Here we have Bobbi and Seth. She’s a single mother trying to do the best she can for her little one; and Seth is just looking for a place to lay low while he thinks where he goes next in life. Because Bobbi is trying to fix a B&B and Seth is good with his hand, she offers him a place to stay while he helps her (an idea initiated by Seth’s uncle).

Anyway, it was a fun story all in all. I loved her little one, Austin, and it broke my heart the story with Bobbi’s ex, what a jerk. I loved Seth with Austin, he was much softer than he gave himself credit.

There was a little bit of everything here, not just sexy times, there was some suspense and the finding of answers. I wasn’t much of a fan of Seth’s push and pull, tbh. I felt like he was teasing her and I didn’t like that.

Still, a fun read overall.

The third Tangled in Texas book, Law of Attraction is a great read that grabbed my attention right from the start and held me captive throughout.

Bobbie and Seth are well developed and strong, captivating characters with lots of sizzling chemistry sparking between them and their romance is one that is ‘real’ with lots of tangled up emotions and trust issues that keep the relationship on a rocky slope. Sparks fly and lots of passion heat up the pages but at no point is their relationship a sure thing which keeps readers in suspense regarding their happily ever after until the very end, it certainly had me wondering if they would overcome the emotional strife and the secrets Seth is holding back. Seth’s interaction with Bobbie’s son adds sweet and heartwarming feelings to the story along and there is also some chuckles to be found in this story as well.

The plot flows smoothly with a steady to fast pace and of course lots of suspense and romance that kept me glued to the pages. The suspense regarding the romance is only part of the story as Bobbie has problems with another male from her past and Seth has an enemy that causes some excitement as well as does Bobbie’s overprotective friends with a few intense scenes.

I have read all three books in the Tangled is Texas series and I have to tell you that each and every one of them has been a joy to read. Each of them can be read as standalone stories but for me reading all the stories makes them even better because of all the personal connections between the characters. The stories are full of insight and everyday life occurrences and provides wonderful heartwarming happily ever afters and I can’t wait to read what Alison Bliss has in store for us next.

It was fun revisiting Texas and the characters from the other Tangled in Texas books. In this one, Bobbi, who is a sassy single mother, is trying to remodel & fix up her farmhouse to hopefully turn it into a B&B. She is limited on funds & needs help.

Seth is a former elite soldier who needs to lay low for a while. His uncle is Bobbi's boss at the bar where she works & asks if Seth can stay with her & that he can help her with repairs. She has a hard time trusting men & he doesn't plan to stick around but despite all that they are drawn to each other.

It was fun watching these 2 characters fall in love, letting their walls down.

I love this series by Ms. Bliss and couldn't wait to dive in, her work is never a disappointment. This is Bobbie Jo's book who we met in Jake's book and I loved her. She is a strong girl raising a son on her own with no help from the father. She is a determined woman and just wants her hea and a way to support herself and son. She has bought a place to turn into a bed and breakfast but the place needs work and when she runs out of money she refuses to ask for help from her friends so she does what she can on her own. Enter Seth, Jacob's nephew who agrees to help her in exchange for a place to stay. What the two didn't plan on was the chemistry between them. Seth is just passing through town until he can figure out his next move in life and doesn't want to hurt her by growing feelings and then leaving. What Bobbie Jo doesn't know is Seth is hiding a dangerous past from her and can put her and her son in danger. This book has all the elements I enjoy in a book, suspense, love and comedy, this makes the story so much better in my opinion. Totally hated this book to end but all good things must end. Honest review in exchange for ARC.

Seth and Bobbie

This is the third book in the Tangled in Texas series and it can be read as a stand-alone. Alison Bliss writing is great she can give you a romantic story that has laugh out loud humor!

Bobbie is a single Mom of little 4 year old Austin, she is very protective a great mom and strong heroin. She does not take crap from anyone except for Austin’s biological father who she had a one night stand with, he is an absolute loser and all of a sudden wants visitation time with Austin. She is very sweet and a devoted Mom who works hard to give Austin a good life. She bought an old run down chicken farm to turn into a B&B. She has work hard on it with great progress but she has run out of extra money so she has to do it little at a time.

She works at a bar in town when her boss asks her for a place for his nephew to lay low for 3 months with mixed emotions she agrees to it. It helps that he is a handyman and will help her get the work done to open the B&B.

The chemistry between Bobbie and Seth is off the charts but Bobbie is not sure she wants to get involved she starts setting boundaries with Seth and he continually pushes it. He comes with a massive amount of baggage and she makes it clear she and Austin are a package deal. With sharing close quarters they are having difficulty fighting their attraction to each other. Loved the flirty banter between Seth and Bobbie. And Seth was great with Austin even though he thought he wasn’t. There are a few bumps in the road they have to get thru before they can have their HEA.

The guys that we met in the previous stories Junior, Cowboy, Jake, Judd and Ox they are over the top protective of Bobbie and Austin. There is one scene that had me laughing out loud!!! Great to visit with the entire cast of characters.

