This was a really cute quick read with a fun, predictable romance. I wasn't a super fan of the female MC though, so that was a bit of a bummer and mostly the reason as to why I didn't rate it any higher than I did. Liking characters is just a really important part of my reading experience.

Otherwise... I love the cowbow elements combined with the developing romance and really liked a lot of the other characters as well as the writing. It was fun and fast paced and I'd definitely recommend picking this one up if the synopsis looks interesting to you.

This was your average cute love story. It was good, kinda cheesy, but still good! The love story was cute and I was really invested in the characters which made for a pretty great story!

Thank you for letting me read this book!

I really liked this book, it was super cute and I loved the story. I liked the hate-to-love trope in this novel and it is definitely my favorite troupe in New Adult literature. I can not wait to read the next installment of this series when it comes out eventually.

I gave this a 4.75 out of 5 only because I felt it was too short and I wanted to know more about the family.

Since I am not a teenager I wanted to read something that would appeal to my young students.

This theme is quite interesting, rodeo school filled with teenager willing to prove themselves on various fields.
I quite enjoyed the quick narrative, interesting characters and introducing new ones with descriptions that haven't failed.

I think this book is quite good for YA that are trying to find their way in this crazy world of ours where they don't need to be enemies and where friendships are still a real thing.

In the beginning of this book I really hated Poppy, but she changed and grew on me. It's a sweet and romantic story.
I voluntarily reviewed an Reader Copy of this book which I received through Netgalley.

I usually love a slightly cheesy romance but unfortunately this book just wasn't for me. I struggled to connect with the narrator's voice and that clouded my reading of the whole novel.

I got an advanced copy of this book from NetGalley.

This story seems like your typical rich-girl-meets-country-boy story, but it's so much more than that. Kensi (rich girl) does seem to develop and grow throughout the book with the help of her aunt, uncle, cousin, and growing-crush Javier. I like how he shows her that there's more to the ranch than meets the eye.

I did enjoy the start to this "series" (I think it's a series) and look forward to reading the next book. I hope the next book deals with the holidays, and how a rich girl sees the holidays differently..

This was a really cute quick read with a fun, predictable romance. I thought the whole custody thing got pretty deep'n'dark pretty quickly but whatever it was a nice addition. I also liked the dressage/cowboy thing which was quit fun, however at first I really didn’t like her as she seemed immature and bratty but she grew on me by the end. Good fun.

I am just starting to get into the cowboy/western sub genre of romance. This book in particular I kind of felt was a little dull. It seemed very cliche. I know that's how romance books are and I know to expect that with the genre as a whole, but this book was a bit lacking for me.

I really did enjoy this one. It was a light and funny read and just what I needed after reading an epic fantasy series. The chemistry and attraction between Javier and Kensi (I love these names my the way😍) was so cute and just everything I love in a romance.

I also loved the personal growth that Kensi went through while she was on the ranch. I loved how sassy she was and no matter what happened on the ranch she always kept a little of that attitude and I'm glad for it.

This was an amazing read and I'm so glad I jumped straight in.

I’m not really sure how I feel about this story, I mean I liked it ok but it didn’t really give me any particular feelings.
Kensi is your stereotypical spoilt rich girl who ends up at Aunt and Uncles ranch for the summer because of her attention seeking behavior but its really because her parents can’t be bothered to deal with her. I did feel a little bad for her because of the lack of attention and love that is shown by her parents.
I feel like the meat of the story really comes with Javier, it's his story and influence that changes Kensi for the best. Slowly her snottiness falls away and she is just a lonely vulnerable girl who just wants her parents to love her. Also, Javier's story is really tragic, its what really gave this story its depth and its strength.
Overall I did like the story, I liked the cowboy spin this YA book has and it makes great Summer reading.

This was a quick nice little romance that I enjoyed reading. The upper class girl falls for the cowboy. The romance was very angsty and too a while to get into, but I liked that. I liked how Javier brought the best out in Kensington and there was so much personal growth on her part. I loved the family elements throughout, particularly Javier and his brothers. The setting was great and met the author's intention to make it have a cowboy feel. I will continue with book 2, to see where the romance goes.

Kensington Pope is a spoilt rich girl; even her name screams wealth. After her latest antics, her parents have decided to ship her off to her aunt's house in Wyoming. Her aunt and uncle own a Ranch out there and a Riding Academy where they teach Rodeo. This is going to be a massive wake-up call and adjustment for Kensington as all her life she has only had to look out for herself as her parents don't care as long as she isn't causing trouble for them. At first, this seems like hell for Kensington but soon she starts to try, and her eyes are opened up to another world. A world where people don't have money to rely on, a world where people genuinely care for one another and don't try to buy their love with material things. Javier Cruz has lived a rough life and is working hard to get his family back; he doesn't need any distractions especially not a rich spoilt white girl. However, as he starts to spend more time with her, he soon realizes she has no-one and is just crying out for love and attention. I liked this book as though Kensington was spoilt at the beginning, you could see her character blossoming near the end of the book and that she loved her aunt and uncle and cousin Sierra more than anything in the world. This does have an OMG nooo moment with Sierra, but it is what brings Kensington around and shows her that in moments of need, that's when real families and the ones you love come together to form a stronger bond/unit. I liked this book and am looking forward to where the series takes us and hoping Sierra gets her own story.

A Cowboy's Sweetheart is perfectly cliche with a few twists thrown in for fun. I personally love cliche books. From the very beginning you already know how it's going to end but it still takes you on a ride. The best thing about this though is despite it being cliche and predictable there are some major spins the author puts on it that are definitely intriguing and make this book worth it.
The character development is stunning. You really get a sense of what the characters are about and how they feel without them having to flat out tell you. I also love the character interactions in this book. They're funny and sweet.
I would say this is a book for anyone who is a fan of Heartland or any horse movie ever.

I found this book to hit all the cliches that you would expect.
From the first page you know what was going to happen at the end, her whole world is going to turn on its head and she will love the country style of life.. and shocker I was right.
That being said, its predictability took nothing away from the sweet tale that it is.
