This book was an inspiring and refreshing read; The first book of its type I've read that uses music to enhance the material. I think When Jesus Answers is an invaluable source for people who need healing and deliverance. Many thanks to NetGalley for allowing me to read and review.

When my Mom died I wanted something like this title to come and remind me that God is good even if. That God is good even when. That God loved me even when my life felt like it was thrown in a blender.

This title was not exactly what I imagined it would be but as I walked with eh author through her story it allowed me to process the broken things in my life as well as be encouraged by her testimony of who God really is.

I appreciated the opportunity given me through NetGalley to read and review this title in exchange for my review.

I was looking for a book that would help me in dealing with chronic illness. The ones I've liked the best point me to God and His goodness as shown through scripture. This book was not what I expected.

To be honest, I only skimmed through the first 7 chapters as these chapters were about the author's journey. This book should have "memoirs" in the title. She does point to scripture, but she focuses a lot on Christian musics and points to many songs she likes. My tastes in Christian music are different than the author's.

In chapter 8, the author starts to come up with some help for others on the "journey". There are 8 journeys to work on. Again, there's a strong focus on music, after a prayer, then an allegory, some Bible verses to meditate on, a Life Principle, and things to think about under "Seek Truth" The Seek Truth section seems like a lot of work, basically a self examination of the various topics in the journeys. After the journeys, there are some prayers and then back to the "I" story but with more focus on the Lord than the first 7 chapters.

This book may be useful for some. It's not the type I find most useful.
