completely disinterested on wanting to be a dad to going to an attorney and fighting for custody, then when you get visitation rights, you continually bring the kid back before it’s time, or show up at his birthday party demanding it’s his weekend without prior notice? Rubbed me the wrong way in so many ways. I found myself jumping ahead just to try and get to a faster pace in the book, but it didn’t work. Just not the book for me unfortunately.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

4.5* Bobbie Jo had her life on track, she had a job, owned her own home and was slowly refurbishing it to become a bed and breakfast. She had great friends that would help if she would ask but she wanted to do it herself.

When her boss asked if his nephew could stay with her and he would help her out in repairs she was all for it. Then she saw Seth and her mouth dropped open. She had actually interacted with him the night before.

The more time these two spend together their chemistry just burns hotter. Once they give into the flame will one time be enough or will it just fan it even higher? Will they be able to go back to the way they were before or will they be able to carve a new path out for themselves?

When secrets come out from Seth's past and also danger comes knocking will they be able to hold up to the onslaught of all the feelings that are running wild or will it just make Bobbie push Seth away once and for all?

This is the first book from this author and I was glad that I did. It was a really good story. Bobbi Jo was a single mom to Austin who is 4 and who has bought an old chicken farm to turn into a bed and breakfast. Enter Seth, he is looking for a place to stay for a little and Bobbi Jo will give that to him if he helps her fix up her place. Seth becomes very protective of both Bobbi and Austin. The chemistry between them was very hot. They try to fight but the attraction but when it is that strong, you can’t. They have to deal with a few things before they can actually get their HEA. I am going to have to go back and read the other books in this series.

I loved this story! Even though I started out thinking that Bobbie Jo was a bit too independent once the story progressed it didn't take too long to realize that she was justified in that independence. Her baby-daddy/sperm donor was a worthless bully and her desire to have him step up into a father-figure was a mistake she soon wouldn't forget.

I liked the way the story progressed, with Bobbie Jo working on transforming her run down chicken farm into a Bed and Breakfast and the introduction of Seth as a temporary boarder/handyman who has plenty of secrets and no desire to put down roots anywhere. Their sexual chemistry was explosive (which was loads of fun) and they both had a lot to learn about letting someone in and accepting help, which is tough for two independent people.

I enjoyed the way the other characters were introduced into the story. I haven't read the first two books in this series but I learned enough to entice me to check both of them out, also. This is considered a stand-alone, full-length story but I enjoyed meeting the residents of Liberty, Texas so much that I would like to read more stories about them.

I received a free copy of this story in exchange for my honest opinion of this book and I was hooked pretty fast on both the story line and characters and will definitely be reading more from this author.

This was my first book from the author. It was a very good introduction to her stories and made me want to read more from her.

I really liked Bobbie and Seth’s story. She’s a single mom to a 4-years-old boy, Austin, struggling to make ends meet and give her son the best life possible. When she agreed to let a guest live with them for the summer, she never anticipated Seth. He’s sexy, mysterious and good with his hands 😉 He’s going to help her with her B&B in exchange for a place to stay and a hot meal.

There’s an undeniable connection between them from the start. What started as lust, has the potential to become more, from Bobbie’s side at least. Seth is so good with Austin! I loved how he showed his tender side with him. My heart broke for Austin; all he ever wanted was a daddy.

The story is really good! There are hot scenes but also tender moments. Seth’s past is coming back to haunt him and Bobbie and Austin are not spared. Austin’s biological father gave me the creeps and I wanted to punch him for what he did. The ending was perfect and left me feeling completely happy with how everything worked out!!!

Well, hello Zeus!... er, Seth!

Wow... this one started out steamy as all get out.

I originally read this a few months ago, and life happened, as it seems to do often, and the review got away from me. I did a re-read so I could adequately review this. Normally, re-reads leave me bored and unfulfilled. Not the case here, I was as interested and invested in the story this time as I was the first time.

Bobbie Jo & Seth had some crazy, off the charts chemistry... and it was the Best.Thing.Ever. I love explosive sexual tension and they definitely delivered.

I loved how Seth interacted with Austin, it was great to see. The characters from the previous books carried over well into this one and I'm so glad their big personalities weren't diminished. And there was loads of alpha-male badassery.

The overall story was suspenseful, engaging, interesting and entertaining. There were some parts where I was getting a little teary-eyed and heartsick. Man, sometimes books hurt. (or I could be pms-ing, eh.)

All in all, a great addition to the Tangled In Texas series.

After reading the blurb, I couldn’t help but draw distant reference to Liam Neesan’s kick ass father role in Taken, I can’t help it, the film was phenomenal and anytime a “special set of skills” is mentioned, I go there. Gleefully! So needless to say, this story promising an undercover man on the run romance was quite appealing.

Seth was an intense, alpha dream! I loved how mysterious he was, he gave a little and just took everything, and it drove Bobbie (and me!!) crazy in the most delicious ways. As a single mom, Bobbie was a really grounded and realistic kind of woman. She was mature and didn’t have the TSTL (too stupid to live) syndrome that some coming of age heroines tend to have in novels that feature a mystery man crowding their space. Bobbie more than held her own and I loved how sexually confident she was.

I loved this super quick novel. The steam level was perfect and the story kept me interested. Would recommend to other Romance readers!

This is the third in the series and I really liked it, but it didn't live up to the hype that the others in the series did. I loved the others better than this one. I would still recommend reading this one because it's still a great read - it just didn't resonate with me like the others.

I have read and loved the previous books in this series and could not wait to read Bobbie Jo's story and what a great read it was I really liked her in the previous book but we get to know her more in this one. I have to admit I did feel a little bad for Seth at times as Bobbie Jo could not make her mind up, she wanted to be with him but had to think of her kids too. This was a really enjoyable read and I just loved it.

This is a book that has a sexy single mom and a hunky sexy guy. It also has a great plot, drama, emotion, great humor and great sexy scenes. Bobbie Jo is raising her young son and does not have a good history with men. Seth is like sex on a stick and when he ends up staying at her place for the summer to fix up her house the sparks fly!, but there's a slime ball father who has ulterior motives and Seth is not all that he seems. Seth will not tell Bobbie Jo anything about his past so she does not fully trust him.

It's a great story with a well-developed plot and wonderful characters. Bobbie Jo has some great friends and some of them are very hunky too. I was enjoying the story and then it ramped up even more! I was on the edge of my seat loving every bit of it. You will have to read the book to see if Bobbie Jo and Seth end up together. I'll never tell, but I guarantee you you will love this book!

Bobbie Jo finally finds her man! If you've been a fan of the Tangled in Texas series by Alison Bliss, you will recognize Bobbie Jo and her boys, the best friends a girl could ever want! It was a lot of fun to watch her sassy self find a man who could hold his own with her, but could also make her feel treasured for a change! Good characters, a solid plot and lots of fun.

Bobbie Jo Weston has her heart set on making a better life for her son when she buys a 20 acre farm and plans to turn it into a bed and breakfast. The place needs a ton of work and there's only so much she can get done in a day, so when an opportunity comes up to have an extra pair of hands around the house, she takes it!

Seth Landry appreciates all that his uncle is doing for him in setting up a work for keep arrangement with Bobbie. He's needing to lay low and heal his mind a bit after leaving the military like life he had been leading. Things happened in his past that he can never walk away from, but spending time with Bobbie and her son are like a breath of fresh air. They can't deny their attraction for long, and he adores her kid as well ... but when his past comes back to haunt him, will he have any kind of future left in this town?