A great read from start to finish and I was so happy that Bobbie got her own story!

Safe words are in short order around Seth and Bobbie Jo because both are caught up in worlds of conflict. But in order to avoid spoilers, let me just say the “leprechaun” scenes were amazing—two beautiful pictures of calling in the markers for love! And then there was adorable little “Monster Austin”! But any girl would have to admit envy for my 4 favorites: Cowboy, Ox, Jake, and Judd. Wouldn't We all like our own quartet of Bobbie’s Boys!

I love that Alison Bliss is once again taking us to her fictional small town of Liberty, TX with letting us revisit all it's quirky crazy residents as well as introducing us to some new ones. Seth Landry is new to town. Staying just for the summer he needs a place to stay. Bobbi Jo is a single mom working hard to raise her son and turn a rundown chicken farm into a B&B. Perfect place for Seth considering he has all the handyman skills she needs and maybe a few skills she just wants! These two work great together and before long they have a nice cozy family unit going. Is this something that could last or will Seth's secrets and his past tear them apart?

This book is filled with humor, witty banter, sexy times, and good family fun. It's a story you don't want to miss. I highly recommend it.

Wonderfully written steamy romance with a side of humor.

I was unaware when I started reading Allison Bliss' Law of Attraction that it was the third book in the Tangled in Texas series. So I was happy that it read well as a stand alone though I really liked the secondary characters and plan to go back and read their stories.
Bobbie and Seth were a fabulous couple. I loved the steamy build up. The chemistry between them was combustible. Their banter was fun and there was amazing heart in this story. Austin was adorable and his interactions with his mom and Seth really believable.
I received an advance reader copy from Netgalley.

I'm always hesitant in romance novels when it opens up to one of our MCs talking about how long it has been since they've had sex. This always seems to lead to the hero(ine) entering 5 min later, some heavy petting, some tension, then insta-love. Unfortunately it has become so formulaic in romances that it's no longer exciting or page-turning. Maybe I just need to step away from the romances for a while, but I wish someone could write a story with different bones to it.

Law of Attraction by Alison Bliss
Tangled in Texas #3

Bobbie Jo is ripe for a bit of action and has a babysitter for her young son so heads off to the local watering hole with one thing in mind…and…sees just the kind of guy she thinks might be perfect. Well, her night did I not go as planned though she did get a scorching hot kiss to think about when she got home that evening. Little does she know that the man coming to stay with her, as a favor to a friend, is the man who gave her that kiss that was oh so memorable.

Seth Landry is hot with a capital H. He has a secret or two he is guarding closely and is adept with his hands not only helping to fix up Bobbie’s abode for B&B worthiness but in a few other ways, too. His interactions with four year old Austin, Bobbie’s son, are precious and perfect and warmed the cockles of my heart…just as they warmed Bobbie’s.

I smiled and cared and wanted to slap the biological father of Austin around a bit and wished a couple of times that Bobbie had been a bit less impetuous and thought before acting but then…she is who she is.

I enjoyed the story and wondered a bit about a few scenes that might have been fleshed out a bit more and would perhaps have liked a bit more after the last page but all in all it was a good read and as my first by this author made me interested in reading another book of hers when I can.

Thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the ARC – This is my honest review.

Alison Bliss hits another home-run! With yet another wonderfully written story, you meet two people in dire need of each other - much to their chagrin! Bobbie Jo Weston is hell bent on staying single and protecting her heart and Seth is doing his best to outrun his demons. Together they discover a life they thought possible only in dreams! It was delightful to watch these two maneuver through their mis-beliefs on life and love and then together find their little piece of heaven on Earth. Once again Alison has written an engaging and heartfelt story that had me laughing, crying, moved and oh yes, satisfied.
I requested an advanced copy of this title from NetGalley, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.

Bobbie Jo Weston has been trying to get her son’s father to play a more active role in his life but when he decides to get involved to spite her, she regrets her decision. Its getting too much to handle after trying to fight the crazy attraction to her lodger, Seth Landry, who is keeping quiet about his mysterious past and has no plans to stay in one place for long. I really enjoyed the suspense and found the storyline to be unpredictable enough to keep me interested. Would like to read the other books in the series. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

4.25⭐
This was a very enjoyable story. That although a little hard to get into, soon caught my attention and then really pulled me in. As there was a great mix of heat, angst and sweetness. Not to mention plenty of characters to love and even a few to loath. And I was really engaged throughout and particularly enjoyed how feisty and fierce Bobbie was. Especially when it came to protecting her son Austin from his dead beat dad Jeremy.

And as this is the first book I've read in the series, I have to say I never once felt lost or confused. But I would certainly go back and read the others and I would recommend this story.

There were definitely some cute scenes and great funny bits. Seth and the son was all the feels but I felt like I was reading a bunch of great scenes but it didn't work for me as a whole story. It also took almost too long for me to warm up to the story. I can see a lot of readers enjoying this story despite my feelings of disconnect toward the book as a whole.

