I found the last book in this series a little confusing until near the end. There were a lot of characters, not all of whom I remembered.

However, the ending was amazing, albeit a not very veiled Biblical allegory. That's not a bad thing though. It kind of reminded me of The Last Battle, which is of course the final book in the Chronicles of Naria, and of course there are many noticable allusions to the Book of Revelation and the Second Coming/the Millenial reign.

Thinks to Enclave for approving me for this title via Negalley. I was not required to write a positive review, and all opinions expressed are my own.

If you like christian fantasy books, you will love this one. It is very well written with lots of emotion. Be prepared to not want to put it down, you just have to know what happens next. Thank you Gilead Publishing via NetGalley for the free copy of this book. All opinions expressed are my own.

Where to begin... Guardian of Ajalon is one of those rare books that deeply stirs your emotions. You will find yourself wanting to cry, shout, and laugh. You will find yourself holding your breath as dangers grow. You will find yourself rooting for and encouraging the characters. Not only does Campbell create fallible and real characters, she weaves together incredible scenery, and an intense plot line. Guardian of Ajalon is not a book you want to miss out on.