I was so glad to be back in Texas with this crew of miscreants...Okay, so they aren't miscreants but the best kind of friends you can ask for!

Bobbie Jo is trying to get her sh- I mean stuff together. Life just doesn't seem to want her to. Enter a favor and a curse wrapped up in a tall, dark, and handsome bow.

I would like to thank Entangled Publishing, LLC (Amara) and Netgalley for providing me with an ARC.

Goodreads: "For single mom Bobbie Jo Weston, finding a husband is not on her to-do list. She's focused on turning a run-down chicken farm into a Bed & Breakfast. She agrees to let a friend’s nephew stay with her in exchange for his handyman skills, but she wasn’t counting on the super sexy Seth Landry being that guy.

Seth has a special skill-set, all right, but it has nothing to do with hammering nails. As a retired member of The Resistance—an elite group of ex-military soldiers—his dark, unsettling past haunts him. He needs a place to lay low, and an out-of-the-way B&B is nothing short of perfect. The blonde beauty doesn’t trust men, and he doesn't plan on sticking around long enough to change her mind.

The closer they get, the more they can't seem to keep their hands off each other. And while Bobbie holds on to her fear of watching another man walk out of their lives, Seth's mere presence has put them all in jeopardy. The only way to ever be free of his dangerous past is for him to accept one last mission..."

If you are in the mood for small town romances look no further than the Tangled in Texas Series. I very much enjoyed the two previous installments, but this Bobbie Jo's story needed to be told and unfolded beautifully. This novel can be read as a complete standalone, but some of the characters featured got together in Rules of Protection and Playing with Fire. Both were also amazing, so I recommend marathoning all three.

Continue reading for my broken down review...

Characters: Bobbie Jo Weston and Seth Landry: My perceptions of Bobbie Jo came from previous character's POVs in the other books and I was not in love with her by any means. Now that I've been in her head I absolutely adore her. Seth is Native American and stands out from the boys of the previous novels. Seth was a great male love interest.
World/Setting: Liberty, Texas: Small town is too big to describe Liberty, Texas. I loved the setting as it was introduced in the previous novel, from the farmland to the pond. This story is spent in Bobbie Jo's home which is being renovated into a B&B and that is one setting trope I always eat up.
Pacing: Really good pacing. I never felt like it dragged. At my reading speed, I finished it in a day or two. It was a similar speed for the other ones so they would be a great long weekend marathon.
Romance (yay or nay?): The romance was wonderful. Bobbie Jo is one of those characters you read about that really deserves strong devotion from their love interest. Seth delivered on this and then some. The entire series played with the idea that love requires sacrifice, Alison Bliss explored this concept so well in all of the Tangled in Texas novels.

So of course Law of Attraction clocks in at 5/5 stars

This was a cute, but sexy book. I liked Bobbie and Seth together and really felt the chemistry between them even though we only got Bobbie's POV. Sometimes kids can be annoying in books, but I really like what Austin brought to the story. There were times when Bobbie got annoying, but overall, I enjoyed this book. The author was able to convey Seth's feelings though Bobbie's POV and that's not easy to do. Definitely recommend!

Great story!! Law of Attraction has lots of funny scenes and I loved the way the hero interacted with the heroine's child. The romance was sweet. Looking forward to the next book.

What a great series!!! I have devoured the previous two books in the Tangled in Texas series and I am thrilled to say that Law of Attraction is just as addictively amazing as the others!

Bobbie Jo is a hard working, devoted mother to an adorable 4 year old boy. Unfortunately, his biological father wasn’t a lasting relationship, so she’s basically been doing everything on her own since he was born. Her dream is to run a Bed and Breakfast and she is excited that it is starting to come to fruition! Taking the first step by purchasing a old farm was a major step, but it needs a lot of work...A LOT! Luckily for Bobbie Jo, a friends gets her in touch with the very handsome Seth Landry. Seth is looking to stay at the farm while he’s in town and as payment he will work on fixing up the farm. Well that was the exact point in this book that I became 100% glued to my kindle! Wow!

I was so flipping excited to finally get Bobbie Jo’s story and I loved what Alison Bliss had in mind for her! Law of Attraction is well paced novel - I didn’t want it to end! The characters are so endearing and relatable. Law of Attraction is a 4.5 star read that I highly recommend to all romance fans- you will not be disappointed! I cannot wait to read whatever Alison Bliss comes out with next!

This was my first read by this author and it was so worth the chance! The story was well written and flowed smoothly. I didn't realize this was part of series but the side characters were introduced in a way that I could identify the background and their importance to Bobbie. Bobbie, Seth, and Austin were well developed and their story sucked me right in. I did, however, want to reach through the pages and strangle the ex Jeremy but let that be a compliment to Ms. Bliss! The ending was a tad rushed but satisfying. I will definitely go back and read the author's other work!
